Marie's POV
"I don't know what to say" I answered
"It's okay if you don't feel comfortable"
"Do you like me or something?" I asked confused
"Y-Yes I think I like you Marie" I was totally shocked
"How can you like me? I mean look at me" I asked almost about to cry
"First of all, you are beautiful and I like your eyes, your smile, and the most important, your personality"
"You realize that, my eyes are dark brown almost black and that I have braces? And that I'm black and you are white" I snapped
"Those dark brown eyes make me wanna drown into your eyes and those braces show me that you are in the process to have a beautiful smile. And for the black and white thing, it doesn't matter, as long as I like you, your color is not important to me"
"Aww Cameron that's so sweet" I said wiping my tears.
"Now let's go do our scenes and go home" he said getting up and grab my hand.
*Next day*
Val's POV
Today was the day and I was really nervous. I hoped that Marie, Cam and Nash would come tonight. I got into the shower and then wore a sport bra with a hoodie on top and some yoga pants. I grabbed an apple when I went downstairs and took my uber. When I arrived there, I could see that Hayes was more nervous than me.
"Hey are you okay" I asked approaching him
"Yes? No actually I'm not okay"
"What? Why?" I asked concerned
"Because I'm scared that I'll mess up the dance or even worse that I'll make you break something."
"Aww Hayes it'll be fine" I said hugging him for 2 minutes that felt like an hour.
"Okay kids, today is the day that you two will show how to dance to those people out there and with that choreography, it'll be easy." One choreographer said
"Now let's go" the other choreographer said and we started.
Marie's POV
Today was the second day of filming and the show of my best friend and her 'boyfriend'. I was excited and nervous for them and I can't wait to go see them tonight.
I got up and took and shower and threw on a sweatpants and a light blue shirt. I knew there was supposed to be food on set so I just went to take the über.
When I arrived on the set, I went straight to the food area but I bumped into someone.
Nash's POV
"OMG I'm so sorry" Marie said bumping into me without even looking up
"It's fine" I said smiling
"Oh, hey Nash, it's been a long time no see"
"Yea how are you?"
"I'm good thanks and you?" She said walking toward the food and I followed her
"Great, like everyone knows, I'm dating Jess now" I said excited
"Yes, I know and I'm so happy for you"
"Ok. Well see you around" I said before walking away. The thing is I still like her but I can't tell her cause Cameron likes her so I have to keep it to myself.
Marie's POV
I was taking my food to my trailer when I saw Cameron. I turned around to walk the other way but too late.
"Hey Marie" Cameron said walking towards me
"Oh, hey Cameron"
"Um, I was wondering, if you'd want to be my date tonight" he said scratching the back of his neck nervously
"Yea, sure I mean why not" I said smiling
He had a huge smile on his face. He then kissed my cheek and said "I'll come pick you up at 7:30" I nodded and he left.
I didn't know I was smiling until I got to my trailer and looked at myself in the mirror. I started eating cause I was so hungry.
Val's POV
"Okay let's do this one more time" the choreographers said but the thing is we did that a million times now and we were exhausted.
"Can we take a break please" I asked them breathing really loud
"Okay ten minutes"
"OMG how many times do we need to redo it" I asked Hayes while taking my water bottle
"I guess until it's perfect" he said with a smirk
"If we continue like this, I think I'll die before tonight" I said laughing
"You look cute when you laugh" he said looking at me
"Aww shut up" I said playfully hitting his shoulder
"It's true" he said leaning in and I found myself leaning in too
We got interrupted by the choreographers walking in and I suddenly jumped.
"Is everything okay here?" One of them asked
"Yea yea it's fine" Hayes said trying not to laugh
"It's not funny" I said before getting up and starting practicing.
Cameron's POV
I was so happy that Marie said yes to be my date tonight. But now it was time to go act. I got to the scene set and saw that Marie was watching so I waved at her and she waved back. After my scene I went to go talk to her.
"So how was it?" I asked her
"It was okay" she said laughing
"Okay? Only that?"
"I'm joking, you were great" she giggled
"Thanks" I said hugging her. Every time we hugged or I get cheek kisses, I get the feels and it feels really good.
It was now 6:30 pm and the director knew that Marie and I had to go to the show so he let us go and we took different ubers.
Marie's POV
I got to the hotel and got a text from Val.
Val💗: I'm already there and I'm getting dressed up
Marie💜: Cameron will come pick me up soon so see you there
Val💗: ok, c ya
It was now 7 pm so I had 30 minutes to get ready. I hopped in the shower and took about 10 minutes. I got out and wore a pink dress with black high heels. I curled my hair and for the first time since forever, I wore eyeshadow with eyeliner and lipstick. I was totally smoking.
It was now 7:30 and I got a text from Cameron saying that he was in the lobby, so I headed downstairs and when he saw me, I could swear see his mouth touching the floor.
Cameron's POV
When I saw Marie coming in the lobby, I thought I was seeing an angel.
"You look WOW!" She giggled
"Aww thank you, you don't look too bad yourself" I took her hand and headed to the über.
When we got there, we greeted everyone and introduced Marie to everyone and then went to take our seats. Nash was there with Jess, Nash's mom was there with Sky.
Nash's POV
When I saw Marie, I couldn't get my eyes off of her and thank god no one saw me. Even though I like Jess, I still have feelings for her. The show was starting.
Hayes' POV
"Are you ready? It's almost our turn" I asked Val
"No I'm not" she said nervously walking back and forth taking deep breaths
"It'll be okay, just relax"
"I don't know how" she said stopping in front of me
"I know how." I place my hand under her chin and make her face me. After that, I put my lips on hers and I could feel that she was calming down. It felt good to finally kiss her after last time practicing.
Val's POV
That kiss was as perfect as the others. We finally pulled away.
"You for sure know how to relax girls" I said smiling
"Only you" he said looking at me in the eyes.
"It's your turn" a person backstage said to us so we went on the stage and the lights turned on. We started dancing and putting everything we had out there (dance on top)
After dancing it was time for the scores.
"Wow Hayes I think you chose the right girl to dance with you" the animator said to Hayes and everyone started laughing.
"So judges what are giving to that dance?" Everyone was silent.
