We used to play together when we were younger. Before you moved on, before you left me. I watched you throughout middle school, and high school. You've grown up so much. I've missed you. You were my best friend. You were my only friend that I trusted. And surprisingly after these many years of silence between us, I still trust you.
So before you open the journal below this piece of paper, I want you to understand something. It's up to you, whether you open it or not. It's all up too you. Maybe it's best if you don't open it...I don't know. Anyhow, Matthew. I wish you the best, and I hope you're happy. You're an amazing person. And most of all a great friend. I'm sorry that I let our relationship drift apart. I'm sorry for everything. But I want you too know... I love you, Mattie. Just not as a friend should.
