Bad or Good

As I walked down the hallway I saw Callie walk out crying so I stopped her.
"Torres meet me on the roof in 5 minutes" I said
"Ok chief" she said watching me walk into the room
"Derek are you ok" Meredith asked
"Honestly I don't think so but I don't see why we can't fight it and get through it together" I said helping her off the chair
"I know it's just so scary, you know its a few days till Christmas and just this burden over our shoulders isn't good for us" she said resting her head on my chest
"Well I'm meeting Callie up on the roof in a few minutes so why don't you wipe those tears up and join us" I said as she wiped the tears
"I love you Derek" she said as more tears streamed down her face
"I love you too Mer but if you keep crying I will lock you in a cupboard" I said making her smile
"Oh yea I forgot Shepherds don't cry" she joked taking my arm as we walked out and towards the roof.
We got to the roof and were greeted by Callie.
"Callie I am so sorry for shouting at you earlier I was way out of line I was just angry" I said
"Derek no need to be angry anymore the tests were wrong my interns accidentally mixed them up you don't have a tumour the mass was just your knee it has swelled a bit so you need to come off that leg for 3 weeks I'll give you a wheelchair and you stay in it or you sit on the couch, floor etc ok" she said and I felt relief
"Ok thank you Callie" I replied hugging her then Mer as Callie walked away.
As we were hugging I got a text from David.
"Flight just landed we'll just catch a cab to yours" it said
"No me and Meredith will come get you we'll be there in 15 minutes" I replied
"We have to get David and Jen from the airport" I said and she nodded
"Ok let's go"
We went back to the lobby where Callie met us with the chair and handed me over to Mer.
