It had been months since the full group had got together, over four months since Astrids death, just over a month since they had last seen Bartholomew and Michelle had always been busy with errands and her new boyfriend Fyonda, that's why it was to Ferns Suprise to see them both standing there as she entered the hall with Sylvester. Cyrus was quite pleased to see them back, "Ah Bart my little kettle boy your back!" while giving an approving nod to a clearly tired and unwilling to be there Michelle, "Fyonda was out so I felt like I should return, however I've heard Harths gone missing again, what a pity" it was true while the reunion was nice, it felt like one of the most important people of the banquet was missing. Sadness in Cyrus's sigh could be heard throughout the kingdom, "Why is it that when we get Bart back Harth goes missing? My kingdom truly is cursed" Fern had tried to comfort them, but it wasn't exactly false, this kingdom was cursed. At least it felt like it. Why did all these peoples happiness get killed by the monster of life? And how did it happen? Fern remembered back to times when Harth and Lone had seemed like an old couple in their honeymoon phase once again, but now, there relationship was hell reincarnated as a tie between the two.

Boiling tea melted the floor as Bart never developed from his roots the two months he had left, that was when Itto walked in taken by shock at Barts return, "Hello Bart?" he questioned without trying to make it sound rude but failed miserably. Itto noticed the monarchs distraught and questioned what could be wrong, "Oh sorry, it's just so lonely..." Cyrus's reply made Fern question, "Harth and her little. Boyfriend. Keep getting us all into horrible predicaments, I have no idea about what happened to Sylvester and" Cyrus leaned in closer to Itto to make sure Fern could not hear them, "Let alone what's wrong with Fern, there room looks like sherlock gone crazy over a cold case" Cyrus pulled back to see Bart standing right next to the two listening in.

"Why is master Fern named after a plant?" People continued to ignore Barts foolery. A knock on the hall door was heard, Itto had stepped over to Sylvester whispering something in his ear as Cyrus asked Bart to open it. It was Lone. There was no doubt about it, his dandelion hair was knotted with sticks and clusters of mud, his fancy attire ripped apart leaving a hole in his shirt to see his burnt skin poking out. Lone shook with anxiety but continued to smile at the surprise of Bart who in turn slammed the door on his face leading a cold whisp of air to smack him. A shaken bolt of terror struck Sylvesters face, Fern immediately jumping to his side clutching their rapier. Cyrus called out to Bart, "Open the door and make our guest some tea." The odds the tea would be somewhat deadly or have a negative effect was quite big, Cyrus knew this fact hoping it would influence Lone. Bart summoned the tea as he opened the door to Lone, "Tea?" he offered forcing an ugly smile, at first Lone denied walking over to Cyrus, "Drink it." the monarch stubbornly insisted.

Lone took one deep breath and unwilling drunk the tea, to his surprise it was one of Barts better concoctions and had no visible side effects. Cyrus stood up took Lones half-finished peached tea and handed it to Fern, "Put Nightshade in it" Nightshade, the black flowers of death lain in the garden, where Sylvester found his assassins, body lain dead in months ago. Michelle had heard the rumors of what Lone had hypothetically done to Harth and offered to get the Nightshade herself, she was close to Harth, despised Lone for what he did to her, glad to think Lone could die to her own hands she collected the Nightshade right away. Lone changed his direction over to a shaken Sylvester, "Where's Harth?" he continued to ask with concern, no one in fact gave any concern about Lones where abouts, his beaten up appearance gave the rest joy, "She ran away" Sylvester piled up with anxiety. Lone was heartbroken holding Sylvester's wrist in a violent rage, "What he meant to say is that Harth went on a trip." Cyrus raised their voice as the disgruntled Lone, "She gone to find you." Sylvester explained as Lone let go of his injured wrist, "I trusted you with Harth and you gone an screwed it up" he muttered with pain a tear forming in his eye. Lone apologized to Sylvester for his injury. It was short lived. "How could you let this happen Sylvester?" Lones tears seemed real, yet no one could be convinced, "I did the best I could" Sylvester pulled away forcing his kind smiles out to Lone, he could tell by Sylvester's gruff look that he did not care for him. Bart handed Lone the drink Michelle prepared, "Another tea sir?" Lone held the scorching plate and placed it on the floor below him, "your last was quite filling enough" Lone took a step forward towards Cyrus "Pardon my rude questioning."

Lone bowed to Cyrus with his eyes closed, his signature smirk painted across his face. "But I wonder why you possibly want to poison me with Nightshade?" His sea eyes opened glaring into Cyrus soul holding his bowing position. How did he know? "Lone, you have been disrespectful to this castle, disrespectful to this kingdom and disrespectful to me." Cyrus adjusted themself in almost fear of what Lone could do but continued to be blunt. "My apologies for that misunderstanding earlier with Sylvester, but otherwise I question how I have been deemed disrespectful" he tried to lift up his bow but was struck back down by Cyrus, "You do not come into my palace, harass my subjects, and myself by extension! And consider yourself worthy of seeking asylum here" Cyrus let Lone pick himself up. "No wonder Harth left, I suppose we have all seen the true you today." Cyrus walks out the door with Michelle and Bart following behind, Lone try's to deny any wrong doing but everyone in the room had already agreed to themselves not to listen, "Fern, what happened you used to trust me?" Lone begged with tears in his eyes. Sylvester was the one to break the silence, he whispered poets breath as he talked to Lone, his voice fading from his new innocence back to the same tone it had been before his memory loss, "Lone may you come with me and Fern?" It was hard to convince Lone to oblige even with his ability, it seemed like his folder was telling the truth about his total control over abilities, however Lone followed them both down into a storage room.

Fern stopped Sylvester trying to continue the interrogation by themself, "I hate you, what did you do to Harth?" Fern clenched their fist trying to refrain from fighting Lone, "I have a feeling whatever I say, you will never believe me... May I request a truth potion?" Fern nods to Sylvester to get Lone what he demands Fern continued on with the investigation, "You attacked us with your shadow creatures? You almost killed Halobean? Shes on bed rest right now" Lone searched his mind with confusion, "Someone used Dust sprites of the dark on you?" he asked, "I never mastered it if you think it was me" Sylvester comes in with a cup of tea and Bart, its old and as cold as ice labeled "Truth" on it. The two force it down Lones throat as he pushes them away to drink it himself, Sylvester escorts Bart back out the room, "I promise you I never used that spell on you" Lone sighs, "And I promise I've done nothing to Harth". Fern mentions the picture, Lone agrees such a painting exists and shows it to them "How did you know about this painting?" Lone asked as Fern was studying it, "Where's your brothers hut?" The mention of his brother strikes Lone with genuine fear and anger, "Oh no" he knocks the teacup down breaking it in a hurry, Fern denies in believing Lone is playing an act.

Sylvester walks back in the heat of the moment, his demeaner more mature than before with a cigarette pushed in between his teeth. "Sylvester did the mages hut disappear from your memories" Lone shock as he spoke, Sylvester continued to give a gruff nod, "We're the one asking questions." He tried to make Lone feel worse, but it was too late. "The mages hut" Lone repeats with a shake, "The mages hut, it's my brothers ability. He has always been after me after I betrayed the family, when I fell in love with Harth he got so jealous of making her his new victim" his voice sped with emotions of genuine fear and anger. Fern continued to deny him, "Youve done horrible things." they Shaked with a small cry in her voice, nothing compared to Lones, " Please you've got to believe me, Harth must've given you a time for when she would be back, she would never leave just as sudden as this even for me" Fern muttered "24 hours" under their breath with a tiny bit of remorse for Lones consistent cry's and begs. The remorse disgusted Sylvester, "I don't know, you seemed like a pretty horrible person when you did those things to Harth" he lit his cigarette and opened the door, "go ahead, prove me wrong." Sylvester walked out the door without another word leaving Lone more distraught than before. Lone pleaded for Fern's trust, "I'll get something up on my brother, I have this secret library down-" Fern interrupts him , "I already know" his face continued to get an ill shade of pale, "Thanks to my brother I'm guessing" Lone sighs standing up, "What do you say, will you trust me?" Fern regrettably nods as they move their way to the down stairs library. Lone scans a playing card with a similar pattern onto the desk, this time more neatly done and the playing card less flimsy, "I made this too-" Fern stopped him before he could finish his sentence, "I didn't ask for your life story, let's move" still angered at Lones antics.

He frantically flipped through his folder he took from Colemans desk, Fern was a puzzle at what Lone could be, "I don't get it your supposed to be the villain." At this point in time Lone could only slowly start to become one. He ignored Ferns statement until he found the page he was looking for and slammed his folder onto his desk when he found it. He pointed at a subsection explaining his relationship with his brother, "I'm no villain" he stops his tears and steady's his tornado breath, "One day this story will make sense, in the meantime you need to trust me that this is all for Harths own good" all for that girl Harths own good, that's what he convinced himself.  The subsection read as follows.

Lones relationship with his twin brother

Lone has always had a competitive relationship with his twin brother, Lone had always been the best at spellcasting despite never wanting to choose that path. After Lone "betrayed" his family his brother has never once stopped to hunt him down, every chance he could use his ability "the mages hut" to ruin his brother's life the slightest bit more he has taken; especially after Lone found himself with the great knight Harth his twin has made it his mission to split the two of them up in any means necessary.

"Your brother seemed fine, he had mage magic just like you" Lone didn't question how Fern learnt these things about him anymore "I feel the need to remind you we were trained together." Fern shrugged his seeming insolence away, "What do you mean this is all for Harth" they looked down a cold tear forming in their eye, "Shes not even here. And what if she never comes back!" Fern continued to shout at Lone taking out all the mustard up anger towards his actions all in one go. "As long as she doesn't fall into a phsyco's hands, shell be fine" Lone had completely calmed himself, holding on to the banister taking him up the stairs avoiding eye contact with Fern, "Maybe in your story I'm that phsyco, and you could even be correct" He looked over to Fern once more with a truly remorseful look before he walked out,

"But until you can prove I'm that villain, I'm a hero"
