(The Salvatore Boarding House)
Bella's POV.
I start to stir awake, and I feel a pair of arms wrapped around me. Then I remember exactly what happened before I fell asleep, I had sex with Stefan Salvatore. I start to feel uncomfortable as I'm starting to feel a little like Katherine, moving from one Salvatore brother to the next.
However, the thing is I don't feel anything when I'm with Stefan and that's not because I have my humanity off, I think I still have a soft spot for Damon but he likes Elena now. Everyone loves Elena. I then feel his arms tighten around my waist.
"Good morning" Stefan whispers in my ear, and I feel his warm breathing on my neck.
"Morning" I say to him, as I turn around to face him "I don't hear Damon, where is he?" I ask him confused.
"Dunno, but if he's gone he can't interupts us" He tells me, and he starts to kiss me and I kiss him back.
"Oh, Bella, Stefan" We hear Damon call us, and I break the kiss.
"Shh" Stefan whispers and kisses me "He'll go away" He tells me, and kisses me again.
"I hear you breathing" Damon yells, and I break the kiss so I can stand up, and I wrap a blanket around me. I then use my vamp speed to quickly change into a pair of denim shorts and a plain t-shirt.
"C'mon, lets go see what he wants" I tell stefan and he sighs, as I walk down stairs.
I walk into the living room from where Damon was shouting from, and as soon as I see him I burst out laughing. He's sitting on a chair as chains are wrapped around him with a fire poker through his stomach.
"Low blow, guys. Low blow" Damon tells me as I calm down my laughter.
"What the hell happened to you?" Stefan asks as he comes up from behind me, and putting a shirt on.
"Whatever twisted ripper game this is, leave me out of it." Damon tells us, and I shake my head at him.
"Well, I didn't do this" I tell him, as I put my hands up in surrender.
"Quit screwing around!" Damon shouts at us.
"I didn't do it either" Stefan tells him, and I check the chains.
"It's pretty messed up though, isn't it?" I ask him with a chuckle.
"Yep" Damon says through gritted teeth, and I yank the fire poker out of his stomach.
I watch Stefan start to untangle the chains around Damon, and I turn around as I feel another presence, but know ones there. I turn back to Stefan, and we start to leave after I drop the poker and we leave Damon to unchain himself as Stefan loosened the chains for him.
"Yeah, not to worry. I'll just untangle myself!" We hear Damon shout as me and Stefan leave out the front door.
(Skip to the Mystic Grill)
Me and Stefan are walking the streets of Mystic Falls as we try and find Elena, and we finally find her sitting outside of the Mystic Grill wth Jeremy and Ric, and Jeremy has just left them. Me and Stefan go over to them and join them both.
"Hey, guys. Who forgot to invite me to the family summit?" I ask them, and stefan picks up one of the journals on the table and looks through it.
"Hmm? Wow. All these words. I forgot how much I used to care" Stefan says, as he drops the journal back on the table.
"I didn't" Elena tells him, and I roll my eyes at her.
"You know, Elena, it's probably best you not torture yourself with memories from the past. It's best we both just move on and accept things as they are" Stefan tells her with a smirk.
"You don't have to be here, Bella and Stefan" Ric tells us, and I glare at him.
"You know what, Alaric, you're right. We don't. But Elena's here, and we've been compelled to look out for Elena" I explain to him in a bored tone.
"Besides, there's going to be people everywhere tonight. So there's going to be lots to eat" Stefan adds, and I immediately perk up as I can't remeber the last time I ate, wait... actually I think it was about half and hour ago.
I snap my self out of my thoughts when I look at Elena's shocked expression towards Stefan.
"I'm kidding, I'm kidding. Loosen up" Stefan tells her, and Ric stands up and leaves to enter the grill.
"Catch you later" I say Stefan as I pat his back and follow Ric inside. I look for him, and he's over by the bar with Damon, so I go over to them.
"Oh, come on. Have a drink with me. We've got trouble" Damon tells Ric, and I sit next Damon.
"I'll have a drink with you" I tell him, but Damon just glares at me before turning to Ric.
"No, you've got trouble. See, we're not a team. You tried to kill me. All right? We're not friends. I don't like you anymore" Ric tells him stubbornly, and I take Damon's order of whiskey and start to drink it.
"Ah! But remember back when you liked me and we conspired to kill Uncle werewolf Mason Lockwood?" Damon asks, as he takes the glass of whiskey from my hand and places it back down on the bar table.
"Yeah, and?" Ric sighs as he tries to hurry the conversation up.
"I think he's still a little pissed" Damon tells him, and I immediately perk up.
"How is that possible? He's dea-" I cut myself off when I see not so dead Mason arrive at the bar and drinks the rest of Damon's bourbon.
"Mason?" Ric says, and I slowly get up from my stool in shock.
"God, I miss whiskey" Mason says, and I back up from where he stands as I'm in shock, but I bump into a hard and familliar chest. Damon and Ric then turn to face me and look at whoever is behind me in shock, I slowly turn around and I see...
"Lincoln?" I ask, and someone suddenly snaps my neck and I'm consumed by darkness.
(Skip to the underground City Jail)
I start to wake up when someone kicks my leg, and I open my eyes to see Elena... Lexi and Lincoln.
"Wake up, sleepyheads" Lexi tells us, and I look over to my right and I see Stefan chained up to a chair and I realise I am too.
"How you feelin'?" Lexi asks us, but all I can do is focus on looking at my not so dead ex boyfriend.
"What is this? Let me out of here!" Stefan shouts at them.
"Shh. Inside voices, please. I'm trying to get inside your head" Lexi tells us, but I ignore her.
"Elena. Get rid of her, please" Stefan tells her, and I finally speak up.
"Your dead" I say to Lincoln, and he looks at me sadly.
"Yeah, I know" Lincoln tells me, and walks towards me "I don't know how long I'm going to be here, but I'm going to help you" He tells me, and he starts to caress my cheek, but I shake it off and look at Stefan as he glares at me and shakes his head no.
"You can't help me... Klaus has control now" I tell him as I look down at the ground. He won't make me turn my humanity back on, he's dead... He's not really here.
"First step, drying them out. Starve away the blood lust. Strip away the temptation" Lexi explains "But since Bella is much younger, it will have an even bigger effect on her than Stefan" She explains. I'm not turning it back on, no matter what... I don't want to feel anything anymore.
"This isn't going to work, Lexi. You can't do this" Stefan tells her, but Lexi ignores him as she starts to walk towards me.
"You heard the not pretty part?" Lexi asks her, and she lifts my chin, making me look at her and she looks at me in the eyes as I feel something weird in my head.
"I heard you" Elena tells her, and Lexi walks over to Stefan and does the same thing to him.
"What are you doing?" Stefan asks her, and I feel pain shoot through my body as I growl in pain and I hear Stefan also growling in pain. I look down at my hands and arms, and I'm desicating.
"What are you doing, Lexi?!" I ask her through gritted teeth.
"Doing what I do best, sweetness. I'm saving your lives" She tells us, and I feel my whole body beginning to stiffen and I can't move.
"Lincoln!" I shout quietly as everything starts to go dark and I feel like I'm dying.
I start to feel my body undesicating, and I weakly open my eyes to see Lincoln looking at me worried.
"There still in there, Elena. You just have to break through" I hear Lexi tell Elena, and Lincoln comes and crouches down to my level.
"I have to go, but your going to get through this" He tells me as he holds my hand, and I feel too weak to push it away "I love you" Is the last words I hear before I feel his soft lips place a kiss on my forehead. I look back up at where he stood, but he's gone along with Lexi.
