“The worst is when you step on a lego…” you sighed looking down, “a lego?” one of the girls asked with her head tilted to the side.
“What’s that?” another asked, “Oh! I think it’s a food, kind of like a waffle! I’m pretty sure my father knows the people who make them…” You could see where the confusion came up, Ego Waffles and Legos. Legos and Egos… They sound kind of the same, soft of?
“Ohhh~” They all ‘oohh-ed’ together happy with themselves they figured out what you were talking about.
“Why would you step on a waffle?” They all turned and looked at you with a questionable look on their faces. You had to hold in your laughter, but failed at the attempt - “No, no. Not an Ego waffle, a Lego. Kids play with them all the time when they’re young.” You nod as you explain what a Lego was with chuckles.
“So, even if my gift to you is the worst you will still be okay with me requesting you again?” The girl asked as she as she fiddled with her fingers obviously nervous. “I’m sure I’ll love it! I just feel bad when you ladies give me a gift and I don’t return the favor…”
“Oh! [M! Name] your company is a gift to us by itself!” A trio of girls sitting on the couch squealed with enjoyment. You smiled at them, “I should say the actually same thing!” your words made the girl explode in pink sparkles with hearts in their eyes.
“[M! N-Name], please accept my gift! I made you a cupcake with love!” She pulled out cupcake with pink whipped cream on the top of it and little red heart sprinkles, it reminded you of a valentine’s day treat. The other girl began to clap as they saw her offer you the cupcake.
You couldn’t help but wonder why they were all so nice to each other when girls on TV would go into a craze when she saw someone ‘flirting’ with the one she liked. You smiled and took the cupcake, “thank you so much! I bet it’s just as sweet as you!” you exclaimed with a smile making her sigh dreamily.
“You ladies are by far my favorite~ but, don’t tell anyone I said that” You whispered to them leaning in as they all leaned in to hear you. You licked the whipped cream off the top of the cupcake, not realizing your actions made most of them swoon over you. It was the best part after all.

[The chapter will actually follow an episode, sort of! O_o! lol]
“Haruhi, you told them you wanted to go to the beach?” You deadpanned as you looked at all the mannequins with swimsuits on them.
“I don’t recall saying that, I think…” Haruhi, muttered in thought trying to remember if she really did mention it or not.
“We brought some swimsuits for you two to choose from, cute huh?” Hikaru said as he waved his hand over the vast selection of “some” swimsuits.
“It’s like a store….” You acknowledged as you leaned over Haruhi to see what book she was reading. Homework, of course… It was science though, maybe you could offer her help later?
The twins started to unintentionally make fun of Haruhi’s flat chest, which actually bothered you more than it bothered her.
“Hey, [Nick-Name]-Chan~ I think, you should wear this one!” Honey approved of a bathing suit the color of Usa-chan, it was a one piece and it was indeed cute. It wouldn’t be all that revealing and how could you say no to Honey when he was looking at you with those eyes?
“Nah! [Name] should wear this one! She has a good body and her curves would look great in this!” The twins chuckled and shoved a two piece white bathing suit in your face. You couldn’t help but blush as they talked about your body.
“NO! SHE WILL NOT WEAR THAT! IT’S NOTHING BUT A STRING!” Tamaki yelled as he fumed at the snickering twins. “YOU TWO STOP HAVING PERVERTED THOUGHTS ABOUT MY DAUGHTERS!” Tamaki went on a rampage as he chased them, the twins however threw a banana peel while they were running and Tamaki stepped on it in slow-motion, halting the argument.
“Whatever, boss.” Hikaru said and shrugged, “I guess we won’t go to the beach.” Kaoru nodded sadly, his eyes looking a bit down cast.
Kyoya pushed up his glasses and cleared his throat, “No, I already made reservations to go to my family’s private beach.” Haruhi’s lip twitched- “damn rich people.” Her words made you laugh lightly.
“YAY! So, we get to go?!” Honey asked as he jumped up and down, “Yeah.” Mori answered him, “Did you hear that Usa-Chan?! We get to go to the beach!”
“Well! What are we waiting for?! Let go~!” You exclaimed as you pulled a wounded Tamaki up from the floor, “To the beach!” He agreed, recovering quickly, making you sweat drop.

“I have to say this isn’t what I had expected, but I won’t complain… Thanks for bring me?” You pouted; the suns reflection off of Kyoya’s glasses almost blinded your eyes! It hurt! Your hands went to your eyes to shield away any more light, “AH! My eyes!”
Kyoya chuckled and continued to write in his book, “Hey! I’m talking to you! Put all this book crap away and come build a sand castle with me!”
He let out a sigh and lowered his book and pen, making you smile with joy. Was he really going to come play in the sand with you?
“No.” He brought the book and pen back up to his face and continued to work.
You looked like you were stabbed though the heart for a second but recovered. “Fine, suit yourself.” You stuck your tongue out at him and walk away, mumbling about how much of a kill-joy he could be at times. Kyoya smiled slightly as you left to ‘play in the sand’.
You weren’t able to wear a bathing suit and neither was Haruhi, so you two just wore shorts and a shirt. You were more active, playing in the sand, playing volley-ball and even splashing in the super shallow end of ocean with some of your regular costumers. Haruhi on the other hand was just sitting under the umbrella for most of the time, until she went shell-fish hunting with Honey and Mori.
“[M! Nick-name]-chan, look at this one!” Honey ran up to you while you were building a sand-castle and showed you a huge king crab. Your jaw dropped and your eyes went wide, “is that even real?!” you asked as he held it up, it was basically the size of a pillow!
Honey giggle, “Of course it is~”
You sighed as you heard Haruhi yell something about ‘eating good tonight!’ You were going to have to eat the icky sea food too… “Come on, [M! Nick-name]-Chan! You can help us!” Honey said clearly excited and oblivious to your now paling skin tone thanks to that crab, or the thought of even eating it.
You nodded absent mindedly and followed his skipping form. “[M! Name]! Look! We’re going to have a feast tonight!” Haruhi smiled showing you the bucket of sea creatures she had collected. She seemed happy about it and you didn’t want to burst her bubble. You smiled and nodded, “Mm, we are, huh?”
“Haruhi~ darling, wouldn’t you say that this crab looks ‘crab-tivating’” Tamaki asked while holding up yet another huge crab, “Oh, yeah.” Haruhi giggled and turned her attention back to her huge bucket of sea creatures. Tamaki blushed and mumbled about how cute she is until a centipede came walking out of the crabs shell.
The girls all ran groups away yelling “CENT” … “AH” … “PEDE”
“HOW COOL!” You exclaimed forgetting that the crab was even there as you watched the bug crawl. Tamaki turned white and stayed frozen in place as you let the bug crawl onto your hand. Sure it could be hazardous if it bit you, but the poor thing seemed harmless.
“[M! Name] you should be careful.” Haruhi said as she plucked the bug off your hand and tossed it into the rocks. You sighed, “I was fine,”
“We didn’t peg you as a bug loving type, [M! Name].” The twins said as they casually put their arms over you. “And Haruhi, don’t you think you could’ve gone easier on the little thing? That throw was pretty rough…” Kaoru
“Oh please, it takes a lot more to kill a bug, he’s fine.” Haruhi muttered looking to the rocks where she had thrown the bug. “True, besides they’ve lived on earth for over 430 million years, a throw to some rocks won’t kill it.” You agreed nodding your head.
“oh wow, they’re amazing.” The girls all came back, “so brave, yet so kind.” Hearts were flying all over, the twins quickly retreated going to Tamaki you could tell that they were plotting something, soon the whole host club was nodding in agreement. So, they are all in on it?!

Next thing you knew you were walking through a cave. The cave itself had the ambiance of a classic horror movie. The water would echo though the cave making it sound like it didn’t have an end.
“This is the place, the most haunted spot in this city. Even the locals won’t come here.” Kaoru started the story; you were always a far of horror movies, even ghost stories! Just the thrill of it made your heart start to race.
“I was told that you could only find this cave at low tide,” Hikaru moved his flash light scanning the area.
“They say many people have died here.”
“But, their souls aren’t at rest so they haunt any who dare to enter!!” Hikaru rose from the background wearing what looked like a white table cloth, holding up wooden arms. Trying to give off an evil laugh, which just sounded funny. The girls that were tagging along screamed and ran out of the cave.
You laughed, “You two suck, and here I thought this place was really haunted!” You began to pout.

“Okay, police people! Please, lower the door!” Honey mock saluted them, “Yes, sir!” The door quickly fell making you gasp at the loud noise it made. You were smart enough to put two-and-two together, you knew by now what they were doing.
They wanted to know if you and Haruhi were scared of anything. You sighed and leaned against the trucks cold wall, you were sure Honey would flip out any second now. You covered your ears just in case.
“WAH! IT’S DARK AND SCARY IN HERE~ I CANT BREATHE! I CANT TAKE IT ANYMOREE~! LEMME OUT!!” Honey yelled, that didn’t last long at all…
“H-Honey-Senpai! What’s wrong?!” Haruhi asked, trying to calm him down.

Mori shoved a harpoon at Haruhi’s face the moved it slowly towards yours. You were once afraid of sharp objects, but that was when you were a little kid scared of shots.
“No.” You mumbled quietly shaking your head. Mori sighed and moved the harpoon back over to Haruhi, “Um, Mori… You’re my Senpai not a Sentai…”
You couldn’t help but laugh, ‘nice pun, Haruhi…’ you thought to yourself.

“This game sucks, it’s like they don’t fear anything. What kind of girls are they?!” Hikaru asked completely fumed. You popped out of a bush with a red-black-yellow snake hanging around your neck, yelling “BLAH!” making the twins hold each other and tremble. You giggled, “Got you two~”
“Here, this is the only non-poisonous snake I found. See his markings? Since the red and black are touching colors, he’s a friend~! ‘Red and black, friend of Jack. Red and Yellow, killed a fellow.’” You sang the rhyme, and they both looked at you awkwardly, you put the snake down and it slithered away.
“Of course we have fears, everyone does. I’m terrified of fire, but then again most people are.” You laughed and walked over to Haruhi who was collecting even more nasty sea creatures…
“Don’t you think we have enough? We’re going to eat like kings.” You laughed seeing Haruhi with another full bucket. “I couldn’t help myself.” She smiled.
“Haruhi, [M! Name]! Come up here! The breeze feels amazing!” Called a girl in a trio of girl who giggled and agreed.
“Be careful! It’s dangerous up there!” Haruhi yelled back, Haruhi went up to tell the girl to get down. You went up after you heard the girls scream. You were up within seconds, you saw the three girls all holding each other, a little teary-eyed and two guys who probably think that they’re the shit.
One guy had a hold of Haruhi’s collar and was calling her a “punk”, which in your mind is the lamest name to call anyone but seeing how he forcefully brabbed her…
“I’ll give you two a chance to run, but if you don’t I will hurt you.” Your jaw began to hurt from how much force you were clenching your teeth together, you kept you eyes closed.
“Ohh! We have a badass!” the other guy exclaimed as he took his hat off. “3” you started.
“What a punk! Get him!” The guy that was hold Haruhi let go of her, you held up 2 fingers. “20 seconds, that’s more than enough time to take you two down. I just want to toy with you two for harming my friends.” You smirked and opened your eyes as you ran towards the one who held Haruhi.
He threw the first punch; you simply dodged his weak attempt to hit you. He was just throwing his fist around like it was a slap fight with a cat or something. With all their big talk you were sure at least one of the two knew something.
You chuckled “Oh, you got me all worked up for nothing~” You said kicking him in the stomach sending him flying over the cliff screaming.
“Damnit all… I lost my cool…” you mumbled holding your head, laughing lightly.
“Ah! Are you ladies alright?” You asked sending them a smile, “Yeah! We’re fine!” they all agreed. “Thank you!”
“Hey loser! Looks like you forgot about this one here!” the last guy yelled as he shoved Haruhi off the cliff, your cool composer that you regain was lost in a heartbeat. The girls ran away and the guy was laughing in triumph for what he did.
With one look at you the guy stopping laughing and screamed- you punched him in the face knocking him out, and jumped into the water hoping that Haruhi was alright. Once you hit the water you heard another splash. When you opened you eyes you saw Tamaki and he pointed up, you nodded and swam back to shore.
“[Nick-Name-Chan]” Honey was the first to run up to you, “Are you alright, [Name]?” Kyoya asked, you looked away “yeah, I’m good.” You felt like you had let not only yourself down but Haruhi as well. You let your guard down and completely forgot about the second guy. Of course he wanted revenge you basically round-house kicked his friend into the middle of the ocean.
“Haru-chan!”
“Where’d they go to?” Tamaki asked, “I asked them to leave, it was difficult to get everyone off them but they left. I always called a doctor and he should be here soon.” Kyoya stated as he looked at Haruhi for anything the doctor might want to look at.
“I don’t need a doctor you guy, I’m fine.” She muttered, not liking the fact that they were doing too much for her. “I want the doctor to look at your hand, [Name].” Kyoya said, but to you it sounded like you could object. You smiled softly at him, “thanks.”
“Why did you even do such a thing, Haruhi? You have no fighting skills, what made you think you stood a chance against two guys?” Tamaki asked he held onto her shoulders while looking her in the eye.
“It doesn’t matter that they’re guys and I’m a girl.” Haruhi started, “I had to do something.” She was now glaring at Tamaki.
“She’s right, what was she supposed to do, Tamaki? Leave the girls up there while she ran and got you or someone for help? Who knows what would have happened by time help would have arrived.”
“Look, that’s no excuse! Don’t forget you two are girls!” You shrugged; it’s true men are built differently than girls. They have more muscle mass if they know how to fight, lucky for you those guys did not. Haruhi became irritated and took Tamaki’s hands off her shoulders.
“I don’t understand why you’re so mad at us Senpai, I don’t think we did anything wrong!” she raised her voice. You didn’t want to choose sides and you wouldn’t, but you could understand where they were both coming from. Haruhi is right because what kind of person would you two be if you guys left the situation and ignored the girls in danger and Tamaki is right too because when you two put yourselves in danger everyone else was worried.
“You didn’t do anything wrong? You don’t think so? Fine, but I’m not speaking to either of you two until you guy admit you were wrong!” Tamaki said calmly and walked away, you sighed and smiled walking with him.
“Tamaki, please don’t be mad at her, just at me. If I didn’t let my guard down none of this would have happened!” Tears began to find their way to your eyes this was the first time you felt alone around him, you truly feared this feeling. “Tamaki, answer me please…” your voice cracked trying its best to hold back the tear.
You heard him sigh, “Come on, the doctor needs to look at your hand. It looks a little swollen.” He lightly pulled you through the mansion you were staying at for the night. Even though he did talk to you, that alone feeling was still present.
“Alright, here’s the doctor, have him look at your hand.” Tamaki began to walk away, just by hearing the footsteps grow harder and harder to hear, the pain in your chest grew.
Just by one decision you made? If Tamaki isn’t open to forgive and forget why were you still with the host club? You back leaned against the wall for support, you slid down it and cried.
You feared being alone, that walk with Tamaki made you tremble.
“I’m sorry for making you guys worry!” You yelled, your words bouncing off the walls echoing.

Your night wear was cute; it was a [color] dress with [color] lace at the bottom of it. The dress stopped right under your knees and it even had a bow in the back that matched the lace color! Since it showed your even cuter [favorite animal] slippers, you couldn’t help but smile when you opened up the door to the dining room. Thankfully one of the elderly maids was kind enough to walk you there; otherwise you’d be lost….
“Wow! [Nick-name]-Chan!” Honey exclaimed, “Your slippers are so cute!”
“Well, let’s eat now that everyone is here.” Kyoya smirked when he saw your face “I’m sorry! You guys didn’t have to wait!” You apologized.
“Of course we did, it would have been rude otherwise.” Kyoya added, pulling out a chair for you. You sat down thanking him.
Minutes passed and nobody touched their food, you weren’t sure if you should melt at the silence or laugh at the silence. All you knew is that you felt a lot better with everyone around,
“Well, this is awkward.” Hikaru stated
“Yeah, really uncomfortable…” Kaoru added, making you laugh lightly.
“Let’s dig in? Haru-chan these are the crabs we caught today, I bet they’re good…” Honey was trying his best to push away this nasty silence, but nobody was helping.
Haruhi was the first to break open a crab leg, and just the sound of it made your skin crawl. She was by far a gross eater, every time she would take a bite she would make a noise with her mouth like “Wahh” or just “ahh” maybe you’re just now realizing it because of the silence?
You broke one open and flinched at all the stuff that came out. “Have you not had crab legs before, [Name]?” Kyoya asked, did you have that look about you? “I haven’t.”
“You don’t have to eat it if you don’t like it.” He said, “but give it a shot.” He added.
You sunk in you chair a bit, “yeah…” and so you did, nothing has changed though you still hate sea food. As soon as you took the bite you grabbed a napkin and spit it out. Then another napkin to vigorously rub the taste off your poor tongue. You did all that without disrupting the peace of the table at the other end. Instead of sea food you ate the other things on the table like water and ice for the next 15 minutes.
“Don’t you think you’ve had enough, give it a rest?” Tamaki asked completely horrified at how much Haruhi had eaten.
“Excuse me? I thought you weren’t talking to me.”
“Oh snap!” You laughed making Tamaki glare at you, but he stopped when you glared back.
“Okay fine! I get it! You two still refuse to admit that you were wrong, see if I care! Kyoya, can you show me to my room?” Tamaki walked off taking Kyoya with him who agreed to show Tamaki his room. Once they left the room you got up too, “I’m off to bed too. I had fun today.” You smiled and told everyone goodnight.

Surprisingly you found your room rather quickly. The room was probably as big as your house; it was a bit much but still nice. You sat on the bed and sank in from it begin so soft, you sighed. You didn’t understand why Tamaki is acting the way he is acting.
‘I said I was sorry.’ You thought to yourself, leaning back letting the bed pity you with its softness. Remembering the quiet walk with him made your eyes start to water again, he made you feel so alone.
Alone.
You got under the covers and let your tear fall, you were quiet no need to make a scene out of this. You gripped one of the pillows tightly holding in more cries. Why were you getting so worked up over something so small? Tamaki would surely come to his senses and forget about everything! That’s what Tamaki is best at anyways! If he was mad at both you and Haruhi why was he only giving you the harsh silent treatment?! … maybe you were looking too far into this.
‘I should go see if Haruhi is alright…’ you told yourself and slowly got out of bed to get some tissues before heading to her room. Right when you reached out to grab one you heard the door knob turn, you thought it was one guys and dove for the bed and under the blankets. You did not want to worry them about you crying again, you already did that once when you told them about your past.
Maybe that’s why you’re so scared of being alone though? You once we not alone then you work up one morning and everything was taken away. You hated that feeling so much. You even hated going to your own home at times it felt so empty.
“Hey, I know you’re awake. What are you doing under the covers?” came the voice of Haruhi, your eyes widened when you heard her. Was she worried and checking up on you too? You sighed knowing even if you didn’t come out from under the covers you had been caught. You rubbed your eyes trying to get rid of the tears and came out. Thankfully the lights were off and she was still pretty far away.
“I was, uh, counting sheep.” You could either thank your not so fast wit when you’re sad or Haruhi’s book smarts not street smarts for that one. “I actually wanted to come apologize to you for today.” She started as you narrowed your eyes and threw your cover off walking up to her.
“Tell me Haruhi, did Tamaki put you up to this?” You asked her, you weren’t mean about it but more motherly, which even surprised you.
“No, no! The rest of the host club just told me that they were worried about us and you already apologized about making them worry and I just wanted to say more of a thank you rather than a sorry, I guess, I mean, I was the one who started the fight basically and you came and helped me when I needed you the most, so thanks?” She blabbered on, looking a bit flustered that she even said anything. They must have heard you yell your apology then.
You giggled, “Wow, Haruhi~ I never knew you could have such a run-on-sentence.” You teased, placing you hand on her shoulder “Don’t worry about it. I’d do it again anytime if I had to.” You smiled, which she returned. Now that you two were close she said something,
“Have you been crying?” She asked, examining your face. You didn’t answer her, but your smile faded. “[Name], have you been crying?” She asked again, this time a bit more sternly.
You nodded, “I was, but it was over nothing, really.”
“What happe-?!” Haruhi gasped when a flash of bright light lit up the room followed by a loud ‘BOOM’ making you jump a bit too. “Haruhi, are you okay?” You asked leaning in closer to her concerned.
“Hey, where are you going?” You asked as she walked to the tall wardrobe and climbing in it, you sighed knowing what was happening. You closed the blinds so no light would flash in the room and pulled out your iPod and a good book you brought just in case the beach called from so light reading, in a rushed hurry. You opened the wardrobe’s door and handed Haruhi an iPod. She couldn’t make use of the book in the dark…
“[Name]?” Your lip twitched at the sound of the voice, Tamaki’s. You ran to the door, “what?!” you asked rushed, “Let me in” you didn’t have any time to decline his offer, he opened the door.
“Well?” you asked, not looking him in the eye. You knew for a fact that if you did, you would probably cry again.
“Everyone told me that you apologized,” he started, “look at me, [Name.]” He demanded softly,
“No.”
“No?!” he exclaimed, “Why?!” He cried, seemingly upset that you wouldn’t.
“Why?! Why, because you made me cry, Tamaki! You made me feel alo—”
“Aha, Hey! [Name]! It’s actually working!” Haruhi exclaimed from inside the closet, making you smile and Tamaki sweat-drop. You heard the iPod’s music from inside the closed doors, making you sigh.
“Haruhi is inside the wardrobe?” He asked, truly confused. You nodded, “What business does she have in a wardrobe?!” He yelled.
“…You know, there’s a book and a movie that answers that question in full detail. She’s obviously looking for Narnia, duh.” You answered with a smirk looking at the wardrobe. As if you’d tell anyone that Haruhi was terrified of lightning and thunder.
Tamaki looked at you thought the corners of his eyes; did he really make you cry? He felt bad now, he was being more harsh towards you only for the fact he thinks you’re a stronger character. He could never do any of the things he does with you to Haruhi, she would probably hate him.
You felt arms wrap around you tightly, making you gasp. “I’m sorry, [Name]. Will you forgive me?” he asked, as he held you for a bit longer. You were mad at him for not going the ‘forgive and forget’ route, you would just be mad at yourself if you told him no.
You hugged him back, “Of course, even though you did hurt me.” He tried to pull away, but the tears came back and you didn’t want him to see so you held onto him.
He sighed, understanding and hugged you back. “How?”
“The walk to this place …. so cold. You make me feel …. alone. I’m afraid.” You weren’t sobbing but pretty damn close; the teardrops were even hitting the floor! You thought that only happened in movies! None of what you said made sense to Tamaki, you were so upset you couldn’t even form a correct sentence.
“Afraid of what?” He asked, he thought that maybe if he helped you with your fear you might forgive him without the hurt.
“You made me feel alone! I’m afraid of being alone!” you yelled into his chest, was he really that cruel to you? He just didn’t talk….
“[Name], you’re never alone though. You’ll always have the host club,” Tamaki didn’t sound so sure himself, you weren’t alone at all though!
“No, I can’t promise that… but, you will always have me.” Your grip on him lightened up, and Tamaki gave you a tissue, which you thanked him for. “What I said was true, [Name].” He said, you looked up to him. Your teary eyes meeting his royal purple ones, you couldn’t help but smile making him blush.
“Thank you, Tamaki.”
“So cute~!”

Tamaki had helped you clean up, meaning he kept apologizing while you washed your face. Of course all this was done in a rush; Haruhi was still in the wardrobe after all! You kept reassuring him everything was fine, and it was now that he was himself again. Once he left you went and opened up the wardrobe.
Haruhi didn’t seem as tense at all really, but you could still tell she was thinking about the lightning and thunder. She opened her eyes, “Hey, [Name]! It’s working!” She yelled over the music, you laughed and shook your head holding your hand out to her.
At first she hesitated to take it but did and climbed out of the tight space, the iPod still on full blast. Throwing a puzzle book on the floor you turned on the lights, and grabbed all the pillows off the bed and tossed them to the floor too. Haruhi smiled at what you were doing and turned down the volume of the music.
“Let’s do a word search while the storm passes.” You said smiling you belly flopped onto the pillows, making the feathers fly out. Your mouth fell to the floor, “I’M NOT THAT HEAVY!” you yelled at the pillows.
Haruhi sweat dropped at your response to the falling feathers; maybe just maybe storms weren’t as bad when someone was with you, Haruhi laughed as she jumped onto the pillows too.
[Okay, yeah. I know, I totally stole Tamaki/Haruhi’s ‘first romantic scene’ from the anime, kinda but! There’s a reason for me doing so! D: I just didn’t want to go though the one-sided love story for Tamaki when the time comes to write his result, in the future! XD Call me LAZY! So, everyone that has feelings for you is now everyone except for Kyoya (He does like you, but he just needs more love xD)~! So, guess who the next chapter will be based around?
