Chapter 22

"I feel so alone without you"

(Next day Abby's P.O.V)
It's 9:40 and we are finally leaving the house. Josh, Jamie and I. That is.
I'm so excited. I haven't been outside in forever.
When I woke up he told me that we are going to the beach.
So I didn't shower. I packed clothes in a bag. I wore my favorite bikini and a coverup. I put my hair in a messy bun.
Josh packed everything else.
We got in the car and drove to a small diner for brunch.
I got pancakes with whipped cream and fresh strawberries. Josh and Jamie getting waffles.
After that we went to the beach.
(Harrys P.O.V)
I woke up wanting to hold it. I was feeling more and more hope.
I got it out of the table next to my bed. Putting it in my pocket and walking downstairs.
The hope disappeared as I got down stairs. Seeing Josh tell Abby about the beach and Abby squealing. Kissing him and clapping her hands.
I sighed sitting on the couch.
By the time they left everyone else came down.
I should be the one taking her to the beach.
The one surprising her with it.
She should be mine. But this virus attached her brain and ruined everything.
I rambled on and one until Louis Interrupted me with a joke. That he thought would be harmless.
If you liked it. Then you should of put a ring on it! Louis joked trying to cheer me up.
I.. I was going to. I said pulling the black velvet box from my pocket and slamming it on the table. Everyone's eyes widening
O...oh. Louis whispered
I wiped the stray tear from my cheek and ran upstairs to the room I'm staying in.
(Josh's P.O.V)
We drove down the rode listening to music and making small talk.
Abby sat down n the front with me.
Jamie stuck in the back.
2 hours of driving. And we finally made it to the beach.
I got the beach umbrella and cooler while Jamie got two beach chairs.
Abby got the beach bag and the last chair.
We set everything up before we all took of running to the the water.

Josh picked Abby up throwing her over a wave as she squealed laughing.
There was a lot of that for a while ago nail they got hungry for lunch. They walked back to the sand plopping into thee chairs.
An elderly women walked past stopping.
What happened to your arm, sweetie? She asked motioning to the bruise on Abby's wrist.
Oh. I shut it in a door. Abby said awkwardly laughing.
Be careful. She smiled walk no away.
(Louis P.O.V)
I feel horrible. I didn't know he was going to propose. I'm a horrible friend.
I sighed running my temples.
You didn't know mate. Liam said
I know. I still feel bad. I sighed
Give him some time then talk to him. Niall suggested
Yea. I will, thanks. Louis smiled gratefully at Niall.
(No ones P.O.V)
We all stayed downstairs and talked.
Harry stayed in his room all day.
It is one 8:00 pm
We reached a txt from Jamie saying that they are about 20 minutes away.
Louis grabbed the box and walked upstairs.
(Harrys P.O.V)
I sat in my room all day. Hiding. I felt horrible.
I sat in my bed. Under the covers. Blinds down lights off.
I stayed there all day.
I glanced at the clock. It read 8:00. Abby still isn't back.
I sighed closing my eyes. But there was a knock on my door.
What? I groaned
Harry? It's Louis. Can I please come in. He asked
Fine. I mumbled sitting up.
He walked in sitting on the bed.
I'm sorry, I didn't know. He said
I know, it's not your fault. I'm not mad. I sighed
You will get her back. I know it. Louis said
I hope so. I sighed
Wh  don't you come down and eat. Louis suggested
I nodded walking downstairs and eating some fruit.
We sat down and talked.
Finally Abby, Josh and Jamie walked through the door.
We all helped put everything away then we all headed to bed early.
