The world stopped spinning, it didn't take long, but eventually it did. I left for the hospital at 3 something in the morning, there was so much blood, I had never seen so much blood. Maybe I should have known this was coming. He never used protection. Almost immediately I was taken into surgery, and the baby, the baby that I never knew I had, the baby that was a product of my stepfather obsession with raping me. No one knew, it hurt to talk about it. The doctors asked who the baby's father was, but I was silent. After a few hours they released me, giving me some pain killers, advising me to come back if anything else happens. I can still remeber seeing them pull it out of me, I could feel the agony being wrought against me, as this tiny mass was ripped from my body. This child, that had been growing inside of me, had been taken. Taken from me, and it was another life that had gone too soon.
They told me I was 6 weeks pregnant. I knew I miscarried it when Richard left after his nightly spree. I was in so much pain, physical and emotional. But it's okay now. It'll all be okay now.
