Dipper POV
We started up the machine in less than an hour, "Alright, we are missing some things." Stan announced, "We need some acid or something to get this thing going."
"How are we going to get that?" Mabel asked, "We are rich but not that rich. They won't give us acid."
"We need to create a plan or something because the Pines are coming back soon." I replied, "We already wasted so much time trying to get in here."
"Alright, alright. Dipper you go out because you are messenger about when they leave again." Stan ordered, "Since you are going to be out there...you get the acid."
"What!"
Mabel placed her arm on my shoulder, "Oooo, poor baby can't steal some acid by himself." I jerk my shoulder, "Get lost."
"Mabel you are also going up and getting acid." Stan added.
"What!"
"Ha ha!" I laugh.
Mabel shoved me. Then she faced Stan, "Why?"
"You got a show and an alibi to create and have. It's something you can do easily...now Stealing the acid isn't going to be easy but I know that my two best great niece and nephew could do."
I sighed. Mabel mumbled something under her breath. Stan faced the panel, "Alright...I think that is all...now get out of here so we won't get in trouble with the nitwits. I'll stay here and make sure everything is going according to plan."
"Always giving us the hard stuff." Mabel whined as she headed out. I also headed out and place the vending machine back. Then we heard the sound of the doors shutting. "Shoot, they're here." I cursed. Mabel poked her head to the window, "Ooo! I can see Gideon! Gasp! He got a big fish! That's my sugar plumb!" I grab her arm, "Stop drooling over him and let's go through the back!"
Then we manage to get out of the house before the Pines and Pacifica came in.
Pacifica POV
It's been a few days since I've seen Dipper....He hasn't come to see me at all, which was strange...and why was I caring so much about it? I guess I missed him...but I couldn't just let that stop me for having fun...
Gideon and I were outside having a water balloon fight, "You know Paz...I've been hearing strange things at night."
"What do you mean?" I asked as I threw a water balloon at him. Gideon dodged it, by pure luck, "I don't know...like last night. I heard like someone was up in the store. There were two people muttering and bickering. Then sounds of wheels, like they were carrying something into the house. I even went to the store to see if someone was there and there wasn't."
"Then there was nobody."
"But there were marks on the wood like something heavy was there! Pacifica! There were people there! Then at other nights I hear humming and then I would crash to my bed...like I was floating!"
I laugh, "You've been having too much candy before bed, Gideon." Then a water balloon his me straight in the face. I gasp out in surprise as Gideon laugh, "Pay back!"
I then sat on the ground, leaning against wall of the house pulled out my soda. Gideon came and sat next to me, "So, Pacifica, I know this is about half of the summer...how are you liking it?"
I smiled, "I'm loving it. Of course there were ups and downs but mostly ups."
"Because you always look to the bright side."
"Not really. I have you to hang out, great family, the journal, the mysteries, the view, the forest, the people, the friends..."
"Friends? Who? I don't see them around."
"Well you silly. Wendy is sort of a friend, the same with Soos. They are fun to talk to...sometimes. Then Tuck and some other adults I met around town. Then Dipper-"
"Dipper Gleeful? You think of him a friend!"
I groan, "Are we seriously going through this again?"
Gideon growled under his breath, "I still don't see why you consider him a friend." I softly shove him, "He isn't that bad Gideon." Gideon shook his head and stood up, "I'm going to get another soda."
"Okay." I smiled as I took another sip of my soda.
Gideon then left.
"Finally he's gone." A new voice spoke up.
I turn my head and could see Dipper leaning against the wall. I smiled, "Dipper!" I then stood up, "It's been a while! It's so good to see you!"
"Yeah, sorry about that. I've been busy with the show and running my family's stuff. Things you won't be interested in.' Dipper explained.
"That's fine."
"Want to hang out?"
"I'm hanging out with Gideon."
"Oh...I see..." He lowered his head, seeming to be hurt.
I sighed, feeling bad for rejecting him like that, "I would love for you to hang out with us but...Gideon wouldn't like it."
"I know."
"Hey Pacifica!" Gideon called out.
"Well I better get going...cousins coming to take over" Dipper replied as he started to walk away. I reached out and grab his arm, "Wait! Dipper! Maybe we can hang out a little bit in the afternoon." Dipper nod his head, "Alright. I can do that" I then smirked as I had a water balloon behind my back. With a mischievous smile, I then threw the water balloon at Dipper. It hit him at the side of his face. Dipper gasps out and pulls away from me, "Blasted!"
I laugh, "Got you there!"
"Pacifica?" Gideon questioned as he was coming.
"You will regret that." Dipper smirked. I stuck out my tongue playfully. Then I shove Dipper away, "Get going before Gideon drowns you."
"Or I'll drown him." Dipper muttered.
"Huh?"
"Nothing!" Then Dipper left, wiping the water from his face. Gideon came around the corner, "Pacifica, who were-" I threw a water balloon at him. Gideon gags at the water. I laugh, "Pay back!"
Gideon smirks, "Alright, you got me there." Then Gideon started to chase me with water balloons and we continue with our fight.
Later in the afternoon, I walk through town. Then Dipper came next to me. I smiled at the sight of him being here with me, "You always seem to find me don't you?" Dipper simply shrugged, "I know this town like the back of my hand. I know all and see all."
I playfully shove him, "This isn't your show you know."
Dipper shrugged, "My life...my show."
"Funny."
Then suddenly a cop car just pulled up in front of us, but it wasn't like a normal cop car. It was completely black with the lights...it looks like a federal car.
"Shoot!" I heard Dipper muttered under his breath.
Then two more federal cars came screeching in, blocking us where we were at. Then armed men came out of the cars, pointing the guns at us. Dipper pulled me behind him. Then suddenly some men just came out of nowhere and grab me and Dipper and pulled us away from each other.
"We got them. Bring them in."
They started to dragged Dipper to a car, "Let me go you worms!" He shouted.
They started to pull me away also to who knows where. "Ow! Stop pulling so hard!" I gasped out in pain.
Dipper heard my gasp of pain and got angry, "You let her go right now!"
They wouldn't.
"I said LET US GO!" Dipper shouted. This time his eyes glowed and the amulet. Then everyone that was holding us floated up in the air. Then all of the men with guns also floated up in the air along with the cars. "Nobody touches me or her, you a-holes!" Dipper shouted.
I was surprise about this. I've never seen Dipper like this...
At the corner of my eye, I saw a man reaching for his gun and pointed it at Dipper.
"Dipper! Look out!" I cried out.
Before Dipper could react, the man shot at Dipper. Luckily it wasn't a bullet but a dart that hit Dipper's upper leg. Dipper gasps out in pain and his knees dropped to the ground. Dipper then pulled out the dart from his leg, cursing under his breath. Then Dipper staggers to his feet and partly stumbles to me. He grabbed my arm and I had to hold him tighter as he was leaning more against me.
"Dipper!" I gasped as I held him up.
Then his powers weakened and the men and cars fell.
"W-We got to get out of h-here." He mumbles trying to get away from the men with me in his grasp. The men were faster though and the men quickly jump on us. They grab Dipper and jerk him away from me. One man reaches and grabs Dipper's amulet and snap it off his neck. Dipper still squirmed in their grips, "Let me go!....G-Give that back!....I'll kill you!...I'll kill you all..."
Then pinned his arms back and handcuff him, "Dipper Gleeful you are under arrest..." Their voices trailed off as they were saying his rights. Dipper didn't even hear all of them as he went completely limp from the dart. They had carried him out to a car.
"What is the meaning of this!? You can't do this!" I shouted.
Then this one guy came up to me. Tall, black hair and mustache, and was in a suit. "I'm Agent Powers, the head of this operation."
"What is the meaning of this?"
"You see, Pacifica Southeast-"
"Wait...you know me?"
"Of course. We have been watching the Gleefuls for a while now and finally they slipped up. Still can't find Stanford Gleeful but we got the rest."
"What have they done?"
"First off, Dipper and Mabel Gleeful are guilty in robbing acid from a government facility."
"What?! That's crazy! They wouldn't do that? Dipper least of all!" I protested.
"Can't stop the facts."
Then Agent Powers snapped his fingers, "Take her also. She may not know information by the sound of things."
"What? No! I want to go home!"
"Sorry Miss Southeast but Dipper Gleeful might have passed on information to you without you knowing. These Gleefuls are tricky like that."
"What! You-You can't do this!" I protested as they shove me into a car and close the door.
Bet you didn't see that coming. Mwahahaha!
