The Grey Reality

Stage 1

I had just found the note from Derek but I can't find him and I'm freaking out. I go for 1 nap and Derek disappears.
"Callie have you seen Derek" I asked
"Yea about an hour ago he came and told me to be an excellent chief and tell Mer I'm sorry... I got so confused" she replied and my heart dropped
"Callie could you watch Chris I'm going to go find him"
"Yea sure I'll stay at your place just so he has his own toys"
"Ok" I said running out.
Derek's POV
"Derek why don't you go back you have a wife and a baby you can't just get up and leave" my mom shouted standing with Nancy and Kathleen
"Ma I don't deserve to be loved Meredith deserves someone better someone better than me someone who doesn't have the weight of people's lives on my shoulders" I said
"Derek grow up" Nancy said
"What?" I asked
"Grow up you idiot you have a family you can't just get up and leave when life gets hard get your act together" Kathleen said slapping me and walking into the kitchen
I got up and stormed out getting in my car and driving away.
