The fundraiser day turned out to be a much bigger success that we thought. We had so much going on that it ran for an extra two hours. Thankfully a lot of the volunteers helped to clear up, so it didn't take too long. We'd managed to raise enough money to give me back what I'd spent on material and clothes for the introduction, have some spare to make much better programmes for the audience and judges and for us to upgrade our end of year summer ball.
I was in the car with the girls heading back to mine. Thankfully there hadn't been any new xoxo messages floating around today, it would have been the last thing I needed to see or hear whilst running round like a blue arsed fly making sure everything was running smoothly and everyone was having fun.
"So I've been thinking..." Ayla says and we all turn to her as she lowers the volume of the new Rita Ora track.
"Don't hurt yourself babe." Lois giggles and Ayla reaches over and smacks her legs lightly.
"Bitch." She chuckles before continuing "As I was saying, I was thinking about all this xoxo bullshit you've been getting Lyd."
"Okay..." I say leaning closer to her driver's seat. "What about it?"
"Well whoever is behind this is obviously listening into your life somehow, especially with some of the messages they've put out recently."
"Where are you going with this Ay?" Georgia asks
"Well what if it's someone we know and trust?" she mumbles but we all hear her.
I glance at the Georgia and Lois and shrug, "I'd hope not because everyone that knows this stuff about me I love and trust, but I guess it could be, but who?"
"I duno, I've just been trying to get my head around everything. Well we all know it's none of us in this car..." she says and they all nod vigorously.
"I hope it's not crossed your mind that it could be any of us?" Lois asks and I shake my head.
"Of course not, I trust you girls with my life you know that. We've been best friends for almost twenty years; I wouldn't doubt you for a second."
"Good. You know we've all got your back Lyd." Georgia smiles pulling me into a side hug.
"And well we know it's not Ash right?" Ayla says
"Of course it's not him. You should have seen him last night when I told him about the picture that was posted, he was livid. I honestly thought he was about to punch something, I've never seen him so protective and angry. And he's my best friend and boyfriend guys...he'd never do that to me."
"We know. So who else knew about everything that's been leaked lately about you?" Georgia asks
"No one I don't think. Obviously Elliot and Marcus know bits from what they hear at lunch and whatever you's talk about during class." I say turning to Georgia.
"We don't actually speak that much anymore, with all the rehearing we've got to do there's barely time for a quick swig of water never mind chatting." She says, "And I think he's still slightly embarrassed with the whole kissing me drama."
"So do you think that he could be behind this? You did cheat on him and he does know a lot about you and knows about your tattoo." Lois says and I sigh.
"Well he never got the chance to take a photo of it, not that I've have let him so I don't know how he'd have that if it is him. But I honestly don't see him doing this, Elliot isn't a malicious person, it's not in his nature to do something like this to someone."
"That's true." Georgia agrees.
"Marcus then?" Lois asks
"Maybe, I mean I know he wasn't my biggest fan towards the end of Elliot and mine's relationship but other than that we've be fine. I think he's happy now I'm not with Ell and he's not showed any animosity towards me. We don't talk that much about personal stuff around him anyway, so he wouldn't know about some of the stuff that's been posted." I sigh in my seat just as we pull up at mine.
"Tina?" Ayla says and I laugh
"Well she did come to my mind, after everything she's done to me and my relationship with Ash so far. But when I mentioned to Ash that I think it's her behind all this and he insisted that she was innocent. That he honestly thinks she's a changed person and that she wouldn't do this because it would hurt him through hurting me."
"What utter bollocks." Lois chuckles as she closes my front door.
"That's what I said...but what can I say to him." I say shrugging. "But I don't know how she would know about any of this stuff either. We don't exactly talk whilst she's around."
"Okay so who else could it be?" Lois says as we make our way to my room.
"Well we all know Rachel has issues with you," Ayla says and I nod.
"That's true, she's definitely got a dislike for me and if her 'revenge' of getting with Chase whilst I was sort of with him; and then if her getting off with Elliot is anything to go by I'd say her. But I just don't know how she'd know about this stuff. That's what stumping me; we know who could be behind it but not how."
"How about with this?" Ayla says walking straight up to my electronic photo frame.
"What about it?" I ask as she unplugs it and walks over to my bed with it as we all sit down.
"Well it was a gift from Seth right?" she says and I nod.
"Yea for all that shit he put me through."
"Well don't you think it's weird that he was all over you, constantly trying to get your number and take you on a date; even Ash and Elliot warning him off didn't make a difference..."
"And..." Lois says as Ayla continues.
"And it all stopped after he gave you this." She says holding it out to me.
"I suppose, but he said it was an apology and I guess he just got over it and started bugging some other girl for a date."
"Whenever have you known Seth to give up on anyone? Remember when he pursued that Donna girl from his class for three months last year before she finally gave into him, dated him, slept with him and then he dumped her."
"Oh yea, and that Jodie girl. She kept saying no but he kept going after her and she gave in and the same thing happened with her." Lois says
"Okay I understand that, but what's this got to do with this photo frame? It's nothing special."
"It is when it's not just a photo frame..." Georgia says sounding alarmed pulling the frame out of my hands.
"What do you mean?" I ask
She turns to me whilst fiddling with the back of the frame "This one contains a bloody camera." Georgia gasps.
"WHAT?" I shout as my jaw drops.
"Where?" Lois asks.
"Right here." She says pointing to the black dot at the top of the frame whilst pulling it apart. "It's only small but it's definitely a camera lens." She says still fiddling round with it.
"How did you spot it?" Ayla asks
"I didn't, I spotted the wire coming out the back of it."
"I told you there was something dodgy about this gift when he gave it to you and you set it up remember Lyd." Ayla says and I nod, still gobsmacked he'd done this.
"Oh my god, he's been watching me in here. Watching all of us in here, watching me and Ash." I whisper, feeling violated.
*Secret POV*
As always I was sat watching the screen on my laptop, watching her. The 'xoxo I'm watching you' was my idea, I felt it was a twisted way of telling her what we were doing without her knowing.
Although right now she wasn't home, she was at the fundraiser day, but I would wait till she was home. See what else I can hear that would be useful or if see anything that we could use.
It was quiet when suddenly I heard her door open and a number of footsteps enter the room, along with a lot of chatter. The girls were back, time to start paying attention.
"...be behind it but not how."
"How about with this?"
Was all I heard when the screen went blank. Damn it, is it broken? I fiddle around with a few buttons on my laptop but nothing helps it reappear.
Fuck.
Then it hit me what was said before the screen went off. "How about with this?"
Shit...they knew.
I quickly picked up my phone and dialled the number I now knew by heart. It rang twice before she picked up.
"What do you want? You know not to call me."
"We have a problem." I say ignoring her snappiness.
"What?"
"The girls know about the frame."
"Fuck. Okay I'll be right over."
Then she hung up.

Soooo! They found the camera...and I know most of you clocked that there was something up with the frame but now the girls know. Well they know about Lyd's frame...
Anymore ideas who's behind off of this? I love hearing your suggestions and why. :)
Anyway, sorry it's taken me a couple of days to upload this and it's only short. But I've had a busy weekend with it being bank holiday here in the UK! Hopefully I'll have another part to post later if not tomorrow for all you lovely readers.
