"fashion major, attending stanford university, alison dilaurentis."
i clapped and watched alison get her diploma in her blue and white cap and gown.
she smiled and waved, tilting her cap to us.
i whistled loudly and smiled.
they went through a few people and said, "majoring in criminal justice, also attending stanford university. emily fields."
i smiled and walked up, "congratulations." hackett said.
i smiled, "thank you."
i shook his hand and got my diploma.
i walked down and went back to alison and kissed her.
"attending Stanford University, majoring in law and criminal justice, Spencer Hastings."
they went through a bunch of people, "majoring in fashion as well and attending Stanford University, Hanna Marin."
"attending Stanford University, majoring in english literature and photography, Aria Montgomery."
of course, we all ended up going to stanford.
caleb got in too, computer sciences and stuff like that of course.
when the ceremony was over we went to our parents and took pictures.
"we finally are free of rosewood high!" hanna squealed.
i smiled and nodded, "oh yeah. no more A, no more lies or deaths."
"alright. alison emily, one of you two." kenneth said.
we smiled and i put my hand on her back.
alison and i held up our diplomas and they took the picture.
"emily!"
i turned around, "mom! dad!" i smiled and ran to them and hugged them.
"we are so proud of you emmy! you did it! you graduated high school!" my dad said.
i smiled.
"it feels so good. i'm so happy you guys came. when did you get in?"
"we got here right before you went up. we're so proud of you emily. stanford. your dream school." mom said.
i smiled, "and with my dream girl." i said, looking at alison who was laughing with hanna and spencer.
"i can't believe all of you girls are going to college together. it's like world war 6." dad said and laughed.
"oh yeah, so intense it skips all the other ones and heads straight for 6." i said and laughed.
"we don't want to keep you, go have fun with your friends emily. we'll be at home."
i nodded and hugged them.
i went over to everyone.
"so spence when's the party." i asked as my arm dangled around alison's shoulder.
alison giggled and leaned into my body.
"fine. my lake house tonight at 6." she said.
"great. PARTY AT SPENCER'S LAKE HOUSE! 6 O'CLOCK!" i screamed.
everyone cheered and i laughed.
"only you." alison said and shook her head, laughing.
"let's get dressed shall we?" i asked alison.
"mmm. we shall." she said and kissed my lips.

alison pov
we arrived at spencer's lake house and it is...awesome.
emily is wearing a black and white Saint Laurent Varsity Jacket, black Paige Margot Black Arlo Destructured Jeans, the h0les OG Kaleidoscope Glasses, and a pair of black and white Chanel High-Top Suede Sneakers.
i am wearing a white tank top with a blue denim looking button up, unbuttoned, black shorts and a black boho hat, with a gold chain necklace of course.
"hey dilaurentis looking hot." noel said and smirked.
"hey kahn. looking not." i joked and smiled.
emily laughed and noel did too.
"so you gonna miss me next year while you're in cali and i'm partying in florida state?"
i chuckled, "i'll be miserable waiting upon our rendezvous." i said, acting miserable.
he laughed, "i know you can't resist me." he said and winked.
"you know. i did hear how hard it was to get rid of rats."
he pretended to be hurt, "ouch. that one hurt."
"aw. poor you." i said and smiled.
"now move so i can dance with my girlfriend." i said and pushed him aside.
he chuckled and emily and i went to get drinks and dance.
"i can't believe we made it! high school graduates." i said and smiled.
she chuckled and we danced with everyone.

"ali i need to talk to you." emily said.
i looked at her as we sat by the lake, "sounds serious."
"it is...listen i know how excited you were to spend the summer with me and to check out the campus in august but i was talking to my dad earlier after we went back to our houses to get dressed and he said that i have military training in the base in texas this summer."
i felt a knife go through my heart.
"military? but you said that you wouldn't-"
"no i know ali. but i want to try it out. i might like it who knows."
"well. what if you get hurt?" i asked, worrying about her now.
"ali it's boot camp. just basic army training." emily said.
(if you guys know more about the army than i do just go with it cause i know like nothing lol)
"em. things happen." i said, sighing.
she took my hands, "i know but i will be okay ali. my dad will be there too. he's going to help up the people attending the training."
"when do you leave emily." i said.
"tomorrow morning." she said.
i was overwhelmed with sadness.
"we were supposed to spend our summer together em. summer 2015. our summer before we go to college. i mean, are you going to blow me off in college too? go to iraq or something and what if you get shot and die huh? then where does that leave me emily?!" i started raising my voice at her and she was trying to keep me quiet.
"alison listen to me. i am just trying it out. i am definitely going to college okay? i promise. i will be there, with you. me and you al. i promise."
i sighed, "promise you'll call?"
"every chance i get." emily said sincerely.
"okay...fine. doesn't mean i won't worry."
she chuckled, "don't. let's get back." emily said and kissed me.
next day
"promise you'll call?" i said as i handed emily her bag.
"al. i promise. i love you okay?" she said and kissed me.
i smiled, "alright fine. bye!" i said and waved as emily and her parents walked away.
i sighed and turned around and got back into spencer's car.
we drove back to spencer's and i sighed, "i miss emily."
"she's been gone for 10 minutes." hanna said.
i shrugged, "i still miss her."
they all smiled and shook their heads.
"let's watch a movie!" aria said and jumped on spencer's lap.
we laughed at her and turned the tv on.
3 weeks later
"alison come on! we're gonna visit the campus!" spencer said.
"why in july may i ask?" i said.
"because school starts in august. like the twenties and yeah. let's go. pack." she said.
we are all going to cali to visit campus.
"i am packed." i said.
"then let's go!" she dragged me to the car and i groaned.
"bye dad! bye ashley!" i yelled.
her due date should be soon. only like 2 weeks left.
we drove to the airport.
"no i don't want to sit next to spencer!" i whined.
"why not?" spencer asked.
"spencer. you give everyone a speech and lesson on airplanes. i hate hearing it. and i don't feel like getting a headache today so i am sitting with hanna and caleb." i said.
spencer scoffed, "they're good lessons."
i chuckled and we boarded our flight.
"actually it's 2 people in each area so ali you're with a stranger." aria said
"fine." i said and sat down in my seat.
some guy sat next to me and said, "hello. why you off to california?" he asked.
he has a british accent.
i smiled while texting emily saying,
just boarded. not the same with out the other half of emison :(
"checking out my college campus." i said.
"oh really? me too. which university?" he asked.
i looked at him and wow.
holy crap.
short brown hair, blue eyes, perfect bone structure.
"stanford." i said and smiled.
"guess then i should introduce myself. hi. i'm colton haynes. we'll be going to the same school." i smiled.
"alison dilaurentis."
