I don't remember much of the flight back because I fell asleep. All I remember is someone caring for me and putting me on a bed. The next morning I woke up feeling good and relaxed. I could see that Katy's bed was already made. I looked up at the alarm clock and it was noon. I guess I was really tired, I got up and went to take a long ass shower. I let the water run through my body, I got out wrapped myself, and went to the sink to brush my teeth. I walked over to my closet and pulled out some jeans shorts and a cute little tank top. I went over and grabbed my phone and called my mom.
Mom: Omg! You had me worried sick, you have some explaining to do but I am so glad you're okay
Me: sorry Mom, everything happened so fast, next thing I knew I was on shore
Mom: it's okay I am just glad you're fine, I couldn't afford to lose you
Me: I know I am so sorry
Mom: well I am glad both of you are fine
Me: how are you doing
Mom: I am good, just miss you a lot, the house is quite
Me: I miss you too
Mom: well I am at the shop so talk to you later
Me: Okay, love you mom
Mom: love you too
With that, I hung up and went to the main lobby to look for something to eat. I went to the lunch area and everyone was seated waiting for their food, some already eating. I looked around for the crew, I spotted them, and went over to the table.
" good afternoon sleepy head," said Kevin
" hey guys," I said pulling a sit next to Richard
" you slept well," asked Richard
" yeah I did, how about you" I asked nibbling on some of his food
" same here," said Richard
Everyone was staring at me and Richard, we were so caught up in our little world I forgot about the rest of the crew.
" so what happened while I was gone" I asked
" Nothing really, Katy hooked up with Logan.....and well nothing really," said Jason
I looked up at Logan and Katy cuddling together; they looked up at me and started to blush.
" you guys are just too cute," I said
Our food came shorty and I started to eat, we were talking about what we were going to do on our last day here. I looked up at Richard since he said something to me. He reached out and wiped something on the corner of my mouth. I blushed and thanked him. I looked up at Jason and he was busy smiling at me like he did yesterday.
" so you guys didn't like to fall in love while you were stuck on that island," said Kevin
" I mean cause if it was me and Amy I would have" said Jeff
" we...I....well" I began but didn't know what exactly to tell them
" That would be none of you guys business," said Richard
" yeah right, you're all making googly eyes at each other and wiping her mouth," said Jason
" no, we are not," both of us said
" stop harassing the lovely couples you guys," said Katy
I blushed deep red and tried to change the topic
" so how about we go clubbing," I said
" That would be nice but if only we could leave," said Logan
" We can sneak out, they won't even notice," said Jeff
" I mean Shelly and Coach are kinder getting along with each other pretty well as you can see," said Kevin pointing at them
Coach and Shelly were laughing and enjoying themselves. It was like everyone had found their lovers, I mean look at Logan and Katy and well there is me and Richard. It was uncomfortable talking about me and Richard in front of everyone, I didn't know exactly how to act around him when we were in front of everyone. We finished eating and decided to chill at the pool until clubbing time. I was getting a tan when Jason came over and sat next to me.
" so we going to have that talk," Jason said
" I don't know what you're talking about Jason," I said
" you know dead well what I am talking about Amy," said Jason
" Seriously I have no idea," I said
" Okay so tell me what happened between you and Richard cause poor guy got it bad for you and from what I can see you do too," Jason said
" well we kinder agreed to get to know each other," I said while not making eye contact
" I knew it, gosh! It is about time we all got together" Jason said happily
"We didn't .....well....any ways we are not dating just talking," I said I finally looked up at him, and I could feel a blush coming up
"Same thing, I am glad, cause I have never seen Richard this happy since his mom passed away," said Jason giving me a warm smile
" you guys going to come in or what" yelled Richard
I got up and jumped into the pool, when I was under the water Richard came and wrapped his hands around me and kissed me. We surfaced up and found the guys making kissy noises at me and Richard. We started laughing and playing tag, time went by so fast next thing you know it was time to get ready. Me and Katy left to get changed and so did the guys.
" Amy can I borrow your lip gloss" said Katy
" yeah sure," I said searching for it and giving it to Katy
" so how did it happen" I asked
" What did," said Katy
" you and Logan," I said
" well when I heard the news about all too I was sad and Logan decided to comfort me one thing led to another and all the sudden we started to confess," said Katy
" aw I am so happy for you guys," I said
" what about you" Katy said while raising her eyebrow at me
" it just happened out of nowhere, one minute we are being chased by a huge bird, the next we are making out......we are talking things slowly and see how it would go on," I said cutting the sex scene of course, I didn't want her to know that I and Richard took it that far.
" Finally all two have been denying this for ages now," Katy said
"You're one to talk, it took you....like what...4 years," I said while laughing
We finished getting dressed, and I stood up
" I am going to check on the guys," I said
I went to the other side of the hotel to the guy's rooms, I was about to knock on the door but I noticed it was slightly open. I was about to go in but I stopped when I heard my name.
" so Amy and you..... how did you manage to get into her pants" said Kevin
" you know this means that you won the bet," said Jeff
" well I don't think I want to do the bet anymore, I mean I actually," said Richard but he got cut off by Jason
" dude you got into her pants before any of us did still, but I mean considering how things turned out....." Jason said but got cut off by Richard
" would you guys just shut up and listen..." Richard started to talk, but I didn't stay long enough to listen. I started to walk in the direction of the pool, my heart was hurting so bad, it felt like someone was stabbing it with a knife over and over again. I didn't realize I was crying until some guy asked if I was okay, I just nodded and kept walking. When I was far from everyone I dropped to the ground and started to cry my eyes out. I couldn't believe all the things that happened between me and Richard was all a bet. I trusted him, I told him a lot of things, and he even opened up to me but he did all that for just a bet. I couldn't believe he just used me for sex, but I should have known better. I cried so hard, I just wanted to go home. I just wanted to run away from everyone, how the hell was I going to face him without falling apart? I got up cleaned my face waited until my face looked somewhat decent and then I walked back to my room. I took off my dressed and went to sleep.
" hey Amy are you coming" said Katy
" no I don't feel good, can you tell the guys that I don't feel good, I just got this stupid headache all the sudden, and tell them not to disturb me," I said
" you want some medicine" asked Katy sounding concerned, I felt bad lying to her but I couldn't stand looking at Richard right now neither Jason. I couldn't believe Jason would do that to me, I trusted him I thought he was my friend, but I guess I wrong
" no I took some already," I said
" Okay, you want me to stay with you, I mean the guys could," Katy said but I cut her off
" no it's okay, you go and have fun, it's just a headache, I should be fine by tomorrow," I said
" Are you sure?" Katy said
" yes, now go," I said
I heard the door shut and I started to cry again, so this is how it feels to have your heart broken. I was crying so hard to the point where I blanked out and fell asleep. I woke feeling like crap, I am so glad today was the last day of our trip. I got off my bed and went to take a shower. I noticed Katy didn't return last night, I am guessing she spent the night with Logan. I put on skinny jeans with a white cropped top and brown sandals. I put my hair up in a ponytail, and a little makeup to hide the fact that I have been crying. I was so not going to let some guy make me cry, I packed my stuff. I knew we would be leaving soon, I took my phone and texted Sammy.
Me: Sammy I want to come home
Sam: A is everything alright
Me: no I feel like my heart has been cut out of my chest while I am wide awake, I need to see you and get out of here
Sam: take a deep breath, I will figure something out, when do you get back from your trip
Me: Today, we got class tomorrow
Sam: okay I will see what I can do, just sit still and don't do anything until we get there
Me; okay
I said and shut my iPhone, I was on the edge of crying again, I needed to stay strong, and pretend like nothing had happened. I went downstairs to eat some breakfast, and face Richard. I kept taking slow deep breaths until I got to them. I put on my bright smile.
