"Yo E!" Someone called from across the street causing Ethan to look up from his phone and in that direction "Aye wassup nigga" He dapped his right hand man up.
"Shit" He looked around as they walked to Ethan's car "And Definitely not this block damn E shit moving slow now?" He teased referring to the amount of Ethan's customers.
He unlocked his door and got in "You don't even believe that bullshit" He replied back in a laugh not even phased by the remark. Zay laughed too after getting in "Of course, but yo how Moms been she aight? She good?" He asked his face suddenly laced with concern
"Yeah she good, Muhfucka you ain't gone be good if you don't go see her" He joked starting his car up. Zay sighed and sat back "I know man I just been busy"
Isaiah has looked at Ethan's Mom as his own since they were kids. He's 23 now and Ethan's only a few months older. Zay bounced from foster home to foster home as a kid
But, that only lasts so long when you're in a city like New York. As soon as 15 he ran to the streets to make his own money. That's when he met Ethan, the young boy who was all about School and ball.

During this time Ethan's mother was getting beat on by his father, Also named Ethan. He felt helpless and weak not being able to help his mother when his father would come home drunk. Accusing her of outrageous shit that often led to him putting his hands on her.
Ethan didn't understand why his mother refused to leave when he would beg her to whenever his father wasn't around. It frustrated him. To the point where he eventually stopped trying.
The day he met Isaiah was supposed to be a regular day. His mom and dad would start arguing to the point where it drove him out of the house and to the court.
He ended up challenging this kid who sat on the bench critiquing his shot like he knew some shit. They got a game going and it was lunch on the loser, Ethan had no money but he didn't need the money to bet because he knew he'd win. And that's exactly how it played out.
Over lunch they found themselves getting acquainted and E ended up venting to Isaiah about how much he hated his father and all the stuff he put his mother through, how bad he wanted him out etcetera, etcetera.
Isaiah felt for the boy although the was younger he was more mature mentally, he was sure he had seen, been though and done more than the dude sitting across from him, so long story short He constructed a plan that got Ethan's dad out for good. Which earned him a lifelong friendship and the mother he always yearned for.
"I feel you bra this shit ain't gone move itself" Ethan pulled off In his 2017 328i BMW.
Silence filled the car as they drove but not an awkward one. "Fuck" E cursed causing Zay to sit up and look out the window "Oh man my bad" He chuckled as he turned a corner "I just forgot something" Zay sucked his teeth before getting comfortable again
Moments later they were in front of a pharmacy "Aww don't tell me one of these hoes done finally got ya ass.. Cause I swear to god you ain't gone hear the end of it" Zays loud ass mouth said as he got out after E "Man shut up" He laughed "I ain't even that much of a hoe" Zay side eyes him but said nothing else.
As they entered the pharmacy Ethan made sure he had all of his mothers prescriptions before approaching the pharmacist area of rite aid.
He was looking down at his phone while he waited since no one was at the counter for some reason. He felt Zay tapping him repeatedly so he looked up giving him the meanest mug "What nigga!?" Zay smirked and pointed in front of him
Ethan looked ahead of him to see a woman. A fine ass woman. She didn't look old either so it confused him as to how she was a doctor of any sort. Not to mention she was black. (Pls don't be childish and simple minded about that last statement)
He cleared his throat "...Oh yeah here, my bad" He got the prescriptions out ignoring the snickers he heard from Zay on the side of him
"Thank you.. I'll be right back" She politely grabbed them from him trying not to stare as bad as she wanted to
When she disappeared in the back Zay gave him a funny face before speaking "I ain't even that much of a hoe" He mocked him in a doofy voice "Son you looked like you was ready to bend that poor innocent looking ass girl over this counter" He put his hand on the counter and shook his head
Ethan squinted his eyes at Zay before sucking his teeth "You buggin...I was just tryna figure out why the fuck she look so young. These muthafuckas usually be old as hell" He told half the truth. That was only part of the reason he was looking at her the way he was but wasn't gonna tell Isaiah's loud ass that
"I hear you" Zay nodded his head forward "There go ya girl right there" He instantly doubled over in laughter at how fast E looked in the direction the Pharmacist left in
"Remind me to drop yo ass off" E pointed before watching the pharmacist approach forreal this time "Okay misterrr?"
"Ethan" E said leaning over the counter. She nodded and began explaining the medications, possible side affects and dosage. Zays eyes widened from the time E told her his name because he doesn't do that, sad to say but not even in a professional environment either. This nigga will tell you his name is E and that's that.
"That's all?" He asked the woman and she nodded "Yes I think that'll be all" He hesitated but stood up straight grabbing the bag from the counter "Aight well thanks missss?" He tried to be smooth mocking her from earlier "London" he flashed her a smile causing her to shy away
"Oh okay.. Well thank you London" She waved him off "No thank you for the service Ethan, come back soon" He was getting frustrated trying to understand how she was able to keep it professional this long. Any other broad would've been slipped him they number or atleast slid a flirt or two in by now.
He left back out going to his car "Somebody look upset" Zay sung hopping In passenger. E ignored him mentally reminding his self to Deadass drop him off home. "Now why would I be upset" He questioned as he pulled out of his parking space
Zay laughed "Cause you want her but she ain't checking for you like that so yo jidenna looking ass don't know how to take it" E scoffed "You know my name? Cause I think you may have forgot"
He laughed because it's damn near impossible to tell E he ain't the ultimate Mack all the time "Matter fact when you left out ion even think she did the double look bruh" Zay teased some more knowing it would get him started "I see what you doing, it ain't gone work cause if I wanted her I'd get her" He shrugged appearing to be sure of his words on the outside but on the inside not so much
"I hear you big homie" Zay put his hands up in defense before picking his phone up to tend to one of his hoes "What you mean?....Yea cause I'm in a car dumb ass.....No not with a bitch....Don't worry bout that...Bye then the fuck" He hung up on the girl in the middle of her speech and laughed
"Ion even see how yo dumb ass get any bitches To be quite honest with you...You rude as fuck, broads don't like a disrespectful nigga" He glanced quickly at Zay before putting his eyes back on the road "They damn sure Love this disrespectful nigga" He laughed popping his imaginary collar
"No nigga they love ya respectful ass money" E chucked making a left "You swear you funny Winnie the pooh lookin ass nigga" Zay mumbled mugging him while he wasn't paying him no mind
"What you get anyway?" He asked E after it got quiet "Stuff Ma asked me to pick up" He mugged him "Nigga what you mean? You just said she was good E" Ethan nodded slowly knowing he was gonna have to explain this nice and slow
"And she is...She been had diabetes though dumbass" Zay calmed down pushing aside his thoughts of cancer. He had a habit of thinking of the worse in situations just to prepare for them.
"I was bout to start wilding in here" He chuckled then looked out the window when he felt that they had came to a stop. He scrunched his face up when he saw his house
"Nigga you thought I was playing?" E started laughing before he hit the locks
"You should know better than that by now"
