I walk downstairs to see bradon , he's blushing slightly . Do I look that bad? Maybe I should go change?
" Hi rikki , you look nice . " he said as the blush crept up to his ears . Heh .
" Hey bradon , and so do you . " I said.
He really did look good , and i'm admitting it . He's dressed in a black dress shirt , blue jeans and some plain black and white converes . His dark brown hair was the way it was when I first met him , and his eyes . Those blue violet eyes , they were so entrancing and hypnotizing . He had something in his hand , I look down to see a red rose . Rose! Wait!
A red rose means love! Is he saying that he loved me in a way? I don't know! I'm not the love doctor here! If I were , I'd be giving advice to people who need help with love . But I'm not so , looks like I'm the one who needs help . I'm not gonna bother with it , so I'll just leave the subject alone . There , not so hard . Right? Ugh! Once I'm down the stairs , I stand in front of brandon and look at him . He handed me the rose , and he looked at me .
" It's for you . " he said . " Thanks . " I said . So I just put it in a vase full of water , and I'll put it in my room later.

Then mom shows up , and I look at her bag . Howlie must be in there , oh jeez . " Who's ready for ice cream and a movie? " mom asked . " Let's go . " I said . So we left the house , and got in the car . I sat in the middle back with bradon , his seat is next to mine so he is sitting next to me . Mom gets in the drivers seat , and she she puts her bag in the seat next to the drivers seat .
I bet howlie is sticking her head out of the bag right now , I can just imagine it now . As mom drives the car out of the driveway , I look back at the house . All I can think about is that text I sent , maybe I was to harsh?
But I was only telling the truth , it's true . I do feel that way about the thing! I do want to believe in it , but something is holding me back and I just can't believe! But it's true! Ever since mom told me , I've felt all this pressure on my shoulders! And I just don't think I'd be cut out to be a super hero , it's just so hard! I can't save the world! I can't even fight! I can't do anything! It's just so complicated! Why did mom have to go and make things so complicated? If she wouldn't have told me , then things would be okay!
But now things aren't okay! I'm stressed and i'm pressured! It makes my head hurt! And I can't even think straight! Things aren't like they used to be! And I miss it! This has just messed me up! It's messed my head up! It's all just so complicated! It's complicated! So very complicated! Why do things have to be so complicated? Why! Why! Why! Why!
It's turning up my insides , messing with my head! It's just messing me up! It's messing me up so much I can't think! And I think I'm losing sleep cause of it! I've found little bags under my eyes today!
It's messing up my emotions! It's messing up everything for me! It's making everything complicated for me! It's making things hard! What am I gonna do? I don't know! It's cause things are so messed up and screwed up that it's very , very complicated! It's all screwed up! Why! Why! Why! Why! Why! Why can't I believe? Why can't I think straight! I want to be there fighting with the girls! But I don't have my glitter pact yet , so I can't! I feel like crying! I want to cry!
But I can't , bradon is here . And I want to make a good impression , cause I want a boyfriend . I guess I'll have to deal with my side feelings later , but no crying .
I can't cry , nope . I've got to be mom's brave fearless girl , I've got to be cool . So just try to be happy , even though I'm not . I can pretend , I'm good at that . 😔 . As I look out the car window , and watch the buildings pass by , I feel pressure on my left hand . I feel pain shoot up my arm , I know it's just my hand . But when something touches my left arm , it hurts . Stupid ulric . I wince , but don't show it . I look down at my hand , and I saw bradon's hand on mine . Huh? I look at him , and he looks at me . He smiles , and I smile back at him . I would force a smile since my arm is hurting , but I don't want to fake smile around bradon . It wouldn't lead to a good relationship , and I can't have that .
I lace our fingers together , and enjoy it the for the rest of the ride .
* An hour later *
Were at the ice cream place , and we're at a table . Bradon got vanilla , and I got chocolate . Mom is a table that's like a few steps away , I don't know what flavor she got . I sitting across from brandon , and i'm nervous but not as nervous . Ugh! Why can't I just make up my mind? I don't know! Ugh! " You okay? " bradon asked as he had interrupted my thoughts . " Yeah , just peachy . " I said .
" You were staring off into space weren't you? " he asked . " Yeah , I tend to do that often . That's not a bad thing is it? " I asked . " No it isn't , it happens to me too . " he said . We have something in common! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Calm down rikki! Calm down! Be cool! Be cool rikki! Okay , gripping at myself isn't gonna help me any . So I don't know why I do it , well I'll be over it soon . Hopefully . " So your really into volleyball huh? " he asked .
" Yeah , I have been since I was a little girl . My mom would teach me how to play as I grew older , and I just kept getting better as I pratice more . My mom was volleyball MVP when she was my age at our school , but now I'm gonna try to make it as the schools new volleyball MVP . " I said with a gleamful smile on my lips .
" Well , I'm gonna see if there is any sports for guys that I can try out for . " he said .
Man he's amazing! He's gonna try out for a sport like I am! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! Yay! I'm happy! Nothing can ruin this day! So we continue eating our ice cream until we have to go to the movies .
* A few hours later *
We just got out of the movies , and we're walking out of the theater . The movie was good! It was so good! It was amazing! Love that movie! But when the part of when the evil lady showed up I freaked and clung on to brandon , and then I started mentally freaking out! But what was the most romantic thing when I did that , bradon put his arms around me and kissed me on the head! Plus he said
" It's okay , I won't let her get you . " in my ear! I was then having a " Omg " moment!
I thought I was dreaming , but I wasn't! I was telling myself to calm down and to act cool! And we stayed like that until the movie ended , it was so romantic! I felt like I was in heaven! I didn't want it to end , but when the movie ended the moment had to end as well . I look at my watch , and the time is 6pm . Ulric or one of the others haven't showed up yet , so it looks like we're in the clear! Yeah! Wahoo!
But as we walk to the car , I get a feeling . And it isn't a good feeling , it's a warning feeling . I look up to the sky to see nothing , but how? I know there was something there! Maybe I'm just imagining things , or am i? I don't know and I have no clue . But I've got that feeling! " Why if it isn't glitter sunny , oh I yeah I forgot . You don't have your powers . " someone said . I knew that voice all to well , it was the voice of someone who hurt me . I look up , and see ulric in the sky .
No! Not now! How'd he know? What the heck! No! No! No! " Rikki , who's that? " bradon asked . Great , brandon sees him! Looks like I got some explaining to do , that's just what I need . I look at mom , and she looks at me . " Mom , get bradon to safety . You can come back when it's over . " I said . She nodded , grabbed bradon and took him to safety . Then the girl came out , they surrounded me . " The glitter force , just the girls I wanted to see . Now , where's the pipsqueak? " he asked . And as if on que , howlie comes flapping in . " I'm right here! " howlie said . " Your here to deal with us ulric , not her! " maya shouted .
" It's glitter time girls! " hailey said to the other girls . So they held out they're glitter pacts , and transformed .
I just stood there speechless , cause I keep thinking that it's a bit unfair . But then I realize that it is case I can't believe , so it is fair . So as the girls get ready to fight , a giant volleyball buffoon appeared . Uh oh , this may be up to me . The girls try to fight it , but they're individual attacks don't work . Okay , here goes nothing! I run over to the buffoon , and grab him by the right leg . " Rikki! " destiny shouted . " Leave it to us! " maya shouted . " Get to safety! " victoria shouted . " Go hide! " hailey said .
" No! I'm not gonna leave you girls alone! I'm helping whether you like it or not! I'm just returning the favor! You girls all helped me during you guys battles! So , why not return the favor! But I'll tell ya this! I believe in this stuff! " I shouted back at them . Then all of a sudden , a orange light explosion went off and I'm covered in a orange light . " Huh? " I asked . What's going on! Help!
