The picture above is a picture of what Tristan looks like. I've uploaded the same picture to chapter 4 today when I saw that there was no picture there. For some reason, some of my pictures on my stories have been disappearing and so I uploaded a new picture of Tristan. Next chapter will be what Skye looks like. AND ALSO PLEASE READ THIS BIT AS WELL. I WAS READING MY CHAPTERS AND REALISED THAT I'D FORGOTTEN ABOUT KIARA AND SO I DECIDED TO CHANGE KIARA'S NAME TO SKYE, OKAY? AND SKYE DOESN'T HAVE A PIXIE CUT ANYMORE. ...I really need to edit this book.

~Tristan~

Mom, Skye, and Lyric had been out for a fair while. I'd asked dad when they'd gone but he tensed up and shooed me out of his office. I grumbled in reply and walked back downstairs. Adam and Brent were in the kitchen and so I sat down at the table, picking at Brent's food, to which he slapped my hand.

"Where's Skye and Lyric?" I asked them. I looked to Adam but he kept his head down in whatever book he was currently reading. I rolled my eyes. Figured I wouldn't get a response out of him.

Slowly, but surely, a smirk made its way onto my lips as I turned to Brent. I heard Adam place his book down when he realised my intentions.

"Brent, where's Skye?" I asked. I'd always known he had a crush on my little sister for as long as Brent and I had been friends. My umber eyes watched him squirm in his seat. His eyes snapped over to Adam, who was giving him a silent look, before looking back down to his lunch.

"I, er," he stumbled over his words and my eyebrow arched as I watched him.

"Brent," Adam warned in a tone I'd never really heard before from him. Brent sucked in a breath and clamped his mouth shut. I let out a groan and let my head fall onto the table.

I didn't mean to but I hated not knowing things. Lyric hadn't even been staying with us for very long and yet, there was something about her I couldn't shake.

Suddenly, the front door open. I heard some shuffling and then some voices. My head slowly raised and looked out the door.

"Just go lie down, Lyric, okay?" Came a soft voice that belonged to my sister. Skye was met with silence as I heard someone walking up the stairs. We had all noticed how Lyric had really come out of her shell. Not to everyone, no. She hadn't said two words to me since her last outburst.

I then felt a sudden anger pass through me and I don't know why. I stood up abruptly, receiving startled looks from Brent and Adam, and stalked to where Lyric was.

"Listen, she may be your friend but she's my sister. Treat her with some respect," I hissed as I grabbed her forearm. I felt her tense up under my touch and freeze where she was standing.

Mom placed a hand on my shoulder, gripping it tightly but I didn't let the girl in front of me go. Lyric slowly turned around and I was slightly shocked to be met with glossy eyes.

"Please let me go," she whispered softly, her voice wavering at the end of her words. I stared down at her with a blank face before finally letting her go. I watched as she quietly walked up the stairs to her room with Skye in tow, Skye throwing me a nasty look as she did so.

I knew from then on out that I needed to avoid Lyric to the best of my abilities. She wasn't my problem and I wasn't hers.

However, that thought didn't settle with me well.

~Lyric~

I silently shut the door to my room. Skye had walked to me to my room after apologising profusely for her brother's behaviour and left to go back to her room. But I couldn't hear her. All that was running through my mind were Hailey's words to me at the clinic.

"Not baby, Lyric, but babies. Triplets."

Triplets. I, Lyric Evans, currently had triplets inside of me. No wonder I was bigger than usual. I flopped down on my bed and curled under the duvet. My mind whirled with endless thoughts. Should I keep them? Or not? What happen later on in the future? Would I ever have enough money to keep them?

All the negative thoughts were pushing my positive thoughts away, making me sink into a deep sadness. I knew that there was no way I could keep three babies. I couldn't put them up for adoption because I know that if I did, I would want all three of them to be adopted together.

I shakily stood up and wandered over to my underwear draw. There, I pulled out my life savings in cash. I took a deep breath and counted how much was there before my door suddenly burst open.

I jumped an inch in fright, effectively sending my money flying through the air. Brent and Adam shut the door behind them and were quick to help me clean up the mess I had made.

I quietly nodded my head at them before I was met with Adam's narrowed grey eyes. He was looking at the bundle of money in my hand before he slowly looked to me.

"What's the money for?" Brent asked, confusion lacing his tone. I snapped away from Adam's scrutinising look and blinked a few times to compose myself. Then, my brown eyes widened and I quickly shoved the money back in the draw.

"I-I was just counting it!" I exclaimed quickly and sat back down on the bed. The two boys towered over me. Brent looked at me for a second before shrugging his shoulders and sitting on the floor in front of me.

On the other hand, Adam was still giving me the same look. Without warning, his lips parted in a slight gaping manner and his eyes widened. Brent gave him a weird look and I took that chance to quickly shake my head at Adam. He gave me a warning look before he went back to his blank face.

I silently breathed a sigh of relief.

"So?" Brent queried. I gave him a questioning look and fixed my bun atop of my head.

"So, what?" I asked, crossing my arms over my stomach.

"So, what gender is the baby?" Brent asked, excitement taking over his baby like features. I couldn't help but give him a small smile back at his excitement, raising an eyebrow.

"I'm not actually having a baby," I answered, only to be met with two very, very confused stares. They both blinked at me, at each other, and then back to me.

"I'm having three. Triplets," I added on. Silence is what answered me and I nervously picked at my tights.

Suddenly, I was enveloped in a tight hug. I froze, still not being someone who liked contact before I slowly, and slightly awkwardly, patted Brent's back.

"I'm so happy for you!" He gushed, pulling back. The grin on his face was so contagious that I couldn't help but smile back.

"Thank you." Honestly, I didn't know how I felt. Brent suddenly remembered he had to do something and so he left, but not without me making him promise he wouldn't tell anyone.

He shut the door after he left and I was left alone with Adam. I didn't know where to look but what I did know was that I didn't want to look at Adam, knowing I would cave and tell him everything.

"Don't do it." At those simple but sharp three words, I looked up at him. He didn't look like the normal Adam. He looked worried, extremely worried. Although, his posture stayed the same.

"I-I-" I was lost for words. Adam might know but I wasn't necessarily close to him. In fact, I barely knew him.

"You will regret it the second you do it. Those three babies have become such a big part of your life, even though you only just found out today that there's three of you. Whatever you may think about this situation, know that there is always a way out. Don't. Do. It."

I was so stunned by his words, I didn't think I could be more stunned by his next actions: placing his hands gently on my stomach. I recoiled slightly but he didn't do it.

"Please, don't do it." His voice came out barely a whisper but he sounded so pained. Something about his words struck a cord with me and I swallowed nervously. His eyes snapped up to me and I was taken back by the amount of emotion flowing through his eyes.

"Promise me, you won't do anything."

I was quiet before I slowly lowered my head.

"I promise."

~UN-EDITED~

I am so sorry this chapter wasn't the best. For some reason, I just didn't know what to write. But when the book's finished, I will be editing it! Anyways, I hoped you enjoyed what minimal content there is!
