Myself

For myself, I'll take a moment,
To pause and breathe, to feel, to own it,
To look within and see what's true,
And find the path that's right to pursue.

I'll take the time to rest and heal,
To let my heart and soul reveal,
The thoughts and feelings tucked away,
That need attention, come what may.

I'll seek the peace that comes with still,
And let my mind unwind and fill,
With all the beauty life can bring,
And all the joys that make me sing.

For myself, I'll find the strength,
To carry on, no matter the length,
To face the challenges I meet,
And rise above with steady feet.

I'll take the time to laugh and play,
To find the joy in every day,
And treasure every moment spent,
In this amazing life, well-meant.

For myself, I'll be my guide,
In all the highs and lows I ride,
And never lose the hope and light,
That shines within, forever bright.
