"And Aiden? What did you do to him?"
I bit my lip and hopped on my feet before tugging Liam by hand to get up. I dragged him downstairs and slid the curtains away from window that faced our driveway.
I peeked out and laughed at Aiden's red mustang that was now hidden under sticky notes. Liam pushed me aside to see what was so funny. He couldn't help but snort a laugh at my amazing work.
"Remind me to never cross your path." He muttered and I smirked.
My stomach grumbled in hunger and all smugness slid off my face only to be replaced by embarrassment.
"Did I just heard what I think I heard?"
"Shut up." I grumbled under my breath and he chuckled. I half-heartedly glared at him.
"What happened to never crossing my path?" I narrowed my eyes at him and he immediately choked his laugh, making a smug smile to grace my lips.
"I will go get us something to eat." He muttered and scrambled out towards the kitchen. I made myself comfortable on couch and switched on the TV. I flipped the channels but nothing interesting was on. I groaned and fell back on couch.
"Uh... I only know to make PBJ sandwiches so uh yeah." He rubbed his neck sheepishly as he set the plate full of PBJ sandwiches down on the coffee table along with two cans of Pepsi.
"It's alright. I am hopeless with even them." I shrugged and smiled before grabbing one from the plate. I moaned as I bit into it. "It's amazing!"
His cheeks turned a light shade of pink and I bit my lip to keep myself from embarrassing him any further. He got up and slid 'Avenger' DVD before hopping back to his place beside me.
I smiled.
When did he became such a softie?

"Give us our sister and take yours."
"What is it? Trade fair?" Liam shot back at Asher.
"Your wish." Aiden started to close the window of my room.
"Your sister is here on her own will!"
"Well, Kim too isn't very keen on leaving. Are you, Kim?" Kim looked torn between his brother's hopeful eyes and Asher's hand filled with candies.
"I am enjoying myself." She shrugged and Asher gave her a sour patch kids.
Wow.
"You- you just bribed her!"
"Well she just pranked us!" Aiden retorted while pointing towards me. I pouted and gave him an innocent look.
"Ugh! This is getting nowhere!" Liam whined and banged his head on side wall. I patted his back sympathetically and he turned to glare at me.
Such a sweetheart. Sarcasm heavily intended.
My eyes lit up as I heard dad's car pull over. I squealed and kissed Liam on cheek before thanking him and hopping downstairs. I clearly saw Liam's wide eyes and heard my brother's death threats but I didn't care. Dad was home and that meant that I could be home too.
"Dad!"
"As-whoa! What happened to you?" I enclosed dad into a tight hug.
"I pranked Asher and Aiden because they were being nosey idiots and broke my phone because of their stupid overprotectiveness. I changed all the autocorrects of Asher into random gibberish so when he texted Rose, who by the way is the only person he texts these days, he messed up and ended up looking like a total moron while Aiden's mustang just became a masterpiece of my artistic talent as I pasted all the sticky notes on it in a nice pattern and now they are after my blood. I-"
"Breath, princess. Breath." Dad chuckled as I leaned on him and panted. "I will protect you."
He declared and I beamed proudly as he guided me towards the front door. But even he flinched when the door banged open to reveal absolutely furious twins.
"You. Are. Dead." Asher gritted out and my eyes widened. I looked up at dad with puppy dog eyes and he looked torn. Finally, he tightened his arms around me.
"Get away from my princess!" he tried to growl.
He is literally as scary as a baby panda. Ugh!
"But-"
"Dad, you know, they are holding Liam's sister hostage, since afternoon." I informed him and his eyes widened along with Aiden and Asher's.
"What the-"
"No cursing in my house!" I poked my tongue at Aiden and he growled. "Asher James Parker and Aiden John Parker! Free poor little Kimberley right now! Go and hand her back to Liam and apologize too!"
Colour drained from their faces and they immediately scrambled to get Kim. My dad may be cute as teddy but my brothers are bat shit scared of him.
I love my dad!
