So here's the story I promised you guys and for all those Robin/ Nightwing/Dick Grayson fans, the first chapter is already out there. So I'm gonna work on this story's chapters a little while longer, cuz it's still a bit all over the place. This story is going to have slow updates, sorry. I have two other stories that I have to work on. If I get at least three comments and seven votes in every chapter, I will update. So, I'm not gonna make you wait any longer.
This is where it began.

Percy person's pov
Percy age : 4
I had gotten myself lost in the crowd in Greece( I don't know why I get lost so easily. Maybe I'm short and silent like a dwarf ninja) I decided that I would wait for the guard to find me in an alley by the market. An old lady sat there with something that looked like dominoes with strange signs on it, but I couldn't be sure(if you didn't notice the reference, you should really read Magnus Chase sword of summer. My heart melted for Hearthstone...)I came closer to have a look at it, and she told me to come closer. I made the stupid mistake of doing what she said. Before I knew what came over me, she put a bag over my head and swept me away.
when the bag came off my head, we were in a wet place. I opened my eyes to find myself in the ocean, the lady was able to touch the ground, but it was too deep for me to keep my head above water. I looked at the lady. She had an evil grin on her face. (A/N. Do you think it was Circe, Hera or, do I dare, Gaea? Comment on who you think it is)
She grabbed my hair and pushed my head underwater. I held my breath, because, you know, I didn't know about my gift. My eyes shut and I spluttered, trying to keep myself from drowning. I felt my legs morph into something else. My skin rippled and my legs wouldn't stop touching each other. Almost like a really strong magnet. Finally, my legs couldn't move apart from each other anymore.
The wretch let go of my head and I gasped for air. I opened my eyes and saw the lady smile evilly and she told me that she just wanted to make sure of something, because of the ocean green glint in my eyes, before she vanished completely. I looked down at my legs. It was sea green like my eyes and had a silver glint in it. For a moment, I thought that a fish had swallowed the lower half of my body and I was terrified, but then I tried to move it and I realised that this was part of my body. I had grown a fin.
I nearly passed out from exhaustion and having no oxygen for almost three minutes, but my mother always told me that if I passed out in the ocean, I would die. ( maybe she was trying to keep me from the weirdness that is my life)
I swam to shore and as soon as I knew thati was safe, I passed out.
I woke up two days later in my bed with a piercing headache. When I asked my mom what happened, she told mw that I had caught a flu and that I passed out. I knew it wasn't true. My mom was a terrible liar.
Present time
Percy age: 9
3rd person POV
"Mommy, look at me! I'm a merman!" Little percy yelled when he swam deeper into the ocean with his legs pressed to each other like it was a fin.
"Percy, be careful! There are boulders over there! They will cut your feet open. You don't want to attract sharks, do you?" Queen Sally Jackson yelled back with her face burried in a book.
After that, he swimmed away from the boulders and splashed on around in the ocean until a few hours later when he was so tired he could barely walk to his mother on the beach. When she saw him, she laughed and said," too much fun? Do you want to go home?"
He nodded eagerly. His mother picked him up by his feet and carried him upside down as he giggled in delight. She then put him back on the sand and chased him until they both looked like sand castles.
The walked back to the castle with bright genuine smiles and sprayed themselves with the royal showers outside the castle until they were both clean.
Sally had to leave Percy after that. She had to go sign some papers and let others seek her wise opinion. It was in moments like that when percy felt the loneliest. Once in a while he could be with her and enjoy her company, but then it was just loneliness, paperwork, loneliness, people, loneliness. When he wanted to play with her, she would look at him with a sad face and tell him to go play with one of the maids.
Britney was nice and all, but Percy didn't want to play with her. He wanted his mother.
To him, royalty was always boring. He had a great big house, but nobody to play with in it except the ones who are paid to do it.
No. He didn't want to be alone this time. He wanted to stay with his mother. He could help sign the papers or sit on her lap when she spoke to the people of Greece.
He sneaked to her office and peaked through the door. His mother had a frown on her face. That was the sign that she wss focused.
Percy creaked the door open and crawled to her desk and tugged on her dress.
She looked down at him with a smile.
"Now, what are you doing here?"she asked playfully, picking him up and putting him on her lap.
"I want to help you sign papers. Can I?" He asked hopefully.
"Hmm...I have a better idea. What about you just sit on my lap and be the cutie that you are while mommy does her work?" She asked.
Percy nodded with a great big smile on his face, but then it melted." Can I speak to you while you do your work?"
"You can."
"Yay!" Percy lifted his hands in victory.
The entire afternoon was spent making jokes and telling stories. The queen had never in her life enjoyed work as much as that day. She laughed and tickled him and once she even played with him. And she got her work done as well.
Things like that happened until one day, she sent one of the bodyguards out and Percy insisted on going along. He wanted to see the village for once.
He wore his royal outfit and his best shoes. He brought his own money pouch and wore his white gloves.
Randy, the royal guard, kept the boy close to him at all times. The prince was to walk in front of the guard where he could be seen. The crowd was thick so Randy had to put his hqnd on Percy's shoulder to keep up with the excited boy.
As the guard bought food for the royal family, Percy stood aside to let the man do his thing. He was pretty curious about the market.
Suddenly a hand clasped around his mouth and he was dragged away with muffled screams. When the person came to a stop in the middle of the crowd, Percy glanced a man with a bandanna over his head and an eyepatch. The man looked dirty and his clothes were torn.
"So what now? Wha' do we do w'th em?" Asked the man.
"He's gonna sta't screamin' beta knock em out." Said the man who had grabbed him. A second later, he felt something knock him in the head and he was out like a light.

When percy woke up, he was on a wooden floor. Not only that, but it felt like the floor was moving. He studied his surroundings as soon as his eyes could focus. He was in a cell. In a ship. The brig of the ship.
From past experience, he knew how a ship worked and where everything was. But, he still didn't know where he was. How long had he been out cold? What would happen to the palace guard who lost him? Was his mother safe? Was he ever going to see her again? He was the crown prince. What would happen to the royal family?
What was going to happen to him?
Percy's thoughts were interupted by footsteps coming down the stairs then a great thump and swearing. Percy scrambled into the dark corner in fright.
The man had an weirdly shaped, bad looking teeth. As if he hadn't brushed it in ages.
"Well lookie he'e. He's awake!" The man said.
Percy didn't say anything. He was frozen in fear. His eyes were wide and his mouth was shut in a tight straight line.
"What's yer name, little boy?" The man asked. Percy stayed quiet and gestured to his throat. As if saying that he was a mute. As if he couldn't speak.
The man grinned evilly. " Finally! A quiet slave!"
