(Neptune's Point of View)
Histoire: " NEPTUNE Please! Stop playing games, and do your job as a CPU seriously!"
Neptune: "Aww, don't be so pushy Histy, I'm just taking a break from all the drama that happened from the previous battle."
Histoire: "That's what you said yesterday, speaking of the battle, that was already a year ago!"
(Neptune's 4th wall breaking)
Hi guys, wow, it's been awhile huh, anyway as a recap, we just defeated the cause of the commotion a year ago, and we saved SPOILER, from SPOILERS THAT SHOULD NOT BE MENTIONED.
But a year has passed now, and like, wowzers everything has been so peaceful...anyway, this FANFIC of "this dude" follows after the events of "Megadimension Neptunia V-2" a really awesome game, though many people addressed the major NERF on our super awesome skills, like seriously, My "Formation skills" from the previous games were so powerful, that it could one shot a single boss, like so Awesome! But in V-2... yeah.
Anyway, I'm being lectured by Histy right now, to those who don't know, Histy is my Nation's Oracle, she manages the Basillicom where us CPUs live. I stand as the CPU, while my sister is the CPU candidate.
Us CPUs take power from our citizens through shares... but you already knew that.
Anyway, what we CPUs usually do is protect our nation and ensure a brighter future for everyone.
(End of 4th wall Breaking maybe...?)
Histy: "For heaven's sake Neptune, go out there and do your Job!"
Neptune: " But... I just bought this game and...like, really excited to play it right now... :("
Histy: " Do not use emoticons, that's my other self's charm point!"
Neptune: "ahaha... that's what you point out first...?"
Nepgear: "Neptune, we really should do some work, or Histoire is going to throw you out with her voice again..."
This is Nepgear or Nep-Jr. the CPU candidate and my gullible yet adorable little sister... Though some may argue, that she is the older sister, because of her height,her gentle manners, sugar, spice and everything nice, I am for a fact the OLDER SISTER, take that game facts!
Neptune: " Nep-Jr. You would risk your sister-gamer into the outside world... so cruel..."
Nepgear: " What the goodness!? That's not what I meant, aww come on sis..."
Histoire: " You, ought to be doing your work by now, or I suppose you'd want another lecture...?
Neptune: " holy-pudding, no were good, will be going now..."
Histoire: " Not so fast, only you will be doing rounds this time Neptune."
Neptune: " Wh-WHAT!? But why..!?"
Histoire: "Bringing Nepgear would only make her spoil you into doing absolutely nothing while she works. Seriously she spoils you too much."
Nepgear: "Hearing that, kinda hurts me a bit..."
Neptune: "Aww... Oh well... Yeah, I guess it's my chance to be a role model, sit back and watch Nep-Jr. Leave it to your big sister *signature pose*"
And so, I the protagonist have now gone out to do some work.
Is what I'd like to say but, what I usually do is the same old thing anyway...
For now, I'll hit the Guild and do some quests...
Location: Planeptune Guild
This is the Guild, it accepts requests from everyone, and it is up to its officials to answer these requests, some vouluntarily accepts these quests as it also offers credits as well as other give aways.
For now, I guess I'll take a hunting quest...
Neptune: " Oh! An infestation of Dogoos, hmm... Yeah I'll take this."
IF: "Oh hey there Nep!"
This Chikadee is IF I call her Iffy, she is an agent in this guild, she is a close friend of mine, and we really have gone a very long way.
Neptune: "Hiya Iffy, what ya upto today."
IF: "Not much, just patrolling for now."
Neptune: "Oh so that means, you can join me right!?"
IF: " I just said I was on patrol, but... Yeah, I guess I can"
Neptune: "Awesome! IF has been added to the party."
IF: "Come on Nep, we should hurry."
Neptune: "Ahaha, Kk."
It's going to be a lively, day with Iffy!
On the way to the location...

Neptune: "So Iffy, how's Compa doing?"
IF: "Oh her? She's still struggling to become a full fledged nurse, I mean with how clumsy she is, that may take awhile."
Neptune: "I totally agree, however, if she were to get serious though she can really get things done. "
Iffy and I kept talking
The path leading to the location was pretty far, but hey, with a companion in tow, things could get lively
Along the way, monsters poped out of the woodwork, but we managed to make short work of them.
I really love my nation...
But what matters the most...
Is that everyone carries a smile in their faces...
Uh... Hey Mister Author, I'm not used to this narrating stuff, and it isn't really my thing, but I guess what your writing about is true...
Anyway, we arrived in our destination.
Neptune: "Uh... This is the right place, right?
IF: "Yeah, the VOCA PLAINS, it was said to be infested with Dogoos, but what is this, not even a single Dogoo could be seen...
Neptune: "No way, and this place was really far, don't tell me, that the intel was wrong. Oh maybe the player forgot to change the PLANS in the Menu screen?"
IF: "What are you talking about...?"
Neptune: "Nevermind, but still what the pudding is going on here."
*Rustle*rustle*
IF: "Nep, watch out, something's in there."
Neptune: "What...?"
DOGOOOOOOOO!!!!
Dogoos of shapes and sizes came out of the bushes and rushed towards...the exit...?
And then almost instantly an earthquake struck us from where we stood.
Neptune: "Whoah! What in Gamindustry is going on here?!"
IF: "Calm down Nep, were in an open space so earthquakes wont hurt us if we just don't panic."
Soon after the shaking stopped and what we saw was something very alarming.
Neptune: "Iffy, do you see what I see...?"
IF: "Yeah... but who... or what could have done this...?"
Neptune: " No use thinking about it, lets investigate."
IF : "Roger."
The ground was cracked open, and from it an ominous light was shining. It was as if something bright was buried deep inside, but it was unlikely, because when we threw a stone into it, to check its depth, the stone simply landed on the same level of the ground that we were standing on.
Neptune: "what is this? It's like a deep crack, but at the same time it isn't"
IF: "This is weird, I've taken pictures Nep, we better report this back to Lady Histoire."
Neptune: "Right, also I need me some pudding."
IF: "Really Nep, after this kind of incident, you still think about pudding?"
Neptune: "Pudding is the life of all after all, can't live without it...wait whoah!"
Just then... The crack shined a purple hue, and from it came something that we never really expected...
IF: "Who is that...?"
Neptune: "D-d-d-d-don't ask me...!"
IF: "Nep, prepare yourself, I think who ever that is, it's not good news at all."
Neptune: "Got it."
Cue Transformation Sequence
When CPU's transform, they gain tremendous power and in addition to their appearance taking on a more mature look, they also gain changes in their present mind set and attitude. Each change varies from each CPU, some become extremely violent and sadistic, others gain a more calm and stable mind set, and some even gain no change at all, Neptune's Transformation turns her into a level headed woman who can take control of any situation, basically the contrast of her lazy self. (But if you've seen the ANIME or played the games, you're probably familiar with this.)
???: "hmm...?"
Reacting to the sudden outburst of energy from Neptune's transformation, the mysterious individual turned to their direction.
IF: " Who are you..? "
Instead of answering the individual only looked upon them, with an expression as blank as a clean sheet of paper.
IF: "...Ok...Weird..."
Purple Heart: " Iffy, I believe you should act with caution, that weapon right there poses great danger."
IF: "No kidding..."
The being before them, stood there with a sword of great size, it is impaled into the ground and is emanating an aura of pure force.
??? : "Hmm..." It stood there just gazing upon them... when suddenly...
*rumble*rumble*
The ground shook again... and then...
???: "Haa..." the being pulled the sword right out of the ground as if it was nothing, the sword's size was greater than the being who wields it.
The being then proceeds to point the sword towards Neptune (Purple Heart) and IF... it speaks...
???: " State your name... "
Purple Heart: "I am Purple Heart, and I govern this land of Planeptune. This is IF and she is an ally of mine."
???: "Are you my enemy? "
Purple Heart: "What...?"
IF: " Before we answer that, can you tell us who you are and why have you come here?"
???: "...Hmm..."
IF: "You're not answering, huh?"
Purple Heart: " Please, explain why you are here..."
Neptunio: "...I am...Neptunio..."
Purple Heart: " Nep..tunio...?"
Neptunio: "...I am here for my nation's sake... for my world's sake..."
Purple Heart: " What do you mean by that...?"
CRACKLE!!!!
From a distance a loud sound can be heard, like a thunderous roar...
Neptunio turns to walk towards the source of the sound...
IF: "Hold on! Not so fast!"
IF attempts to stop Neptunio with her blades equipped she charges forward...
Purple Heart: "Iffy Wai-"
Before Purple Heart could even warn IF, Neptunio makes a move that even Purple Heart could not follow.
IF: "WHOAHHHHHH!!!"
Neptunio swings his gigantic great sword swiftly and with ease, if not for IF's reflexes it would have been a fatal blow.
IF: "What was that? That attack was way too fast for that giant weapon... wait what the!?"
Out of nowhere, IF's blades shatter.
Purple Heart: "Iffy, are you alright?"
IF: " Uh... Yeah, but what was that... after I blocked the attack, my weapons... it broke"
Neptunio: "Disarm..."
Neptunio speaks...
Purple Heart: "What?!"
Neptunio: "Disarm yourself; I have no reason to fight you."
Purple Heart: "You say that as you point your blade at me, that's not very convincing."
Neptunio: "..."
Purple Heart: "Just tell us why you're here."
Neptunio: "Stay out of my way..."
Purple Heart: "Looks like we will have to do this the hard way."
Neptunio stands still facing Purple Heart...
Purple heart charges towards Neptunio, their blades clash, shock waves of energy blow across the field, as the two fighters face off Purple Heart notices something... Neptunio fights with such might and ferocity, but his face shows no emotion at all, if he fights with such blank expression, his moves could hardly be predicted; blades cross once more, but still no sign of any fatigue, pain, or even struggle from Neptunio's face.
Purple Heart acknowledges Neptunio's strength, for a moment the fierce battle reaches a stalemate, Purple Heart unleashes her Next Gen Transformation... the burst of energy blows Neptunio away, who easily recovers from the sudden surge of force.
Now in Next Gen form, Purple Heart is more powerful than ever...However.
Neptunio: "...Childish..."
Neptunio is undaunted by Purple Heart's power and outright insults the CPU.
Purple Heart: "What are you...? Such strength... such power..."
Neptunio: "..."
Purple Heart readies her blade for her ultimate attack...
She mutters its name... " DIMENSIONAL SLASH "
An attack so fast and powerful that it can tear a hole in space and time, it charges a single slash, which would be followed by a quick and instant execution from Purple Heart, with a solid motion of the CPU, she disappears for a moment, and then reappears near her opponent to deliver this deadly blow...
Neptunio just waits...
Purple Heart disappears... then she reappeared behind Neptunio... She swings her blade...but...
... "Repel her, Elphegor" ...
CLANG!!!
Purple Heart: "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH---!"
In an instant, Neptunio's great sword glowed a purple hue, he spun once and swung the sword intercepting Purple Heart's DIMENSIONAL SLASH parrying the attack, she is caught off guard, Neptunio then proceeds to swing his great sword upward, and with a dash, he blows through Purple Heart's defense and disarms her, the sheer power, caused Purple Heart to faint, and her transformation cancels.
Neptune falls limp on the grassy field.
IF runs to her side in worry.
IF: "Nep! Hey Nep! Wake up Nep!"
Neptunio approaches the two.
IF: "Stay back! Or I'll shoot."
IF has pulled out a pistol, while not really a threat it's something. Neptunio still wears no expression on his face. Instead...
Neptunio: " Don't worry... She is alright; I only exhausted her for now."
IF: "What are you? Why are you doing this?"
Neptunio: "..Hmmm...? but you attacked me first..."
IF: " No we di—Oh, wait I guess we did."
Neptunio: "..."
An awkward silence falls on them... Neptunio deactivates his weapon making it disappear in thin air... and then he offers his help to IF.
IF: "Oh what, you're a friend now?"
Neptunio: "I was never your enemy from the start, I only defended myself."
IF: "But...ok fair point."
Neptunio: "Don't worry, I can carry this girl myself."
IF: "Whoah! Hey bud, I can't just let you do that."
Neptunio: "...huh..."
IF: "Still no expression, what's wrong with you?"
Neptunio: "Don't worry, I didn't even land any actual hit on her."
IF: " That can't be true! I saw you blow through her!"
Neptunio: "Then see for yourself."
IF inspects Neptune, she finds no sign of cuts, bruises or any indication of damage.
IF: " But why did she faint?"
Neptunio: " The move that she used, consumed a huge amount of SHARES, that alone should have exhausted her, I only used my attack to lower the stamina of her already tired frame, and without even a hitch, she falls exhausted."
IF: "Wait how do you know about shares?"
Neptunio: "I'll explain that later, first..."
Neptunio looks around the vicinity, and at the sky... Dark clouds are forming on the direction of the thunderous sound from before...
Neptunio: "We need to leave here fast...To the bascilicom."
IF fell silent and followed Neptunio, to her surprise, Neptunio seems to know where exactly the basillicom is.
In the basillicom...

IF: "Alright you have some explaining to do."
Neptunio: "..Mm..?"
IF: "Hey don't just give me that dead stare, What are you anyway?"
In the midst of the interrogation, Histoire appears.
Histoire: "I apologize for the wait..."
Neptunio: "No worries, how is she?"
IF: "Hey don't just ignore me!"
Histoire: "Do you mean Neptune, she is fine albeit her strength has gone down considerably."
Neptunio: "I-I'm sorry to hear that."
Histoire: "Might I ask, who you may be?"
Neptunio: " I am... Neptunio..."

Neptune's POV
Neptune: "It's dark... I feel drained... Ooooh! What is this! I'm the Heroine here so tell me what's going on here!"
"Don't Worry..."
Neptune: " Wh-WHAT! Who's there? HELLO!"
"It's all going to be alright..."
Neptune: "Hey... Author, you're not trying to rip off that scene from the first game right?"
"I'm here for you..."
Neptune: "What!? I don't get it, what are you talking about!?"
"I won't let it end just yet..."
Neptune: "Ok, I'm totally in the dark; I have no clue as to what is going on right now."
RING*RING*RING*RING*RING
Neptune: "Oooooohhhhh! Shut it!"
CRASH...!
Neptune: "Oh no! Did I break something? And why do I feel like this has happened before?"
???: "That hurts..."
Neptune: "Huh...?"
Neptunio: "Good morning..."
Neptune: "No...Uh...dude... This is a girl's room...so..."
Neptunio: "Oh, don't worry I got permission from Histoire."
Neptune: "umm... no, more like, were you watching me sleep the entire time...?"
Neptunio: "..."
Neptune: "Ahahaha...can you at least answer me...uhh..."
Neptunio: "You're not so sharp are you...?"
Neptune: "Excuse me...?"
Neptunio: "Do you even remember who I am...?"
Neptune: "Why Of course I do... You are...uhh....Who are you?
Neptunio: "haaah..~~~"
Histoire: "Oh Neptune, you've awakened."
Neptune: "Histy Good Morning, Hey what's going on here?"
Histoire proceeds to explain the situation, apparently Neptunio used a skill that saps away the power of its target while dealing absolutely no physical damage, the after effects however drains the stamina of its enemy, rendering them fatigued and unable to fight back.
Neptune: "OH! Now I remember, there was this light it was like a purple hue passed through me."
Neptunio: "Elphegor causes its enemies to experience immense fatigue and makes them unable to fight depending on the situation."
Neptune: "Oh...By the way, can I call you "Nio."
Nio: "Mm? sure, that's fine."
Neptune: "Cool! So Nio, who's Elphegor...?"
Nio: "He's one of the...SPIRITS...that resides within me."
IF: "Spirits...? You mean like ghosts?"
Nio: "No, more like divine beings..."
Histoire: " How did you call unto them, and why are they residing in you?"
Nio: " I'm sorry, I can't tell you that."
IF: "Fine then... How about you tell us why you are here."
Nio: "...As much as I would like to tell you, I can't, I don't want to drag you into this."
IF: "Umm...Hello! We already are, Nep here is the CPU of Planeptune and whatever happens in her domain she needs to know."
Neptune: "Darn right you are Iffy, and not just Planeptune, the entire Gamindustry, I need to protect the entirety of it."
Nio: "...haha... You haven't changed a bit."
Neptune: "What do you mean?"
Nio: "Anyway what I meant to say is-"
From the hallway, someone approaches closer.
Nepgear: "I'm back everyone!"
Nio: "!!!"
Neptune: "Oh! Nepgear! Welcome back."
Nio: "Excuse me guys, I need to go now."
IF: "Huh? Hey wait!"
Neptune: "Hey wait a minute."
Just as Nepgear enters the room, she comes face to face with Neptunio...
Nepgear: "Oh, you have a guest."
Nio: "..."
Nio just stares at Nepgear...
Nepgear: "Hello, I'm Nepgear, nice to meet you."
Nio: "Neptunio, likewise..."
Nepgear: "Wow, you have "Nep" in your name too! Oh sorry, I should prepare some tea for you."
Nio: "No need, I was going anyway."
Nepgear: "I see."
Histoire: "Nepgear, I'm sure you're tired from your patrol, why don't you rest, I'll guide our guest to the exit."
Nepgear: "Huh, Oh, ok."
Nio: " Thank you Histoire, but it's ok"
Histoire: "Actually, I was thinking of talking with you more, if you don't mind."
Nio: "...Very well."
After a short farewell to everyone, Neptunio takes one more look at Nepgear, still with a face devoid of expression, he turns to walk."
Nepgear's POV
Nepgear: "hah..."
Neptune: "Nep Jr. What's wrong."
Nepgear: "Huh, Oh nothing, it's just that person, he seemed... sad"
IF: "Sad, with that face?"
Nepgear: "I can't explain it properly...but..."
Neptune: "Oho~ did you fall for him at first sight?"
Nepgear: "What the goodness, no! That's not it at all!"
What seems to be a non-existent concern might just be something big actually...
Later that Evening...
..

..
Nepgear: "What he actually overpowered you sis!?"
Neptune: "Yeah, I know right!"
Histoire: "I highly disagree though..."
Neptune: "What!? But Histy you should have seen what he did, he was super fast to the point where he was just a purple blur, and that power it easily knocked me out!"
Histoire: "Neptune, let me explain..."
As it turns out it was neither Neptunio's speed nor strength that defeated Neptune, in reality it was Neptune's own ability that knocked herself out.
Elphegor functions like a "repel" when used against an attack, that same force is reflected to the enemy. In other words, the stronger the attack, the more Elphegor repels it back.
Histoire: "Dimensional Slash, consumes so much of your energy that when he reflected it back, you were already on your limit."
Neptune: "No way! That's Awesome!"
Nepgear: "But wait Histoire, how did you know all of this?"
Histoire: "After hearing the term I went looking for it in my book, and I have also Identified the other "SPIRITS" that resided within Neptunio. However I find it odd, these records date way back over a millennia."
Nepgear: "Over a millennia!?"
Histoire: " Correct, these were the times where CPU's such as yourselves have not existed yet. searching for this took for almost 3 hours, and here I am fascinated of such time."
Neptune: "Wait that book has been with you for what... FOREVER right Histy, so just how--"
Histoire: "I assure you, that you do not want to finish that sentence Neptune."
Neptune: "O-Ok! Sorry..."
Nepgear: "So Histoire, if CPU's didn't exist that time, who were the ones who led Gamindustry."
Histoire: "It wasn't Gamindustry before... it was Gamitopia."
Gamitopia... It's name was changed after an incident that happened. The long history of it's time was governed by 4 powerful beings... Much like yourselves they were respected, followed and loved by their citizens. But peace was not always present... Unlike you CPUs who gain power from their Citizens' shares. The Leaders of that time received strength from relics known as Heretics... These relics were imbued with the powers of the 7 foul beasts of Gamitopia each with a unique ability to terrorize the world.
When a Foul Beast is defeated, it's essence is collected and is sealed inside an object, these objects are the HERETICS... And the 4 leaders collected them to gain power... Everything was peaceful again... however as more time passed, the seals weakened as more evil villains causing mayhem appeared and the Beasts would once again appear hungry for more bloodshed by taking in the fear of the people as their power.
This was impractical, while they do gain tremendous power, this cycle of endless battle will never end and so will the casualties that it will inflict upon the land.
Until such time when they finally decided to take their last resort. The leaders knew that each object will not be able to contain a force with such ferocity, So they decided to use their own immortal bodies to seal the dreaded beasts at a price.
3 of the leaders sealed one beasts inside them however one leader sealed 4 of the beasts.
And before succumbing to an eternity of slumber and becoming the worlds foundation for peace, the leaders left behind shards of their power, these shards function like how the monsters reappear except these shards take their power from the faith of the citizens towards their leader... Soon these shards will be powerful enough to give birth to beings, that we now know today... as Console Patron Units... Leaders of the new generation, the last gift of the 4 great leaders.
Nepgear: "That's us!"
Neptune: " Well, that's it, get me a pudding and let me sleep, that was one way to explain our birth."
Nepgear: "Who were these leaders Histroire?"
Histoire: "Ah yes, the 4 great leaders were known as Lords at the time respectively they were..."
Schwarz - Black Lord of Magma
Weiz - White Lord of Snow
Grun - Green Lord of Gale
and... Neptunio - Purple Lord of Thunder
Nepgear: "Neptunio, you mean..."
IF: "I see so, that's why he knew the area so well, it's his homeland."
Histoire: "Exactly, He is one of the 4 lords, but..."
Neptune: "What is it Histy?"
Histoire: "The 4 lords should have gone into slumber, and should have not been able to awaken. It is recorded in here that if the Lords were to awaken then all the power that they once had would return to them, taking everything with no consideration to fully revive themselves... in other words, Neptune, Nepgear, you should have disappeared by now."
Neptune: "Wait, why would we disappear."
IF: "You dummy! you were created by the Great Lord's power, if he was awakened then you would be absorbed as you were a part of him once."
Nepgear: "I see..."
Neptune: "But we just saw him, a couple of hours ago, Nepgear even held his hand, and nothing happened."
Histoire: "That is true, I'm not quite certain myself, but we should go after him and persuade him to give us answers."
Neptune: "ALRIGHT! We've got a quest everyone, pack your puddings and lets go."
Nepgear: "Wow Sis, I never thought you'd be this enthusiastic."
IF: "Yeah, I thought you would be moping and complaining."
Neptune: "Hey That's rude! I say Rude! Even I can be serious you know! Plus this is payback time."
Histoire: "Payback?"
Neptune: "Yeah, now that I know his power, I can beat him lickity split."
Histoire: "I won't be too sure of that."
Neptune: "Huh what do you mean."
Histoire: "Don't you remember, I said one of the 4 leaders sealed FOUR beasts inside him, who do you think that is?"
Neptune: "I-it's him...Neptunio, isn't it."
Histoire: "Correct, the beasts within him are Elphegor, Cyfer, Eelze and Atas. You've already known Elphegor's ability, Cyfer doubles the fortitude and makes his target or himself physically unbeatable.Eelze siphons the enemy's vitality, greatly causing pain but heals the lord himself. Atas can manifest himself when summoned to fight alongside his lord or he can grant gargantuan strength to his target or himself.
Neptune: " So you mean I've got no chance...?"
Histoire; "That's not what I'm saying, Neptune, you are already strong enough, but taking him head on all by yourself would be foolish."
Neptune: "I understand Histy, and I already know..."
"I'm not alone."
Histoire: "..."
While Neptune and the gang prepare to set out in searching for Neptunio and the answers to their question.
Neptunio himself is quite far now... he is heading to the other nations... his motives are unclear as of now...
But the supposed awakening of these ancient lords what does it foretell for the entirety of Gamindustry.
Notes:
Neptune is very consistent in performing 4th wall breaks, this either occurs in ways where she talks to the player in the game. She is also very META and likes to mention game mechanics in her lines.
Histoire The number "3" in the hours that took her to search about the Lords, is actually a rather distinctive part in her character, in the games, everything she does will always connect to the number "3", depending on the task, some take 3 seconds, 3 minutes, 3 days, or even 3 decades.
Neptunio's Spirits The spirits and foul beasts that exist in this fanfic actually connects to the 7 deadly sins, Neptunio holds Elphegor who is Belphegor the demon of sloth, Atas is Satan the demon of wrath, Cyfer is Lucifer the demon of pride and Eelze who is Beelzebub the demon of Gluttony.
The lords Names With the exception of Neptunio, the other lords names' represents the color in the name of their domains, these names are taken from the german language. Schwarz means Black Weiz means White and Grun means Green,
