Marissa POV
Friday 4:30
I'm finally out, thank goodness! I hate hospitals with a passion. It's just filled with sick people, so gross!
Well, I gathered my things and went down to the lobby as i waited for Chresanto to pick me up. I signed myself out, which i don't think I'm eligable to do but whatever, I walked outside and sat on a nearby bench. I grabbed my ringing phone out my purse and seen that Chresanto was calling.
"Hello?" i answered
"Hey baby girl" his sweet voice sang in my ear
"Hi love, what's up?"
"Nothing just calling to say that I'm on my way"
"On your way?" i asked "You haven't left the house yet?"
"I just did like 5 minutes ago"
"Chresanto!"
"What i do?"
"I was discharged like 5 minutes ago! Your house is like an hour away from here"
"Are you serious?"
"Of course I am, why would I lie?"
"But you texted me saying they were letting you out at 5:00. It's only 4, so I should be there on time"
"No i texted 4:00. so you would be here on time because i know how you are"
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Nevermind Chresano just get here, you know how much i hate hospitals"
"Alright, sorry"
"It's fine just hurry"
"Okay, I'll be there in 15 mintes"
"No!" i whined.
"What's wrong now?"
"If you get here in 15 minutes that means you're going to speed. I don't want you getting another ticket. Or worse getting in an accident"
"So what do you want me to do?"
"I want you to hurry, just be safe about it. I don't want you hurt baby"
"Aww, okay baby gil I'll be safe"
"Thank you"
"You're welcome I'll see you soon"
"K Bye"
"Bye"
I hung up the phone and placed it on my lap. I began to get myself relaxed because I was going to be here for a minute. As i sat there i thought about how he read the message wrong. I went to my messages between me and Chresanto and read them...Oh, i did say 5:00. Dang, why is he 4 and 5 so closed together? Well, i guess it's my fault but he doesn't have to know that.
Later
Chresanto finally pulled up while i was in the middle of trying to figure out the word for these 4 pictures. My brain hurts anyway so I'll just take a break. Chres pulled up into the pick-up lane and got out. My face lit up when he got out and smiled at me. He walked over to me and gave me a hug. We shared a quick hello kiss and he grabbed something from out the passanger seat. It was a bouquet of my favorite flowers, roses. He had them in my favorite colors to pink and white Then he gave me a teddy bear and a box of chocolate
"Aww Chres you are to sweet"
"I know right." he said. He lead me over to the car and opened the door for me. I got in and he close the door. I admire my roses while he grabbed my things and put them in the trunk of his car.
"Hi Mary!"
I screamed and jumped a little in my seat. I turned to see Kia in the backseat smiling. She had popped up from behind my seat so i didn't see her when i got in.
"Hi Kia!" i smiled at her.
"How are you feeling?"
"Much better thank you. How are you?"
"I'm good. Do you like the presents Chres gave you?"
"Yes i do"
"I'm not supposed to tell you but it was my idea to get you something. And i picked the stuff out too"
"Picked what stuff out?" Chres asked getting into the car
"Oh nothing." Kia smiled. I mouthed the words 'thank you' to Kia and she nodded
"Okay are we ready?" Chres asked
"Yup!" i smiled and Chres pulled off. Once we were out of the parking lot i turne around and began talking to Kiara
"So are you excited for tonight?" i asked her
"Yes!" she cheered. Tonight is Kia's sleepover. I'm so glad the hospital discharged me so i would be able to go
"How many people do you expect to come again?" Chres asked a little worried
"Well I invited Amanda, Candace, Trisha..."
As Kia rambled on about how many girls she invited i started to think about JaLen. I haven't seen him in a long time and i don't want to come home then leave him again. Wait i have an idea...
"And Rebecca and Marsha..."
"Kiara" i cut her off "Do you think I could bring JaLen to the sleep over?"
"I don't know Mary, he's a boy"
"But Ray is a boy and you invited him" Chres defended
"Well, i guess so. Yeah JaLen can come"
"Cool"
I turned back in my seat and thought about all the fun we were going to have. But then i got kinda tired. I layed my seat back a little and before i knew it I was sleep.
Chresanto POV
Every now and then i would glance over and look at Mary while she was sleep. She looked so beautiful. He hair was blowing in the wind and her skin was glowing from the sun hitting it just right. I don't know what i was thinking, getting mad at her and even breaking up with her. I want to keep her forever. I know I'm making it seem as if she's property or something but that's not what mean. I want Mary to stay with me. My mom thinks I'm moving to fast but i don't think so. Mary is an amazing girl and I think we were meant to be together.
I pulled into Mary's driveway and cut off the engine. I looked back at Kiara who was playing a game on my phone
"Come on Kia"
"What about Mary?" she asked. I don't eally want to wake her, she looks so peaceful
"I'll carry her. Come on" I got out the car and walked around to Mary's side. I opened her door, unbuckled her seat belt and picked her up. She woke up a little and placed her arms around my neck and laid her head on my chest. I carried her bridal style up the walk way while Kia close the passanger door and walked in front of me. Beating me to the door, she rang the bell. We waited a couple seconds then Ms. Bell came to the door.
"Hello Kiara. Hello Chresano, come on in" she said
"Thank you" We walked inside and she closed the door.
"You can just lay her in the livingroom for now." I did as she said and put Mary on the couch in the living room. I walked into the kitchen where Ms. Bell was giving Kiara a cookie. Kia doesn't really need anymore sugar but i guess one cookie should be fine. After Kia got her snack Ms. Bell and I talked a little
"So Chresanto, how have you been, how's school?"
"I've been fine. My grades are fine..."
"No they're not. He got 2 D's and a F on his progress report." Kia said rattin me out
"Chresanto, that's not good"
"That's what i told him, but he didn't want to listen. I hope he realizes that his game is next week. And he won't be able to play if he doesn't get his grades up" Kia pointed out making me feel bad
"She's right you know" Ms. Bell said
"I know but Ms. Bell..."
"Please, call me Kat. Ms Bell is my mother"
"Okay. Well, Kat, Mary was like my tutor. And she was in the hospital. Visiting hours are only from 4-6. My practices end at 4 which means that i don't get to the hospital until 5. That only gives us an hour to talk. So i try to do my homework but I don't want to talk about work when I'm with her."
"Well you're going to have to do something about that Chresanto. I want to be able to see number 23 when I'm watching that game"
"You're going to be there?"
"Of course why wouldn't I be?"
"I guess you're right"
"I know" she said.
"Alright, well Kiara and I have a party to get ready for"
"Oh that's right your having a slumber party right Kiara?"
"Yup"
"Well, you guys go ahead. I'll make sure she gets there" She said refering to Mary
"Thanks. Bye Kat"
Kiara and I left out and went home to et up for the party. I put out all the snacks and everything and displayed them neatly on the counter. After i finished i went in the livingroom and saw all the pink things that were set up. Kia was trying to move the couch but was failing epically. I went over and helped her. We moved the couch so that there would be more room. I pushed it against the wall so now there's alot more room. Kia and I looked at each other and smiled. We were done
"So what now?" i asked
"We wait for everyone to come"
"Okay" i sat down but as soon as i caught myself getting comfortable the doorbell rang. I got back up and answered to see Ray at the door with Rachel next to him. He was holding her things as well as his
"Hi Chres" Rachel said hugging me a little too tight
"Hi Rachel" i pulled her off me. "Kiara is in there" i said pointing to the livingroom.
"Okay" Rachel went into the livingroom and left Ray. We were standin there not looking at each other. It was kinda awkward. I hadn't talked to him all week
"Uh, come in i guess" i suggested. He walked in and dropped the bags at the door. "Sooo..."
"Look bro, before you start just let me say I'm sorry. I shouldn't have spread that rumor but you don't understand there's a lot going on with me right now and I'm not sure when I'm gonna come out with it but i hope you can understand that I'm not ready to tell you yet"
I thought about it for a good minute. I guess he has his right to keep what he wants. I did kinda go off on him for no reason
"It's cool Ray. Bro's for life right?" i held out my hand
"And you know this man!" he laughed. We did the handshake we made up in 5th grade and gave each other a bro hug. It's cool to have my bestfriend again.
"Aww look at you two!" I heard Rachel say
"It's about time yall finally kissed and made up. I haven't seen my baby in a long time. I missed you Ray" Kia came over and hugged him. He pulled her off of him.
"Go somewhere Kiara" he said. The doorbell rang again. I opened it and there was Mary, JaLen and Jacob. They all came in and we sat around. More and more people came until we had at least 15 screaming little girls running around the house. This is going to be a long night.

So how are you're spring breaks going? Mines is so fun That's why i haven't been updating. Sorry. But I'm really happy because MB will be out here in Detroit in a couple weeks, I'm so geeked lol.
