Ari is a twenty-two year old fresh out of college girl who is teaching in The Bronx, New York. She is ambitious African American girl who loves kids to pieces she has a degree in teaching for all grades but she is teaching pre-kindergarden because that is what she really enjoys. Her kids adore her probably more than she does them. She wants to start a family in the few years to come, but is hesitant from the what she has seen growing up thanking God the worst she has had is someone cheat on her.
Angelo is an Italian mob boss from the Bronx, he is twenty-five and is ready to have a serious relationship. He is known as a player around his town but he does know how to stay commited. When he has to pick up his one and only favorite nephew from school late one day; he meets Ari or Miss Moss as his nephew Lorenzo corrected him. He immediately knows that she is the one for him, but whenever he askes her out she simply says possibly maybe.
