Joe's POV
April
"You ready?" Genesis asks from the bathroom
"I am" I yell switching the channels on the tv
"Okay, lets go then. We're always the last ones there."
"I'm not the one who take long" I laugh
"Uh- then why don't you have your shoes on?"
I look down at my feet and see my bare feet; oops.
"One second!"
"I'll meet you downstairs"
I run to put on my shoes then head downstairs towards the garage where Gen already had my car turned on.
"Where are we going again?"
"To Geoff's place"
"Who?"
"Camerons dad..."
"Oh, well type it in so I get there on time" I say pointing to the GPS
I pull out of the driveway as she punches in the address to Mr. Quisengs place; hopefully we wont get lost.

So maybe we were late... but we got there right when the food was being served.
The party turned out to be in the backyard of the house which was actually pretty huge (almost as big as my front yard) which allowed there to be picnic style tables all over.
"Over here" I hear Nick say
Genesis and I saw him wave from a large table where he, Carolina, and the rest of the crew were already starting to eat.
"Hey, sorry we're late" Gen says
"Don't worry, Cameron just got here. Laura was showing him her gift" Valerie smiles over at us
"Thank god" Gen sighs
"What did she get him?" I ask
"Dude she got him that new Givenchy leather jacket" Nicks answers
"No fucking way, I can't even get that"
"He's on the waiting list" Gen teases
"The things Laura does for that man" Estefania laughs
"Go get some food" Carolina urges "The Quiseng's are known to be quick eaters"
"And Michael's here too" Zach adds
"Hey!" Michael yells with a plate full of food
I kept my hand on Gens back as we made our way to the buffet table, smiling at the guest who noticed me there. As we grabbed some plates Gen hands me Camerons present so she could serve me the barbeque food that was laid out.
"Is that for me?" we hear Cameron ask from across the table
"You bet" I smile handing the box to him
Gen makes her way over to him and gives him a friendly hug, I follow after her and give an awkward hug.
"We hope you like it" I say
"Yeah, Joe actually picked it out"
"You did?" Cameron asks
"Guilty"
"Open it!!" Gen claps
Laura appears at Cameron's side out of nowhere and grabs the box out of his hand.
"Not yet" she says walking away
My girlfriend and I give each other a weird look before seeing Cameron laugh.
"What's that about?" I ask
"She doesn't like me showing people what I get"
"Weird.."
"Mhh"
"Well we got you a pair of leather vans" Gen smiles
"No way, that's sweet. Thanks a lot guys" Cameron grins "Now enjoy the food, and I better see you guys dancing later!"

Food turns out to be pretty great; home cooking.
"Let's dance!" Caro yells grabbing Nicks hand into the dance floor
Everyone follows behind them and since I actually knew the song playing; Bruno Mars - Treasure.
"Shall we dance?"
Gen turns to look at me surprised.
"I'd love to"
"C'mon"
Since this song was pretty funky everyone on the dance floor was literally getting down. It was pretty funny seeing all the couples dancing to this song but nobody has better dance moves than me. I kept Gen close to me as we swayed side to side
"You're fine so fine" I sing to her in the ear
"Shush" she laughs
"You're my golden star, you'd make my wish come true, if you let me treasure you." I continue
"Joe, stop" she giggles in my arms
"No" I laugh with her
"Oh my god" we hear everyone say
There in the middle of the dance floor was Cameron pretending to comb his hair as the song changed to "You Should be Dancing" and he began to dance like John Travolta. Holy shit the guy could move.
"Deer god" Gen laughs
I don't know what came over me and all the guys but we ended up going to the middle of the dance floor and danced with Cameron, Taylor even did the worm; game over. The party had taken a 360.
"You guys better dance like this at our wedding!" Carolina laughs as we all go sit down at our table again
"No doubt" Michael says
"I'm counting on that"
All the girls start chatting, so I decide to go grab a beer and Nick joins me.
"I cant believe your getting married in a couple of weeks." I say
"Me either."
"You can still back out" I joke
"No way. I'm marrying my best friend, and i've been ready to settle down with her for years"
"I still remember the day you proposed to her in front of mom and dad"
"They thought I was crazy" he laughs
"Well you proved not only them but everyone wrong"
"I was never going to back down on my word"
"I know that, just like I know you love Carolina more than your own life. Cheer to that"
"Cheers"
Our bottles clique and we take a drink. Bring on the wedding.

Genesis's POV
May
Rehearsal Dinner
Why did my sister make me her maid of honor?? There's no way tomorrow will be more stressful than today; this dinner was driving me crazy. Most of our family would be arriving tomorrow morning to Dallas which meant a lot of the tables had empty seats, which drove Carolina crazy.
"Where is everyone?" she panicked
"They'll be here tomorrow, you know everyone cant make it that fast here by car."
"But I offered to pay for their flights here" she whines "oh god everything is going wrong"
"Calm down sheesh."
"Fix this" she says walking back to her table
Take a deep breath Genesis.
I walked around most of the night asking our family members if they about where everyone was and like I thought; they would arrive early tomorrow.
"Sit down for a second" I hear Joe tell me
He sat at a table with his parents, Frankie, Kevin and Danielle; the easiest seating chat I had made.
"I cant" I frown
"You can. Come here."
He grabs my arm and pulls me into his lap. A very inocent move but I could feel Mrs. Jonas starring at me.
"Rest dear" she says to my surprise "it'll all be over tomorrow"
"I think Michael had it worse than me" I laugh referring to the wedding planner who was still working on getting all of the flowers here in time for the ceremony tomorrow
"Poor guy." she laughs "All of this planning will only make things easier for your wedding"
I freeze on Joe's lap but he doesnt and instead rubs me back with a smile.
"I need to go check..." I start to say
"Gen, where's Michael? I have no idea where my room key is" Carolina says walking up to me
Thank god; she just saved me.
"I have it" I say standing up " Excuse me" I wave to everyone
We walk off a bit and I hand her the key to her room.
"Here, anything else?"
"Nope. Thank you, Nick and I will be going to sleep now."
"What"
"I'm tired"
"Wait here!"
In a hot second I run around the hall, get Joe and Laura together without everyone noticing.
"Who let Caro and Nick stay together the night before the wedding?" I ask them
"They both said they didn't want to have bachelor or bachelorette parties" Laura frowned
"Fuck. Even for their wedding they are being old people" I shake my head "Joe are you thinking what i'm thinking?"
"That we should go to sleep too?"
"No! You get Nick and we'll get Carolina. We'll take them both, separately for one last hurah."
"Hurah?" Joe laughs
"Shut it and go!"
Laura and Joe leave quickly while I start clearing out the hall reminding everyone what time the ceremony would take place.
Let's hope my plan worked out.

"You're an idiot" Carolina says
We had to pretty much tie her down to a chair we found in my room, and put a blindfold over her eyes.
"Can I please go to my room?" she begged again
"No, woman enjoy this!" Laura said
"Yeah. This is our first bachelorette party, don't ruin this for us!!" Nani laughs
"I wish y'all would of gone to mine. Everything went so wrong" Danielle snorted to herself "but i'll tell that story another time"
There was a knock on the door.
"It's time" I grin
"No guys please, I don't wan to see a random guys-"
"Who said he was random?" I said opening the door.
Valerie takes the blindfold off Carolina's head for her to open her eyes to Taylor dressed as a police officer.
"Ladies, there has been a complaint about the sounds coming from this room" he began
"TAYLOR" Nani yelled
We all busted out laughing, she actually fell for it.
"We would never do that to you" I chocked
Taylor laughs one more time before leaving and blowing a kiss to Estefania.
"Since that fantasy couldn't happen and you want to be a party pooper..." I say opening the door again "we had to make this funny"
Seconds later the One Direction boys burst into the room along with Zac Efron, and David Henrie.
"You fuckers lied to me!" Caro gasped "I thought y'all couldn't make it"
"Surprise!" they all yelled
The night turned out to be a complete fail. All the guys ended up just dancing (more like dry humping) on us and there was nothing sexy about it. Even though Laura looked like she could not even function when Zac took off his shirt.
Oh well, maybe the next time someone gets married there will be a descent bachelorette party.
