A quick explanation, this one shot is based on the comics Grayson which is a very good comic series and I am reading it right now. Dick is your fiancé and..... well, just read, I don't want to spoil it, you're also a doctor.
Y/n's pov
I wiped my tears away as I looked at the gravestone in front of me, it said 'here lies Richard John Grayson, a friend, a son, and a hero'.
Damn you, Richard, you promised me you'll come home alive, why'd you lie and leave me? Bruce placed a hand on my shoulder, "let's go home," he said, Barbara stood next to me and nodded, "yeah, let's go home," she agreed, I nodded and we left, I looked back at Dick's gravestone before getting in the limo.
Dick's pov
I pulled out a locket that Y/n had given me years ago, it held a picture of her and me together at a Charity Ball that Bruce always held. Y/n's hair was braided, she wore f/c earrings, and a f/c gown, she leaned on my back while I had a smirk that day. My thumb brushed against Y/n, how I wish I can have her back in my arms, where I know she's safe and alive.
She'll kill me if she finds out I'm still alive but I have to do this, whatever secrets Minos is hiding I have to find out what it is, the Justice League is gone, it's dead now. Several Leaguers are still alive but they're barley hanging, I know Batman is fine and so is Y/n. Y/n..... her h/c hair is so soft and silky, her bright/warm e/c eyes are so beautiful, every night, her back is pressed against my chest, my arm is being used as a pillow, and she'll be safe from any harm.
I know she can fight, she's a deadly fighter but she's still vulnerable, she's human. God, I miss her so much. Someone knocked on the door, I got up to answer it "Helena?" I asked when I opened it, she noticed the locker in my hand, "what's with the locket?" she asked "well, I'm surprised you don't know," I said "after all, you did read my files," "true," Helena said "someone gave you that locket, someone close," Helena said "my fiancée," I said, I walked back to my bed and sat down, "I never knew you had a fiancée, Dick," said Helena "not many people knew," I admitted.
"Before my "death" we were planning on tell our family but something came up and you know the story from there," I said "she's in so much pain right now, I can tell," I went on "you must love her very much," Helena said "I'll do anything to see her again," I said "how does she look like?" Helena asked "h/c hair that reaches her h/l, the warmest/brightest e/c eyes you can see, a bright smile, and of course, a perfect body to my eyes," I said "I'll never forget meeting her," I mumbled.
Y/n's pov
I stared at a picture of Dick, Bruce, Barbara, Alfred and me, we went to the park together once. It was nice, I remember going to that very same park when it was winter, it was snowing too, Dick and I were on a stroll together and we slipped. Dick cushioned my fall and once we got back up to our feet Dick proposed to me.
Tears poured down my cheek, why did death have to take you Dick? why is fate so cruel? why did they take everyone that I love from me? "Ms. Y/n, perhaps you shouldn't stay here for long," Alfred said, he gently took my elbow, "come, Ms., Master Bruce wishes to see you," he said and he guided me away.
"What did I do to deserve this, Alfred?" I asked "did I do something wrong?" "no, you did not, Ms., life is always never fair and death is part of life," Alfred replied "you must let go, Ms., move on with your life," "I'll never move on, Alfred," I said and we entered the Batcave.
Bruce looked up "how are you, Y/n?" he asked "horrible," I said "Alfred, I'll like to talk to Y/n alone," Bruce said, Alfred nodded and he left, "Y/n, death is never easy to accept, it's time for you to move on," Bruce said, he placed his hands on my shoulder, "how?" I asked "how can I forget Richard?" I asked "how can you forget him?" I asked "he's your oldest son, and here you are telling me to forget him," I said "are you willing to forget him too?" Bruce kissed my forehead softly "I'm not going to forget him, Y/n, I'm just going to let him go," Bruce explained "it's time for you to do the same," Bruce said while wiping my tears "I miss him," I whispered and Bruce hugged me, "I know you do, Y/n, so do I," said Bruce "everybody does," after talking a bit more I left so I can get to Gotham Hospital in time.
I wiped my tears away "I'm okay," I whispered and I entered "good evening, Doctor L/n," greeted Cho(if anyone knows where I got that name I love you) "good evening, Cho," I greeted her, I grabbed my doctor robe and began working.
Agent 37(Dick)'s pov
Minos has another mission for us, Helena and I are waiting to be briefed for it "Matron and Agent 37, your task is simple, protect a civilian," said Minos "you know her very well, Agent 37," "I do?" I questioned "yes, her name is Y/n L/n," said Minos.
