Caitlin's P.O.V

The following few days were busy and I felt like I barely had time to breathe. We announced that we'd be releasing an alum at the end of November and the reaction to it was mind blowing. All three of our Twitters blew up in an insane amount and we had to do a ton of tweeting about it to get the promotion for it - per Nathan and George's request. That wasn't the only thing we did though.

We've had Skype meeting with Nathan and George about our album, which we also finally finished a few days ago. Now we were discussing names and things like that. We want to name the album after a song on the album, like many artists do. The title came easily to us, it was actually Julie who had the idea. She thought that since our best single was Brave we might as well name the album after it. Everyone loved the idea of it, so now there was only was last thing to do. With only a little under two months until our album officially drops, we need to do a photo shoot for it.

Obviously we've done a few photo shoots before, but nothing this big. I wasn't sure exactly what we were supposed to do, so when we got to the studio bright and early Saturday morning, the girls and I were quickly being told exactly what to do. We had already went through makeup and wardrobe, which took forever. And after this we would be meeting with Dylan to watch the final cut of the Fight Song music video, which would be exciting.

"Alright ladies," The photographer clapped his hands, "We are going to start off with Caitlin. Can you stand up by the blue back drop please, hun." Dave said. I jumped up from the seat and walked towards the back drop. I stood in the middle of the lights, waiting patiently for Dave to tell me what to do.

"Caitlin, sweetie, I'm going to take pictures and according to what Dylan wants, just do whatever. Okay? But smile as much as you can. Make yourself look sexy, desirable even. Sound easy?" Dave asked.

"Yup, I'm ready." I nodded my head.

I heard Liz whistle at me and I laughed, rolling my eyes at the blonde. As soon as Dave started taking pictures, I was modeling. I just did as many poses as I could think of, trying to make myself look hot and sexy. It was a little hard to do because I look like I'm fucking twelve years old, but I tried my best.

I could hear the girls laughing at me, and Liz's cackle was filling the small room. I only kept my smile on my face and finished taking pictures. Finally after a few more minutes and a few more poses, I was done and could sit out and watch the next person; Liz. Her face went red when she was standing in the middle of the room, a few lights on her as someone changed the blue back drop to pink.

"Liz, same as Caitlin. Ready?" Dave asked.

"Um, yeah." Liz laughed awkwardly.

Dave started taking pictures and Liz only smiled, looking as if she had a stick up her ass. I looked over at Julie, raising my eyebrows. "She needs our help." I said.

"Yeah, let's go." Julie said, standing up.

So for the next few minutes, Julie and I dramatically danced behind the camera, goofing off in order to make her feel like she isn't the only idiot in the room. Finally after another ten minutes of so many more pictures, Liz let loose and actually had fun. She laughed and did wacky poses, great poses that I'm sure will make the picture album that comes with the album.

Julie was next, who so easily posed for every camera. Liz and I couldn't help but make fun of her for it. She was the perfect pop star. She knew exactly what to do and when to do it. I admired it quite a bit and I wanted to try and copy her style. Not her clothing style, obviously, her clothes can be scary. But she knew how to be famous, I can tell you that and I wanted to learn everything she knew.

Niall's P.O.V

The sound of the audience was the only thing that anybody could hear backstage. The lights had just went down and Jay Cee El would be getting on stage any minute. I was waiting by the stage, talking and joking with Josh, Calum, and Harry before they would go on. Harry was telling us about how he would be taking Julie out on a date later this week. Of course that meant Calum would comment on how fit Julie was and Harry smacked him in the back of the head.

While it was funny, I wasn't paying much attention. I haven't seen or spoken to Liz much in the past few days. She's been insanely busy, preparing for the release of the album they've spent the last year working on. Now that October is passing by quickly, the girls have to really get their shit together for the release. I've heard a majority of the songs off the album and love them all, so I was excited for their official release. Their music video would be released tomorrow and while I was there when they shot some of it, I couldn't wait to see it all put together.

But with her so busy, we haven't had much time to see each other. The boys and I are also putting the final touches on the Story of My Life music video. It'll be released in a little while and while I'm excited for the fans to see it, I've missed Liz a lot and right now, I was on the lookout for her.

The blonde haired beauty finally walked through the doors, all dressed up for the concert in that blue shirt she's had on every other concert or so; the outfit that the fans have loved and adored since the beginning of the tour. She already had her headset on and her black guitar was wrapped around her body for when they'd go out on stage.

I couldn't stop myself from slowly checking her out as she laughed at something Julie said. In the past few months, she's grown at least two inches. Not only has she gotten slightly taller, she's gotten curvier than she was when we first met. Her hips stuck out a little more, her chest was bigger, and she looked more like a woman than a teenage girl. She still had those piercing blue eyes that put mine to shame, and the chubby cheeks that I've fallen in love with. But she looked more grown up. I couldn't deny the fact that I did as well; I liked the idea of us looking older together. It was stupid I guess, but I liked it.

My thoughts broke apart when Harry clamped his hand around my shoulder, laughing. "Go and talk to her for God's sake, don't stare at her like a creep, yeah?"

"Shut up." I said, shaking him off of me before walking towards her. Liz saw me coming before I had the chance to yell for her and she smiled widely, coming over to me. "Hey Liz." I smiled, wrapping my arms around her waist. She laughed, moving the guitar so that it hung over her back instead of her stomach.

"Hey Ni, missed you today. We had a photo shoot and I can't wait for you to see the pictures. I think they came out great." Liz smiled brightly up at me.

"Can't wait. Are you doing anything on the eighteenth, Friday?" I asked her, looking down at her.

She bit her lip, thinking for a few seconds. "No... I don't think so. We don't have a concert, right?" She asked.

"No," I shook my head, "That's why I was hoping that you'd want to go to dinner or something? We haven't been on an actual date that didn't include our pajamas in a while." I laughed.

"Hey, for your information, I happen to like our movie nights. But yeah, I'd love to. As long as it's after Julie and Harry leave, I have to help her get ready. He's picking her up at six, so does seven work?" She asked.

"Perfect." I smiled, leaning down to kiss her. I cupped her cheek as we kissed, but after a few seconds I heard someone calling her name. I pulled away from her lips and groaned, not wanting to have stopped kissing her. "After the concert you're all mine." I told her.

"I'm fine with that." Liz laughed, "I'll see you in a little bit. Love you." She said, rising up on her toes to kiss me quickly. I smiled as she pulled away and I quietly wished her good luck. She kissed me again and then was off, getting ready to go out on stage. I smiled as I watched her tap her foot to the music that was playing, and then she was out on stage.

Louis was passing by and he touched my arm for a second, quietly saying "Whipped" in my ear. I turned around to look at him, laughing quietly at himself. I rolled my eyes and walked towards where the end of the stage to watch the girls perform.

<><>

They did amazing, I always like watching them perform- especially Liz. She was adorable on stage and I loved to see how much she loved it. Not to mention she looked so damn fit up on stage. I really liked watching her on stage, she always looked so happy. It was probably the best time to look at her, other than when she's dressed down and doesn't care about anything in the world except me.

I was quietly singing along to the words of Lightning In A Bottle, watching as the girls danced around on stage with the audience singing back each and every word. Liz was playing her guitar and had moved to stand on one of the amps that belonged to the girls. I couldn't help the smile as the song came to a slow end. My smile dropped when I saw that Liz's foot was tangled in the wire that connected her guitar to the amp.

I stepped forward to tell the security guard that was standing by the stage, but it was too late and Liz went to jump off the amp as the final notes to the song rang out. My stomach dropped as I watched her fall to the ground. The crowd hushed as I blinked, watching as Liz lied on the stage with a broken guitar by her side. My feet moved before I could think and I was out on the stage in an instant. I could barely hear the roar of the crowd as I knelt down in front of Liz, moving the broken pieces of the guitar over.

"Oh my God, are you okay?" I asked, my voice being picked by the headset that she was wearing. I looked down at her face, frowning when I saw tears welling his her eyes.

"No, my ankle." She said. I reached up, gently pulling the head set off of her head so we could talk without being heard by thirty thousand people. Once I set it down, I turned to look at her ankle that the cord was still wrapped in. I carefully took off the ankle boot that she was wearing, already seeing the red skin that was above the rim of her ankle sock.

"It looks swollen." I told her, talking over the loud audience. "You need to go to the hospital."

"What? No I can't, I have to finish the show. I only have one song left." She said as Julie and Caitlin came up to us.

"Is everything alright?" Caitlin asked, holding the microphone behind her back so nobody heard her.

"No, I think she sprained or twisted her ankle. I'm going to take her to the hospital." I looked up at them.

"What? No." Liz said, though she was ignored.

"You can't. You have to put on a show and I know you love her, but you've got so many people that spent money and have waited forever to see you. We'll go and take her to the hospital. You stay and perform." Julie said.

"I'm not going to just leave her here." I told the two girls.

"Hey! Look, I'm not going anywhere until I finish the song. We have one more song. So if you'll help me sit up on the amp, we can finish and then I'll go to the hospital, okay?" Liz said.

I sighed and looked down at her. Liz's eyes were rimmed with tears and I knew that she was in a lot of pain, but it would make it worse if she didn't finish the show. Performing meant the world to her and I know that it would destroy her if she couldn't do the show. And with her looking up at me with those eyes, I couldn't say no. I reached down, wrapping my arm around her back and the other under her legs.

"Be careful with her ankle." Caitlin said.

"I know what to do." I rolled my eyes, not really liking being told what to do when it came to Liz. I'm not stupid, I know that I need to be careful with her ankle. But I didn't need Caitlin reminding me.

Liz's wrapped her arms around my neck as I walked to the amp, which was only a few feet away from us. I set her down, carefully, and watched as she gasped a bit. "Are you okay? Did I hurt you?" I couldn't help but ask.

"No, no. It just hurts a lot." Liz said, bending down to look at her swelling ankle.

"I'll be right back, okay?" I told her, bending down to kiss the top of her head as Julie handed Liz her microphone.

"Okay. I'll be here." Liz joked. A hint of a smile graced my face before I walked off stage, heading towards Paul. He was talking with one of the sound mechanics that I hadn't learned his name. I waited impatiently for his conversation to end, listening as the girls talked on stage and reassured everyone that Liz was okay.

Finally Paul finished and I was able to ask him to get a first aid kit sent to me. He nodded and talked into the walkie talkie that he was holding for a minute. I waited even more impatiently for someone to bring the box up. Luckily it only took a minute and as the first notes of Brave filled the arena, I was making my way to the stage with the box in my hand.

The crowd screamed as I came on stage but I ignored them, walking towards Liz was sitting. I reached out and softly traced her jaw, leaning down and kissing my poor girl. "You okay?" I whispered in her ear after pulling away from her lips.

Liz shrugged and looked down at her ankle. My heart ached for my girlfriend and I felt like I would do anything in order to take her pain away. I kissed her once more before kneeling down and carefully taking her injured ankle in my hands. She cringed and I felt bad for hurting her, but if I didn't wrap her ankle to stop the swelling it'll probably get worse.

I tried to be careful, but I needed to make sure that it was tight around her ankle. I felt terrible when I accidently pulled too tight, causing her to mess up her line while she sang. She knew I felt bad, because she reached down and squeezed my shoulder, mouthing the words 'thank you' to me. I only shrugged and finished wrapping her ankle with the ace bandage.

By the time that I finished, the song had ended and the two other girls disappeared under the stage. I stood up and brought my arm around Liz's waist, helping her to stand on her good ankle. She cringed, yelling over the crowd to tell me that she couldn't walk. I bent down and brought my arms under her legs, carefully lifting her up.

"Thank you." She said before bringing her microphone up to her lips. "Thank you everything, you were all so amazing and I'm sorry I fell over but I hope you enjoyed the concert nonetheless." Liz said, waving towards the crowd. I smiled; only she would apologize for falling over.

I walked off stage with her in my arms, where Justin was waiting for us. They already had a car outside the arena and we just had to get Liz to it and then she'd be off to the nearest hospital. I was nervous for leaving her. I didn't want to leave her with Justin, I wanted to go to the hospital with her. But Julie was right, I did have an arena full of fans that couldn't be let down. No matter how much I wanted to go to the hospital with her.

"Are you sure you'll be alright?" I asked once again, making sure that the seatbelt was on tight.

"I'm positive Niall, just go and perform. Okay? I'll only hurt worse if you don't. I'd hate for you to disappoint a ton of fans just because of me." She said, squeezing my hand that was intertwined with hers.

"Yeah bu-" I tried to say but she cut me off.

"Go. Text me after the concert and I'll let you know if I'm still at the hospital or not. Now go, please. You're going to do amazing, I'm sorry I can't watch." Liz said.

"It's fine, text me when you get there. I'll text as soon as the concerts over, okay? I love you." I said as Justin started the black van.

"I love you too." Liz said. I leaned down and kissed her quickly, not wanting to leave but knowing that I had to.
