After about twenty minutes of talking to Cam my taxi arrived that I had ordered when we landed. I told him about what inspired me to
become a photographer and my family and childhood. But I wasn't quite ready to talk about what had happened to my parents, I just
told him that they had passed. We exchanged numbers and I went into the taxi.
"To where?"
"West 42nd street please."
"Sure. First time in New York City?"
"First time anywhere actually but I'm loving it here already."
"So you visiting someone?"
"No I'm moving here."
"Oh congratulations!"
"Thanks."
I looked out the window to my right and saw the big buildings and flashing lights. Times Square. It's more beautiful than anything I
have ever imagined it would be like.
"Woah."
"Ya I know right. Well we're here."
"Wow I'm so close to Times Square!"
I got out of the taxi and was mesmerized by everything around me.
"$20.50"
"Huh? Oh, here you go. Thank you."
And my journey begins...
