"Oh, there you are my lovely Sofia!" the mystery man said. Sofia looked stunned and wasn't able to speak for a few seconds. "Aren't you going to introduce me to your friend?" he continued.
"Uhm... Jessica, this is Smith - my dad."
Jessica extends her hand. "I'm Jessica del Rio. It's nice to meet you, Sir. You are the owner of this resort, right?"
"Is that what Sofia told you?"
"That's what I remember. Am I right, Sofia?" Jessica asked.
"I think... sorry, I'm kind of drunk right now. I don't feel a thing. I need to sober up!"
"Oh, my poor baby girl! Come here..." he grabs her arms gently and gave the helpless looking woman a hug. "Your mom hasn't been treating you right. I'll accompany you to your room now. Just relax, drink some water, take a bath before you face the investigators, okay?"
Sofia nodded and excused herself. Jessica find it weird.
"Is Sofia in big trouble?" the concerned Jessica asked.
"Don't worry about Sofia. She can manage. She'll take her medicines soon." Mr. Smith answered calmly.
"Medicines?"
Before Jessica can ask more questions, Nadia stepped out of the room. Shit. He is here. Why is he here? Is he haunting me? Am I next?
