A/N: This task was to be written as a poem or in another creative fashion. I chose to write it as a poem and I titled the actual poem "In My Dreams..."
Breakdown, ghosts, weakness, memory
Heartbeat, adrenaline, exhaustion = me
I'm running for my life, as fast as I can.
I run towards the shadow, he is my friend.
"You're worth nothing, you don't deserve to live"
The words causes anger, anger that won't let me forgive.
Nor let me forget, all of the horrors I have face to face, met.
You expect me to be fine, you expect me to be superb and well.
Neither of you have any idea, of the stories that I can tell.
I don't really want to, remember the things that I have gone through.
The memories hold on to me, won't let me go,
like a wild bunch of hands that won't let go of my throat
I stop, my body trembles, now that I'm facing all of the terrors
Heartbeat, adrenaline, exhaustion = me
I open my eyes to realize again, they were all there:
The breakdowns, the ghosts, the weaknesses and the memories
Back inside my dreams
