“Emma shut the fuck up or I'll stick my dick down your throat to make you” Josh bellowed out loudly.
“Stick that thing near me and I will shove it up your own ass” Emma screamed back.
“I'd prefer to shove it in yours.”
“Again if you come near me with that thing I will punch your lights out”
This had been going on since we all got woken up at 5am, being woke up to a loud cock a-doodle-doo was definitely something new, I was never an early riser and getting up before 8am was just not on my schedule.
I was wanting to wring the damn chooks neck and drown it, Emma was complaining loudly ever since she started by telling them to shut up, which got Josh going so they had been bickering back and forth for the past half hour, Alex had his face buried in the pillow beside me laughing, well that's what I was guessing he was doing since his body was shaking, making the whole bed move.
“Emma get up and make me a coffee” Josh called out with a laugh.
Oh this is going to be fun waking up each morning to these two, having a lovers quarrel.
I rolled over pulling the blanket up to my chin, even though it was warm yesterday, this morning was actually a little cold.
“Either shut up or Alex and I are going to have loud sex” I called out deciding to join in on the conversation.
“I like the sound of that” the hot naked man next to me smirked
I heard Emma and Josh groan and beg us not too, but hell as if I was going to listen to them.
I hitched my leg up over Alex's hip pulling him closer towards me, his hand roaming over my body, running up and down the curve of my bottom to the top of my thigh, his mouth only mere centimetres from mine but teasing each other.
Not wanting to wait any longer I grabbed the back of his neck pulling him closer as we attacked each other in a hard but slow pace.
I let out a breathy moan as he moved on top of me, my legs wrapped around the backs of his thighs moving up to him, wanting him badly.
Giving into me he entered me slowly, our eyes locked on each other’s as he started moving “God your beautiful” He whispered, I gave a small smile as I wrapped my arms around his back pulling him down on top of me, wanting to feel his whole body against mine.
You would think as quite as we were that no one could hear us, yeah that wasn't the case, they had definitely heard us which I actually think they're only saying that or they really had their ear to the door.
“So what's the plan for today doctors?” Emma looked up from her plate of toast
“It’s going to be an alright day, so we should go fishing?” Alex walked out in a pair of blue jeans and a white shirt that was a little more fitted so it was showing off his muscled chest pretty well, oh my god.
I looked down at my blue painted toe nails, trying to distract the feeling of wanting to take Alex back to the bedroom and rip his clothes back off, oh god I was turning into a nympho, I was turning into a sex crazed whore who couldn't get enough sex even though I only just slept with him.
“Fishing sounds good” Josh spoke “do you girls know how to fish?”
“No” we both spoke, actually fishing was something I had done a lot of with my father but it’s unfortunately a time where my brain has let me down and I don't remember it. I had seen the photos but to me it felt like I was posing it, I don't even know how to throw a line in.
“Well we can teach you, it isn't too hard” Alex rubbed my thigh, I glanced up at him and gave a nod.
His eyes narrowed on mine as I checked him out, hell I was so caught up in how hot he was looking I forgot the others were in the room, or that I was pregnant and that soon reminded me when I felt the familiar watering in my throat.
And here I thought I was now past the morning sickness.
I managed to walk casually to the bathroom and once the door shut I leapt to the toilet bowl and hurled my guts up.
Why the heck cant the sickness just piss off and leave me alone, I laid on the bathroom floor with a cool face washer on top of my head, I felt as if my head was going to explode, maybe this is what an aneurysm felt like before it was going to explode.
The door opened and Emma walked in laying on the floor next to me “You ok?”
“No” I wiped my eyes which had been watering.
“Alex was wanting to come in but I wouldn't let him” she let a small laugh out
“Do you like him, honestly what do you think of him?” I hadn't even asked or couldn't remember if I asked her that question.
She let out a sigh “don't you think it's weird that you both lived here but never ran into each other, do you think you could have known him before the accident, or even Josh?”
I stopped and thought about it, could I have known Alex? “If I did don't you think they would have known as well or said something to me?”
“Ok” she smiled then stood up, I watched her curiously, she was acting even stranger than normal, why would she even think I knew Alex before, let alone Josh.
I stood up from the floor feeling slightly dizzy, head spin sucks.
I opened the door to see Emma and Josh looking very comfortable with each other, they were talking well more so whispering to each other on the couch, I felt a set of arms wrapped around my waist “still being sick huh?”
I turned to face him and nodded “I wish you could be the one who throws up or gets fat” I poked his hard stomach a couple times.
He threw his head back letting out a laugh “yeah but once your bigger there will be more of me to love”
Did he just admit to loving me? I was kind of a taken back I mean I had feelings for him and they were actually strong but for him to throw the word love around just changed the game.
“I have to feed the animals” he spoke in a flat tone and brushed past me, not even a kiss or asking if I wanted to come with him, it was like he realised what he said and regretted it instantly.
The door closed with a loud slam making me jump slightly, did he regret it that much?
“Lilly” Josh stepped closer, I could make out his outline but it was blurry, my eyes were watering and I was doing my best to hold back the tears.
“Why did he take off?” I whispered taking the tissue that Emma handed me, I sat on the sofa dabbing my eyes.
Josh let out a sigh and gave Emma a look, she was acting strange, heck they both were acting stranger by the minute. I sat there waiting as they had some silent conversation and then it clicked, what he said to me before had everything to do with it.
“It’s the girl that died, he still loves her” I asked Josh, he nodded but didn't look at me and I burst into tears again, he was still in love with someone else and not with me. He was here just because we were having a baby, like I was an obligation to him.
“I think I might go lay down” I stood up quietly walking towards his bedroom, I didn't understand how he could be so sweet to me and even bring up marriage, but he loves someone else, I could never force him to love me and I wouldn't.
I knew what it was like to be in love with someone, someone you thought you could spend the rest of your life with, he had made all my worries disappear and made me happy again, he had helped me grow and remember what it was like to laugh.
The hours passed and I never seen Alex, he and Josh went fishing so Emma and I watched TV for a while, we talked and I could tell she was acting weird, she was acting like she was carefully watching each word she spoke, trying not to say the wrong thing to me.
In the end it didn't matter what she said because I didn't feel up to talking any more, I just went to bed and slept, I wanted to sleep the worries away and let tomorrow be a new day.
I was laying in the darkness when Alex walked in, I had my eyes closed but it was obvious from the way I was breathing that I was awake.
He never said anything to me as he moved underneath the covers, he didn't even touch me which made the tears swell up in my eyes again, it hurt even more when he sat up and pulled his trousers and shirt back on and walk out of the bedroom, closing the door and not coming back in.
