New Years Eve
"So what's the theme tonight?" Hailey asks me. "There isn't one." I say with a smile, We were in the kitchen making a Champagne Sangria, Alec and Bolton had taken the boys to the supermarket to buy some bits for tonight. "Will Kassie be coming?" Hailey asks me. "I think so. I do miss her." I say with a small shrug. "Are you going to tell her that?" Hailey asks chuckling. "No way." I say with a smile. The buzzer rang loudly through the house, I walked over to the phone answering it. "Hello?" I say. "Hi Mrs Royal, Miranda and Jeff are here." Sylvester says. I smile. "Send them up." I say. "Okay ma'am." Sylvester says, he hangs up. I walked in to the living room to check on Mason, he was fast asleep in his crib, it rocked slowly and played a lullaby. Aubury watched cartoon's on the television and the twins were in their play pens. The door knocked so I quickly opened it before it woke him up. "Hi!" Miranda says with a bright beam. "Hello!" I say with a smile, she walked in followed by Jeff, Ty, Evie, Max and little Alfie. "Where's Eli?" Alfie asked me. "He'll be back soon." I say with a smile. Miranda hands me a bowl. "We made a vodka Jelly." She says with a grin. "Great." I say carrying it in to the kitchen. I put the bowl in the fridge. "Hailey meet Miranda, Miranda this is my cousin-in-law Hailey." I say with a smile. "It's nice too meet you." Hailey says and they shake hands. The front door opens, Alec walks in followed by Bolton, the boys, Lynx and Spencer. "Babe they didn't have any of those little cakes." Alec says carrying in bags. "Ah Jeff, Kids." Alec says with a smile. They all come in to the kitchen. "Miranda." Alec says with a smile. He places the bags on the counter. "Jeff do'ya want a drink." Alec says grabbing a pack of beers. "Sure." Jeff says smiling. Lynx grabs another pack of beers out the fridge. "You coming?" He asks Ty. "Sure." Ty says with a smile. "Where are you going Uncle Lynx?" Jett asks. "To the basement." Lynx says with a smile. "Don't break my games." Jett says. "We wont." Lynx says grinning. "Alfie!" Eli calls as he runs in to the kitchen. "Eli!" Alfie calls back. "Do you wanna play with my toys?" Eli asks. "Sure." Alfie grins. They quickly disappear upstairs. "Jett why don't you take Max to the game room." Alec says. "Okay come on Max." Jett says with a smile. Mason's cries filled the hall, I quickly went to him, lifting him out of his cot, I carried him back in to the kitchen. "OMG a baby!" Evie coos. "Yeah he must be hungry." I say with a smile. "Can I feed him?" She asks. "Sure. Do you want to take him to the living room and I'll bring his bottle." I say. She squeals as she takes Mason, she carries him in to the living room. I grab the bottle and quickly I heat it up. "Are you okay?" Miranda asks me. I smile. "I'm fine. Have you got a drink?" I ask her, She holds her glass up with a grin. "Okay. I'll be right back." I say with a smile. I quickly walk in to the living room, Evie sat next to Aubury. "It's like baby city." She says happily. I smile handing her the bottle. "This is Aubury and you remember the twins." I say smiling. She beams as she feeds Mason. "Can I stay in here with them?" She asks me. "Sure, I'm pretty sure there will be kids your age coming soon." I say giving her a small smile. She grins back at me as she feeds Mason. "I'll be in the kitchen if you need me." I say to Evie. "I'll be fine but thanks." She says.
In the kitchen Alec, Bolton and Jeff were sat as the bar drinking beers. "Don't overdo it." I say walking past Alec, he smirks. "Would you like me to make you ladies a few cocktails before everyone arrives?" Alec says walking behind the bar. "Sure, after all, your cocktails are the best." I say. "Gross." Bolton says. "Why do you have to be so disgusting?" I chuckle hitting Bolton's arm. Jeff chuckles. Hailey and Miranda walk over to the bar. "Alec's making cocktails." I say with a smile. "Ohh great." Hailey says sitting down. "Mommy can I have my Ipad?" Aubury asks walking in. "Sure." Hailey says smiling as she walks over to her bag, she pulls out a Ipad in a pink case and hands it to her. "Careful." Hailey says smiling. "I will mommy." She says skipping back in to the living room. Hailey walks back over and sits at the bar. "Is she your only child?" Miranda asks."Yeah, she is." Hailey beams. "Oh I remember when Ty was born." She says with a smile. "I said he would be my first." Miranda chuckles. Alec pours the cocktails in to three glasses. "Here you go ladies, an Alec special." Alec says with a wink. I chuckle while taking a sip. "You've out done yourself Mr Royal." I say with a smile. "Only the best for you sweetie." He says leaning over the bar to kiss my lips. "This really is amazing." Miranda says looking at the glass. "You've got that right." Hailey says smile, Alec shrugs. "What can I say?" He says. "Did you hire a bartender?" I ask him, Alec nods. "He should be coming in about an hour." Alec says looking up at the clock. "What if guests arrive before then?" I ask him. "Well I guess this Alpha will be serving drinks." Alec says with a smile. The buzzer rings again. "I'll get it." I say walking over to the door. "Hello." I say in to the phone. "Mrs Royal, your parents and brother is here." Stanley says. "Okay thanks." I say hanging up. I open the door and I wait. In the distance two cars drove in. I smiled as they parked outside, the Valet took their keys. My mom, Dad, Theo, Cooper, Jordan, Phoebe and her parents got out the cars and walked to the house. "Hello Olivia." The boys say. "Hi boys." I say smiling. "Where's Jett?" Cooper asks me. "In the game room." I say smiling. "Okay, I'll catch you later." He says running to the game room. "Where's Eli?" Theo asks. "In his room." I say taking his coat. "Okay thank you." He says climbing the stairs. I take their coats and I put them in to the coat closet. "Hi mom." I say hugging her, my dad hugs me aswell. "How are the boys doing?" I ask her. "Great, they've settled in well." My mom says smiling good. "How are you Liv?" My dad asks me. "Good actually." I say smiling. "She's been drinking." Jordan chuckles. "I have not!" I shriek. Jordan smiles. "Alec made a few cocktails." I say smiling. My mom chuckles. "Oh damn it." Phoebe sighs. "What's wrong?" I ask her. "I love his cocktails." She huffs. We all chuckle. "No drinking if your carrying the future Alpha." Phoebe's dad says with a smile. "I know dad." Phoebe says with a smile. "So when's your old man getting here?" Clayton asks. "He should be here soon." Alec says smiling. "Ah I thought I heard you." Lynx says coming from the basement, he and Jordan 'bro hug'. "Is that little Spencer?" Clayton asks. "I'm Lynx actually." Lynx says smiling. "Man have you grown." Clayton says looking over at him. "Uncle Clayton?" Lynx says. Clayton nods. "Me and Spencer were talking about you a few days ago, I'll get him." Lynx says disappearing back to the basement. "They've grown since the last time I saw them. Where does the time go?" He says wrapping his arm around Clarise's waist. She smiles. Lynx and Spencer both appear. "I told you." Lynx says to Spencer, he smiles. "Clayton, Clarise." Spencer says smiling. "Wow look at you." They says. The twins smile proudly. "Can we borrow Jordan." The boys say. "Sure Phoebe says smiling. "I'll be back soon babe." Jordan says kissing Phoebe. They all disappear in to the basement. "Can I go take a nap in the guest room?" Phoebe asks. "Sure." I say smiling. She heads upstairs. "Do you wanna come through to the kitchen." I say smiling. They follow us through. Glasses of champagne were next to the champagne Sangria we made. "Would you like a drink?" I ask. "Sure." They say all taking a glass. Hailey, Miranda, Jeff, Alec and Bolton chuckled as we walked in. "Look who it is." I say smiling. "Clayton, Clarise, Mom, Dad." Alec says smiling. He walks over to us and hugs my mom, shakes my dads and then he does the same with Clayton and Clarise. "How you doing Alec?" Clayton asks. "I'm fine thanks." Alec says with a smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you both." Clarise says smiling. "It's a pleasure meet you both as well." My mom says smiling. "You've raised an amazing daughter." Clayton smiles. "Thank you." My mom says beaming. The bell goes again. "I'll get it." Alec says kissing my head. I smile. "Shall we." I say showing them in to the dining room. Hailey bought in a few more drinks while I headed in to the kitchen. Miranda hands me a drink. "You look like you need it." She says. "Thanks." I say smiling. I take a large gulp then I place the glass on the side. I hear Alec's chuckle so I decide to see who it is.
He hugged his dad while his mom stood beside them. "Hi Liv." Luca says with a smile. "Hi Luc." I say smiling. Kassie stood beside him while River walked in behind them. "Hi River." I say smiling. "Hi Aunty Liv." He says. "Jett's in the game room with Coop." I say smiling. "Okay thanks." He grins running in to the basement. "Is Alley and Ade coming?" I ask Alec. "Nah." Alec says smiling. "Dad someone's here." Alec says smiling. We head in to the dining room. Clayton and Clarise Chuckled at one of my fathers fishing stories. "Well if I live and breath to see another day." Arthur gasps as a wide grin slowly appeared on his face. "Arthur Royal." Clayton says standing up spinning around with a wide grin. They 'bro hug' and chuckle. "What brings you down here?" Arthur asks. "Little Phoebe's found her mate." Clayton smiles proudly. "Ah who?" Arthur asks. "Jordan." Clayton smiles. "Ah he's a great kid, he'll be a gooden to the pack." Arthur smiles. "I know." Clayton says smiling. "It's been a while right." Arthur says they disappear back in to the dining room. "Just like the old days." Agnes chuckles. "right." Clarise smiles. Hailey hands my mom a champagne. "Thanks." My mom says smiling. Luca walks in and slaps Alec's back. "Ow." Alec says. "Oh stop whining." Luca says. Clayton's head popped up, his grey eyebrows raised. "Is that little Lou?" He asks Arthur. "Not so little any more. Dude who is this guy" Luca whispers to Alec. "Alpha Clayton." Alec says. "Ah." Luca says. "So tell me about Lou. Is he still a terror?" Clayton asks Alec. "He's got a little boy who he has been raising since he was first born. He's an amazing kid. And he's got another one on the way with Liv's sister." Alec chuckles. I glare at him, Luca hits him again. "Sorry bro." Alec shrugs standing beside me, my glare deepens. "I'm sorry babe." Alec says putting his arm around me, I push him off. "You ass." I huff angrily. "Sorry." Alec smiles cheekily. "Congratulations." Clayton says to Luca. Luca grins widely. "I'll grab a beer for us Luc." Alec says walking over to the fridge. "I think you should slow down." I say folding my arms across my chest. Alec smiles. "It's new years eve baby." Alec says pulling the fridge doors open with a boyish grin. "2016 baby" He says as he opens the can taking a large swig.
I walk out the room leaving the mighty Alpha to drink himself in to oblivion while I checked on the little ones. Evie sat cuddling a sleeping Chloe. "She fell asleep about ten minutes ago." Evie whispers smiling. I chuckle. "Do you want me to put her in her crib?" I ask her, Evie nods her head. "I didn't want to carry her in there." She says. "It's fine, sorry." I say lifting Chloe up, I cradle her as she stretches her chubby arms. "It's okay Luna." She says smiling. "Call me Liv." I say with a smile. "Mom!" Colton called lifting his arms. I place Chloe in her crib and I lift Colton. "Are you okay?" I ask him smiling, he nods. "Papa!" He calls pointing to the kitchen. "You want to see Papa?" I ask him, he nods. "Okay, let's go." I say carrying him towards the kitchen. "Thanks Evie." I say as we leave. I carry him in to the kitchen, where I heard my father's voice. "When she was little she always was an amazing kid. I'm proud to be her father." He boasted to Arthur & Clayton. "She's great person, she really made my Alec in to a great guy, especially after the accident." Arthur says smiling. I clear my throat. "I thought my ears were burning." I say as I carry Colton in. "Ah, they speak so highly of you, even your brother." Clayton says smiling. "I am pretty amazing." I say gushing. "You've got the ego to match." Clayton chuckles. I smile. "Papa!" Colton says holding his arms out trying to get out of mine. My dad takes him. "Hello little guy." My dad says smiling. Colton crawls to the middle of the table and smiles at my dad and then at Arthur. "Papa!" He says to both of them. "Where's Chlo?" Arthur asks him. "Sleep." Colton says pointing to the living room. "Why aren't you asleep?" My dad asks him. "No Sleep!" Colton says kicking his legs. "Alright buddy. No sleep for Colton." My dad says smiling. Colton smiles cheekily. "He's a right terror." Clayton chuckles. "Just like Alec." Arthur says smiling. "Ah I remember 'taz'." Clayton says. They both erupt in a fit of laughter. "Taz?" I repeat. "Yeah, that was everyone's nickname for Alec." Clayton says. "Why?" I ask. "After the Tasmanian devil, the one from looney toons." Arthur says. I chuckle. "He was a nightmare." Clayton says with a smile. "Jett wasn't too bad." I say with a smile. "When he was two he used to strip wherever we went, malls, park, even at daycare." I say chuckling. "Really?" Arthur says. I nod. "He managed to get out of the habit somehow but it was pretty much everywhere." I say chuckling. My dad smiles, but there was a face he made, a face I knew well, pain. I decided to stop talking. "I didn't even know you was here papa!" Jett says running in followed by Eli. "Papa!" They say with a smile. They both hug My dad and Arthur. "What have you boys been doing?" My dad asks. "Well I was in the basement playing play station four with Lynx, Spencer, Jordan and the other guy, Ty. But they're cheating." Jett says folding his arms. "How?" I ask him. "Everytime I score first they restart it." He says. "Shall I get your dad to put the other play station in your bedroom?" I ask him, he nods. "Please mommy." He says smiling. "Okay hun, stay here with your Grandpa's." I say smiling as I walk in to the dining room. "Alec!" I call in to the crowd. "Chug chug chug chug!" The crowd around him cheers. Alec sat at the table opposite Luca while they down what looked like the fifth can of beer. Alec slams his can next to the pile while reaching for another beer. "20 seconds left." Jeff says as he counts down. I sigh walking out. "Daddy's busy sweetie shall I do it for you?" I ask him. "Don't worry hun, I've got it." My dad says standing up. "Let's go Papa." Jett says leading my dad out. "Mommy I'm tired." Eli says looking up as he rubs his eyes. "Where's Alfie and Theo?" I ask him. "They fell asleep over my bed, now I can't get in." Eli says. I look up at the clock, it was getting pretty late. "Okay, I'll put them in properly." I say smiling. He nods. "Are you going to be okay with Colt a second?" I ask Arthur, he smiles with a nod. "I am you go put him to bed." Arthur says smiling. "Okay, I won't be a minute, I'm going to put Chloe in to her cot as well." I say smiling. "Okay dearie." Arthur says with a smile. "Okay, be good for papa." I say to Colton. He smiles. I take Eli's hand and I lead him to the living room where Chloe was still asleep. "She'll be out for the night." I say to Evie who smiles. The door bell rings. "Do you want to get that, it'll be some of the others." I say smiling. "Okay." Evie says smiling as she walks over to the door, I lift Chloe out and I take Eli with my spare hand, I take Chloe to her room and I place her in her cot, I switch on the baby monitor and I take the receiving part. I cover her over and then we walk in to Eli's room.
Theo and Alfie laid diagonally across the bed. I smile as I put them in bed properly. "Do you wanna sleep on the top bunk tonight?" I ask him, he nods. I lift him up and I place him in the bed, I cover him over and I kiss his head. "Night mommy." Eli says. "Night sweetie, sweet dreams." I say smiling. "Happy new year." He yawns. "Happy new year to you to honey." I say closing his door a little. I carry the baby monitor down the stairs as I am greeted by the rest of the pack. "Happy new year Luna." They all say. "Happy new year to you all too." I say smiling as the waiters bring out drinks from the kitchen. I head in to the kitchen to where Arthur still had Colton, I lifted him up. "Say n night papa." I say to Colton. "N-Night Papa." He waves as I carry him through the crowd and back up the stairs. Once in the room, his eyes slowly closed, I laid him down in his cot and he drifted off to sleep, I covered his stomach with his blanket and then I headed back down stairs. "Quick it's time!" My mom calls from downstairs, I came rushing down followed by my dad. The boys had came up from the basement as we all surrounded the TV. "10 9 8.." We all counted. "5 4 3 2 1 HAPPY NEW YEAR!" We all cheered, the boys childishly blew on their horns and my mom pulled a party popper. Alec swooped me in to his arms and kissed my lips. "Happy new year." He says to me. "Happy new year to you too." I say smiling. "Happy new year hun." My mom says cuddling me. "Happy new year to you both too." I say hugging my mom and dad. "I'll be right back, I'm going to check on Jett and the boys." I say smiling. "Enjoy." I say running up the stairs. "Happy new year!" I say as I open Jett's door. The boys sat around the TV playing the game. "Happy new year mommy." Jett says smiling. "Happy new year Aunty Olivia." River says smiling. "Happy new year boys." I say smiling. They all smile but they don't take their eyes off the screen. I quietly sneak out. A hand covered my mouth and pulled me in to the bedroom, I couldn't see who it was but I could smell him. The door shut and he let go, I heard the door lock and I took a moment to regain myself. "Happy new year Liv." He says walking closer, he holds my chin tightly and kisses my lips roughly, his grip tightened. I tried to pull away but he held my face until it hurt, I finally got the strength to push him away, I then quickly run to the light switching it on. Ashton stood there with a smirk in his hand was the key for the door. "Alec's downstairs." I warned him. "Alec won't hear your screams." He says grinning as he walks closer. I quickly move away from him. "Stay away." I say. "I can't." He says honestly walking closer. I look to my side, there was a vase. He walked until he was in front of me, I was backed against the wall, a vase to my right. "Alec won't hear your screams." Ashton says burying his head in to my neck, he inhales deeply, I quickly grab the vase smashing it over his head. He falls to the floor and I grab the keys quickly bolting out the door. I close the kids door while I quickly run down the stairs. There was arguing and screaming coming from the kitchen. "She's Mine!" Ty's voice deepens as he and Luca stand face-to-face. Kassie on one side. "Boys!" Alec's alpha voice bellows over them. "Alec." I call scared. His eyes snap in my direction, he pushes past everyone. "What's wrong?" He asks. "Ashton, he's here." I say, tears streamed down my face, Alec lifted up my chin. "Did he do this?" He asks. I nod. Alec's face drops and he storms up the stairs, everyone went silent while I follow behind him. "Where?" He asks. "The bedroom." I say. He opens the door, it was empty, the window wide open. Broken glass was all over the floor. "Everyone Out!" Alec shouts walking in to the hall. "But Alec?" Luca says. "Out Now!" He snarls standing face-to-face with Luca. "Come on Alec You don't want to do that." Luca says with a cocky tone. That pissed Alec off, his fist connected with Luca's face and he went crazy. Punching him everywhere. "Alec!" I call grabbing his arm, he couldn't hear me, he lifts his arm up and it hits me in my face. "Ow." I cry. Alec stops and spins around, he looks at Luca then looks at me holding my face, he then looked at the crowd, his father shook his head. He then leaves, grabbing his keys and his coat slamming the door behind him. The room was silent for a moment. I realize Luca laying on the floor bleeding. I quickly head in to the kitchen grabbing him a kitchen towel. "Please could you all go." I say quietly. "We need to check your face." My mom says. "No, just get out!" I scream pushing people out the door. "The kids are asleep. Collect them tomorrow." I say as I push them all out the door. "I'm not going anywhere. Phoebe, go with your parents I'll be home tomorrow." Jordan says as he fights my pushing. He lifts me over his shoulder closing the door. "What happened?" He asks me. I explain to him. "Shit." He says looking at me. "We better get something for your face." Jordan says walking in to the kitchen. "I'm fine." I say. "You really don't look it." He says from the kitchen. I sigh laying back on the sofa. Jordan hands me ice wrapped in a towel. I held it on my face. "He didn't mean it." Jordan says sitting on the end. "I know Jord." I sigh. "Where do you think he's gone?" He asks me. "I don't know Jord." I say looking at the sky. "Oh Ty's Kassie's mate." Jordan says. "Did she reject him?" I ask. "No." Jordan shrugs. I sigh. "I told her." I say shrugging. "I know Liv." Jordan says smiling. "Do you think Alec's Okay?" He asks me. "No." I say honestly. I laid on the sofa waiting for him to come home, my face hurt a little but I know Alec was hurting more. He would never forgive himself and I know that this will be the start of his own self-destruction.
