Emily pov
This is perfect i can tell her everything now.
"Ask me anything." I said.
She nodded and said, "did you ever even love me?"
"Yes. I never didn't love you alison. That is the truth. I love you. I'm in love with you ali-"
"Then why would you do this to me." She said monotone.
"Ali i was forced. A told me to okay? A said that if i didn't join the bitch woukd hurt you. I had no choice but to just do it!"
She looked at me sadly.
I knew i hit a piece of her there.
"So how long? Have you been torturing me?"
I sighed and played with the chord of the phone, "a few months."
"So you hit me? And drowned spencer? And tried to burn me alive?" She shot at me.
"I was told to alison. I didn't want you to find out okay? But the fire...ali i saved you. I would never let you burn in there."
"So did you kill my mother? And bethany?"
"No! Ali! I've only been in this for a few months! God ali i wouldn't do that! I promise! I know who A is ali!"
She looked at me, "who?"
"Ali it's mona. She has been telling me what to do okay? I'm not the leader. I think she is. She was never out of the game al."
She looked at me, "so you were forced?"
I smiled and nodded, "yes. Alison i love you. More than anything. I would never hurt you if i wasn't being forced to. I thought better me than A right?"
She nodded.
"I um...i shouldn't be here. Spencer would kill me if she knew i was here." Alison said about to stand up.
"No! Why would she be mad?"
"Because emily! They hate you! They all do! And my dad knows! He thinks you killed my mother!"
"But i didn't! Ali i told you i'm innocent!" I said, hurt she wouldn't trust me but i don't blame her.
I am a monster for everything i did.
"And i believe you didn't kill anyone emily. But you still hurt me and lied to my face. You are a liar but i know you aren't a killer." I sighed of relief.
I looked at her eyes and she avoided mine.
"Please look me in the eyes." I choked out.
She gulped and looked into my eyes.
Her eyes watered and she looked away.
"I can't."
"Why not?"
"Because if i do i'm afraid i'll forgive you." She said painfully.
"Then forgive me." I said.
She laughed unhumorously, "i can't forgive you emily! Your broke my heart! I gave you everything! God i gave myself to you because i thought you were the one! The one i was meant to be with! I guess when spencer said screw A she wasn't joking because i did!" I looked down again and noticed a few tears dripped on the counter.
Alison looked at me curiously, "emily." She said.
I sniffled and looked up at alison with red eyes and tears cascading down my face.
"I need time emily. To trust you again."
"Please don't leave me in here alison. I hate it here. I want to be out of here. I didn't kill anybody!"
Alison sighed, "don't worry. I'll tell them it was mona and you were framed. You'll get out...i would just keep your distance okay? Please." She said, my heart cracking. She is asking me for space.
"Sure." I said painfully. But if it makes her happy then i'm all for it.
"I'm gonna go but i'll get you free i promise okay?"
I smiled softly, "thank you."
She didn't answer. She just hung up amd left.
They cuffed me again and threw me back in my cell.
I looked at my wall and traced the Picture of alison and i kissing and another of the girls.
Alison pov
"Excuse me detective tanner?" I said.
She smiled, "yes alison? How can i help you? How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine thanks but i know something important. Emily fields is innocent. I know this because mona vanderwaal is the person you're looking for. She framed emily. She's good at twisting things and she killed my mother and bethany. She's the enemy not emily fields." I said, making sure i sounded strong.
"And you're sure of this?"
"100% ma'am. You need to let emily go. She can help us find mona." Tanner nodded amd stood up quickly.
She said stuff into her walkie talkie.
Cops went to the cells and i heard doors open.
I walked outside quickly and went to my car when emily walked out in her clothes she was wearing when they took her...her A outfit.
She looked at me and i smiled softly at her but looked away.
"Get in. I'm driving you home." I said and opened the passenger door.
She got in, "thanks."
"No problem." I said and drove to emily's house.
We didn't talk the whole time and i didn't look at her.
Stop alison don't forgive her. You can't.
I stopped and she got out, "thanks again ali."
I nodded, "sure. Bye em." I said and drove away quickly.
next day
The girls and i were at the brew.
They dragged me out of the house.
I didn't want to but i knew i had to leave eventually. And the jail didn't exactly count because they don't know i went.
We were eating and the door opened, "what the hell is she doing out of jail?! She should be rotting in a cell!" Spencer said angrily.
I looked at my coffee and swirled it.
"Alison." Spencer said.
"What?" I asked acting all innocent.
"You didn't. ali are you insane?!" Aria said.
"Okay what!" I said.
"You told them to let her go. God i knew you'd go back to her!" Spencer said.
"Okay i didn't "go back to her" okay? I told her i don't forgive her and i need to trust her again."
"But you still got her out!" Hanna yelled and emily looked over.
I sighed and smiled smally at her.
She smiled back and left with her coffee.
"Okay she said that mona is the leader! Emily didn't kill anyone! She's only been in this for a few months! Mona is the leader! She's A! Not emily! Emily was forced to be A or else i'd get hurt! She was doing it to protect me!"
"Oh yeah? By trying to turn you to bacon?" Spencer said sarcastically.
"She saved me spencer. She wouldn't let me die."
"She tried to kill me! And she hit you!"
"Better emily than mona!" I shouted.
"Ow!" I cried and held my stomach in pain.
"Are you okay?"
I sighed, "yeah..."
I cringed and held my arm that had the stitches in it and winced.
"Ow okay. Ouch. Let's just stop talkig about this please. It hurts to stress about it."
They nodded quickly and spencer rubbed my back.

It was the middle of the night when i heard a thump.
I jumped up and turned my lamp on, "emily? What the hell are you doing crawling through my window?!" I whisper yelled.
She giggled and it made my heart flutter. No stop.
"I've always wanted to do that."
I couldn't help but giggle at her.
"What do you want emily?" I finally asked.
She shrugged, "i'm home alone and mona knows i spilled. I know i shouldn't be here but i felt lonely." She said shyly.
I smiled and moved over, "come on." she smiled and came over.
"So um...do you have a new boyfriend or girlfriend?"
I laughed, "really? No emily. I spent the past week pining over my pain and heartbreak from you. I didn't have time to date again. I was busy crying." i said.
She looked down, "oh."
She scrunched her eyebrows, "what's that?"
I looked down and saw my scar. Shit.
I held it and emily looked at me, "what happened?"
"It's nothing emily really."
"Let me see." She said and grabbed my arm.
I winced in pain and she looked ovey worried.
She looked at it and her face fell.
Her face drained of its color and she looked horrified.
"D-d-did i d-do t-this?" She said weakly.
I nodded slowly and she held her mouth as tears poured out.
"Oh my god..."
"And i also took pills and alcohol..." i admitted. Might as well.
She sobbed once, "i'm so sorry alison i'm so so sorry. I n-never wanted this to happen. I should've told you the day it happened. This is all my fault. Everything. I should've died in that elevator shaft. Or the saw mill. You should've left me to die." She said and started pacing.
"Emily! Don't say that. Please. I don't want you dead and this isn't your fault."
"yes it is! I hurt you so bad you tried to take your own life! I'm my worst nightmare. I made the one thing that meant most to me in the world hate me."
I took her hands and yanked her onto the bed, "i don't hate you emily. As much as i wanted to i couldn't. I can never hate you emily fields." I whispered the last part, looking straight into her eyes.
Her eyes were bright red and she looked miserable.
She cares. This is my emily. I know it. She loves me.
"You love me." I said and smiled.
She nodded and looked down.
I sighed and sat on the ground, looking up at emily, "emily." I said, trying to get her attention.
She shook her head and looked at me weakly.
I smiled and placed my hand on her cheek gently.
Her perfect, soft tan skin.
"I love you too." i whispered and kissed her gently.
Sparks flew, fireworks exploded.
Butterflies fluttered.
Stomachs flipped.
We pulled away and i placed my forehead on hers.
"Please don't ever hurt yourself again alison. Especially not because of me. even if i don't have you i can't lose you. ever."
I nodded and kissed her, "i know. it won't happen again emmy. promise." i said and kissed her again.
I stood up and leaned on top of her.
"Where's your dad?"
"Out with some girl. He's probably staying over her place."
She nodded and i took my shirt off and emily took hers off and we ended up in eachother's arms, naked and asleep.
Emily pov
I woke up to my phone ringing.
You get one more chance. Everything ends tonight. Warehouse on 7th. 7 tonight. Get going now fields.

Shit. mona's not happy.
I quickly got up ad put my clothes on.
I kissed alison's perfect.
She's gonna be pissed i left but i'll text her saying i knew she wouldn't want the girls to find us like that.
I drove to the warehouse and mona made me change.
"If you don't listen tonight i promise you it won't be pretty." she warned.
I nodded, "i'll listen. I promise."

Alison pov
When i woke up i was in a chair.
What the hell happened? Before the girls and i were walking home when we were attacked or something...no...emily?
I looked over, "spence!" She woke up with a jump.
"What the hell is this?! Emily!" She screamed and aria and hanna woke up.
A figure walked in. They took their mask off and it was emily.
"Welcome. Nice sleep?" She said and smiled.
"No. Emily." I cried and tried to break through.
"Did you attack us?!" Hanna yelled.
"No. She did."
Mona the. Walked out in a black hoodie.
"Hello." she said and smirked, handing emily a gun.
"Let's get this over with. You know what to do emily." Mona said.
"I do." She turned everyone's chair, facing me and i started gettin terrified.
Mona held a gun up to my face, "ALISON NO!" The girls cried.
"Just do it mona. Kill me." i said.
she laughed, "oh sweetie. I'm not killing you...she is."
Emily smirked and cocked her gun back, pointing it at my head.
I wriggled, "no. Emily."
"Hurts huh? When the person you love turns on you? Again?" Mona said and smirked.
"Again? What does that mean?" Spencer asked curiously.
"Oh you don't know? Team emison had a fun little reunion last night. Right ali? Em?"
Emily smiled sinisterly, "oh yeah. Except there won't be another this time." She said.
"Okay. Enough play time. Emily. Shoot." Mona said.
"Sure thing boss." Emily said and quickly turned her gun to mona and shot her in the stomach.
I screamed and emily dropped her gun and ran to me.
"Oh my god! You're not A still?" I cried with watery eyes.
She smiled and untied me, kissing me, "no. Now help me untie the others."
We ran to them and untied them, "you're good?" Hanna asked.
"Yes now let's go." Emily said and we started to leave when mona grabbed my ankle and yanked me down.
"Emily!" I screamed.
"Hey!" Emily yelled and kicked mona in the face.
She grunted and let go of me.
I ran into emily's warm arms and we ran out of the room.
"Shit it's a dead end!" Emily said.
"Stop right there fields." Spencer said and held up emily's gun to emily's head.
"Spencer stop!" I shouted.
Emily froze and put her hands ups
"Spencer. I'm not the enemy here."
"How do we know that? Alison almost died because of you. this could be a trap."
Spencer said angrily and cocked the gun back.
"Spencer please don't!" I cried out.
"Spencer listen to alison. I'm helping you please do-AGH!" She choked out the end as mona grabbed her by the neck, holding a gun against her temple.
"You think you can kill me bitch?! You think you out smarted me?! News flash, I DON'T DIE! And for trying to kill me i promise you i will kill you." she said and put her finger on the trigger.
"STOP!" I screamed.
"Oh? Ali D is protecting someone else? Shocker. Why do you care? She hurt you. She broke your heart. You wnst her gone."
"No please! I love emily! Mona stop please! you made her into that person. I know the real emily! She's the love of my life and i forgive her and trust her with my life!"
Mona laughed and emily gasped for air as mona's arms tightened around her neck.
"Oh...well that changes nothing."
Spencer cut in, "it changes this." She shot her gun and i screamed and mona collapsed to the ground.
She dropped her gun and emily collapsed.
"Oh my god. Em." I said and ran over.
She tried to grasp the air.
I hugged her and kissed her temple.
She put her head in my chest and held me as well.
"You saved my life. thank you." i siad and kissed her.
The cops are coming you guys. let's get out there." aria said and they walked out.
Spencer stayed though and held a hand out to emily.
Emily looked at me and i smiled and nodded.
She took spencer's hand and stood up.
"Thanks."
"Sure. Thank you for saving us...and alison. If she forgives you and trusts you...i guess we do too. Just don't hurt her again emily."
"I won't promise." emily said and smiled at me.
I stood up and she kissed me.
"I love you." she said, looking into my eyes.
I nodded, "i love you too emily."
