"Is it necessary for you to flirt with every girl you see?" I sighed on the drive home. He shrugged his shoulder lightly, "I was just getting us out of that situation. Anyway you don't like when I flirt with you"
I shook my head with a sigh before he continued, "But yet when I flirt with other girls you aren't really happy about it" I turned to him, raising my eyebrows, "How so?"
"Tina said how you go all grump with Eva an-"
"Who's Eva?"
"Evangeline" My brow furrowed when he told me this, "Oh... since when did she have that nickname?"
"I don't know, her name's long" Xander grinned when I frowned.
"Why does she get a cute nickname while I just get a dogs nickname..."
"Well I own you so you're kind of like my dog" My jaw dropped and when he saw my reaction her burst out laughing. I folded my arms across my chest, my jaw tightening while I shot him a glare. When his laughter finally died down he turned to me, "I'm just kidding. I just enjoy your reaction when I call you it"
"Do you get pleasure out of teasing and making fun of me? You're such a sadist" He shrugged at this, "You didn't seem to mind it in bed"
I mocked his exact words but in a high pitch voice. He didn't even bother looking at me just rolled his eyes, "See when you mature up, that's when I'll stop using the nickname Millie" I gritted my teeth together. I was way more mature than him.
We pulled up in his drive slowly before bringing the car to a complete stop. I turned to shoot him a death glare but froze when I noticed him watching me, a soft smile on his lips. My brow furrowed and after a second I spoke, "What are you looking at?" The words came out a bit more hostile than they were meant to be.
"Something sexy" I bit the inside of my cheek immediately to keep myself in silence, before shaking my head slightly. I was worried.
Usually if a guy would compliment me I'd be all annoyed or tell him to buzz off. I'd be disgusted by them but I suppose it was because the majority of the time they were old men or just plain pervert weirdos.
Xander was a weirdo... and a pervert... kind of. Yet when he complimented me, my heart always fluttered, it always excited me. My face would get hot and although I'd brush it off and act like I didn't care I secretly wanted him to say more.
Of course I was to stubborn to admit that.
If I was being completely honest... in the past when Xander teased me, when we were younger, I hated it. I despised him. I wanted him to just leave Tina and I alone and forget about him forever. The delight I felt when he suddenly disappeared although something felt missing at that time.
I had no one to match my arguing standards.
When I first met him at Henry's house, the sick feeling in my stomach, was horrendous. It got all the more worse when he had told me he was buying me, taking me away from Henry. I had never been so annoyed at him before, taking me away from a life that I could finally be happy in.
But now, in the present time, I'd be lying if I said I didn't like it. It would hurt me almost if he wanted a new maid, or if he gave me back to Henry. I knew for some reason I'd miss his annoying áss. He had changed, yes, but his old annoying self was still there and slowly I realized I missed that.
"What are you thinking about?" He pulled me from my thoughts which formed a frown on my face, shaking my head slightly. I let out a soft sigh before opening the car door and placing my foot out the door then hauling my body along after, "Just something dumb"
He copied my actions as we both shut out doors in unison. "Care to inform me on these 'dumb' thoughts?" My eyes met his when he asked it and I had to blink twice to understand his expression. It was like he knew what I was thinking about and he just wanted me to share my thoughts.
I thought about it for a minute before shrugging and glancing away, "I was just thinking why they make doughnuts round, like is there a proper reason for it?" I was actually quite surprised at how truthful I sounded. I hadn't paused or even debated on what to say.
I looked over to him, to see his reaction but there was none. For a split second his expression was blank, his lips in a straight line before nodding slowly, "I see" His voice was doubtful, "What an amusing thought" He didn't believe me.
I sounded pretty honest.
I brought my hands and placed them in my jacket pocket as we entered the house, Xander locking it behind us. "Milania" I turned to him, raising my eyebrows, not able to help myself at being surprised by my full name. I was used to Millie or even Milan.
"Hm?" As I waited for his response, he almost seemed to be debating whether to continue before he slowly walked passed me but I quickly caught up to him.
"Were you serious?"
"About?" I had said or asked a lot of stuff. He couldn't just ask was I serious... oh the doughnut thoughts. I had thought it sounded like a good lie but I guess some people see right through me.
"Your virginity" I almost spluttered and choked on my own saliva when he said that. My eyes, I'm pretty sure were wider than the grand canyon as I stared at him but he didn't even bother to turn back to look at me once.
"What the hell do you mean my virginity?! You don't believe I'm a virgin?" I was slightly offended. Was he saying I was loose, that time we- you know what never mind. I heard him let out a weak sigh as he entered the kitchen, almost debating whether to continue.
He now turned back to me then leaned up against the counter. "I know you're a virgin moron" He eyed me, "I'm talking about when you wanted me to take it"
Silence.
No wait, not silence.
Thumping.
I could literally hear my heart beating quicker, I thought it was going to just pop out of my chest. My breath hitched before I finally managed to nod my head, yes. He seemed to be thinking in his mind, not saying any words.
"W-why?" I stuttered out like an idiotic school girl with a crush. Did he change his mind, was he actually going to do it? He looked like he was about to speak when the doorbell rang.

I literally wanted to kill the person at the door, did they seriously have to ring now, of all times. Out of all three hundred and sixty five day in the year? Out of the twenty four hours of the day? Out of the bloody eighty six thousand four hundred seconds in the day?!
A frustrated look crossed Xander's face as he looked on to the door before looking down to me, a small smile forming on his lips. "Have you noticed?" He paused, "Every wtime we seem to talk about something important or sexual, someone happens to interrupt us. Like that time when you were about to-" I knew where he was going so I cut him off by raising my hand to silence him.
"Go answer the door"
He chuckled lightly before brushing past me, toward the door. I headed toward the fridge, deciding to whip up something quick for Xander to eat, he was probably hungry. I heard the door open as I pulled out some ingredients, bringing them to the counter.
I couldn't help but be curious and the low murmurs that were continuing. I was curious who it was. A few seconds before I went to see who it was I heard an excited squeal..Tina? She couldn't be released from the hospital already.
I placed down all the ingredients before, walking and exiting the kitchen entering the hall. My heart dropped at the sight... the scene that was unfolding in front of me. I lost my breath, it felt like a kick to the gut, my heart hurting instantly.
I tried to pretend I didn't know why it hurt but I did. I couldn't help but to feel the sickening feeling course through my body as I watched Evangeline and Xander kissing.
