'School's finally finished!!' exclaimed Alex joyful.
'Let's do something interesting tonight!' proposed James.
'Mmm, something for the birthday boy... You're 18 now! Legal and all!' continued Alex always thinking with James.
'It's okay guys, I'm okay...' I tried to say.
'No, no don't start! We're proposing it and I won't take no for an answer. You already miss all the school parties even when you're so popular!' my best girl friend commented while raising an eyebrow.
'I'm not popular!' I scoffed.
'Yeah right...' said both of my friend at the same time.
'I know let's go to the new club that just opened a few weeks ago!' James exclaimed proud of him.
'We are still 17, James... Only our little birthday boy here is 18.' remarked Alex.
'It's okay, I checked! They let everyone 16 and older in. We just can't get alcohol...'
'It's decided then! We will go there and maybe...' Alex stopped talking an gave a knowing look to James.
This one gave it back, like they were knowing something I didn't. I sighted.
'What is it?' I said sighting again.
'Maybe... You'll meet someone, you know? Maybe... A potential boyfriend?' added James wiggling his eyebrows and finished the rest of his sentence next to my ear, so I was the only one that could hear.
I shivered at that thought.
'Maybe...' I said lowly looking away trying to hide a blush.
'Hey brother! Why are you all red?' said Jess who just arrived.
'Nothing. Anyways, where have you been?!? We waited for more than thirty minutes for you!' I said in a more angry tone.
'Hey, relax. I had something important to do!' she said trying to find an excuse.
'Like what?' I said at her no trust in her at all.
'Well ummm...' she looked around always trying to find something.
'I know you're lying Jess, just tell me the truth already.' I sighted while shaking my head.
'The popular group just invited me to his party tomorrow night! And then the girls asked for you to come too, but then you know the other boys kind of opposed to it, you know how jealous they are, and...' she started talking and talking.
'Alright, alright. I don't care if I was invited or not, I won't be coming. Let's go, it's late already.' I said while taking a look to my cellphone.
'But, Matt...' Jess started again.
'No, but. I'm not coming.' I answered starting to walk toward our house.
'Alex! Please help me!' she was now doing puppy eyes to my best friend.
'I'll try...' she finally said after moments of hesitation.
'Hey! Why didn't you ask me?' teased James.
In answer to that, my sister just put out her tongue at him. I sighted when I saw that. To think she was my twin sister who was also eighteen years old...
It wasn't long before we went home. Alex was going at her home first, she lived only two blocks away and James was going to stay with me. We agreed to meet at my house at 7:30 pm in order to go to the club later. Now, what should I say to my parents for tonight? Should I lie? Tell the truth? I sighted.
I unlocked and opened my door house and went in with James and Jess just behind me.
'We're back!' I shouted for my mom to hear.
'Welcome home to both of you!' answered my mother from somewhere in the house.
I went to the living room and put my things on the couch. I easily spotted my mother in the kitchen and went to kiss her on the cheek.
'Hello, miss Hunter! Sorry to intrude.' said James.
'Oh, James welcome! How was your day boys and where's Jess?'
'I'm here!' my sister answered and went to give her a kiss in the cheek too.
'Hey sweetheart. Are you guys hungry? I made some pasta today.'
'Mom about tonight...' I started hesitating.
'Yes what about tonight?' she asked stopping what she was doing and looked at me.
'Matt, Alex and I are planning to go celebrate his birthday! Alex and I have some surprise for the birthday boy.' finished James and the last part was said to my mother ears so I couldn't hear what he was saying.
'Well, if it's like that then go ahead! Just don't come back home too late okay honey?' exclaimed my mother beaming of joy.
'You don't mind it too much do you? I know it's my birthday, but I thought you had something already planned for us or something... So, it's really okay?' I asked trying to apologize.
'No, no it's okay! your father and I planned something for tomorrow so it's okay! Go ahead and have fun! However, I don't want you coming back drunk, had sex and made a poor girl pregnant okay?' she scolded.
I heard Jess and James stiffing their laughers and I gave them an angry glance. My friend stopped, but my sister continued to laugh. I would have to do something about her later... I sighted.
'I promise mom.' I finally answered.
She nodded in answer and went to reach the house phone which has been ringing for a few seconds now.
I turned around and saw my sister still out of breath, I took her arm and leaded her to our living room, I kindly pushed her on the couch and sat on her. Both of my legs were at each side from her waist and I was sitting on her legs. I waited for her to calm down. It was only after a while that she did.
'Calmed down Jess?' I asked like I wasn't on her.
'Get down of me!' she struggled while trying to push me down, but failed.
'Well I don't know if I should or...' I was now looking at her belly.
'No! Please Matt don't! Anything, but that! Please!' she begged with wide eyes when she discovered what I was going to do.
I looked around and saw that mom was still on the phone and James well he was watching already laughing like we just made the most funny joke ever.
'Why? You like to laugh, so i'm just going to help you.' I said with an innocent smile.
'No, please... Matt I swear if you do that HAHAHAHAHA! Stop!... S-stop!' she started to laugh while trying to escape my fingers that were tickling her.
II continued to tickle her and i didn't stop no matter how she many she was begging me.
'Come on Matt, no matter how much I like to watch you tickle your sister, we don't have much time left.' said James who stopped to laugh, but were still smiling.
I nodded and let go of my sister who was still panting. She sat up and gave me a glare that could only mean revenge. I smiled and winked at her before following James upstairs.
When we reached my room, I closed the door and sat on the corner of my bed.
'Let's get you dressed man! Maybe you should take a shower first and I'll choose your clothes for tonight.' he suggested,
'How about you?' I asked.
'Don't worry, I'll shower after you and borrow some of your clothes. Don't worry, I have my own boxers, if you were going to ask.'
I shook my head while sighting. I sense that it would be a very long night. But, it would be really great, if I could meet someone there. Who knows, maybe it would end up in a long term relationship?
