Sidhi's pov
It was 8:00 in the morning me and Tina both were sleeping suddenly we heard maa shouting "uth jao maharaniyoon or kitna sona hai tum dono yaha itne kaam baaki hai or tum dono ko sone se hi phursat nhi hai"
"Haan maa bass 10 min Mai uth rhe hai" i replied back in my sleepy voice and after that sleep again engulfed me
We were sleeping peacefully but suddenly a jug of cold water landed on both our faces and we both woke up with shock and looked towards each other when maa said from behind '" 10 min ke to 2 ghante ho gaye hai per tum dono ke uthne ka naam nhi hai"
"Aacha aacha Mata Shri aa rhe hai bas 10 min do hum dono ko" I replied to maa to which Tina just nodded in yes then maa left from our room
As I said we went downstairs after 10 mins and went straight to the dining area where everyone was already sitting.
I went behind papa and hugged him from behind and complained about maa "papa dekho na maa subah pehle aapki masoom hi beti ko dant Rahi hai bilkul pyaar nhi karti hai aapki Mrs. Mujhse" and looked towards maa.
" Kya hua Mrs. Kyu daant rhi hai aap humari princes ko" papa replied
"Haan haan ye to inti seedhi hai na subh se utha rhi hu isse pucho isse or ye haai ki uthne ka koi naam hi nhi hai aabhi ye halat hai pata nhi shaadi ke baad kya hoga iska" maa said while looking at me
" Ohho Mrs. Aaise kyun bol rhi ho or dekhna sab sambhal legi humari beti" papa replied
They both were now busy in their conversation when I don't know why but shaadi ki baat triggered me and unknowingly words left from my mouth in a serious tone
" Maa mujhe koi shaadi nhi karni hai to please aap is baare mai baat na kare"
Maa - papa just looked at me and bhai calmed me down by saying "kya hogya hai bacha maa to sirf mazak Mai bol rhi thi tu serious kyu ho gayi"
"Kuch nhi bhai, sorry maa and papa, I guess we all should have breakfast" i said
Everyone just nodded and Tina signed at my reply and we all silently had our breakfast. I don't know why but this love, wedding, and trust thing always triggers me.
I didnt know that days will pass this early here as only 2 days are left in Bhai's wedding functions coming here was afterall not as weird as I thought.. I was thinking all this when maa called and by hearing maa's voice I went near her
"Kya hua maa" I said
" Beta sirf do din bache hai shaadi mai or kuch zaruri saman Lana aabhi bhi baaki hai or Teri wo dress bhi ready ho gyi hogi na to wo bhi laani hai to please tu or Tina market Jaa aao" maa replied
"Okay maa, aap mujhe list dedo kya kya Lana hai Mai or tina market se le aayenge and aap tension mat lo sb kaam ho jayenge" I replied back to which maa nodded in yes and then I went to my room to get ready.
Today I wore black fitted crop top with black loose trousers and cream coloured long summer coat and preferred to keep my hairs open and matched it with my black and white sports shoes and black hand bag.
We both went to the market and firstly bought all the things that maa mentioned in the list from the local market then we both went to the mall from where we had to pick my dress.
As we both were walking in the mall I got a call from One of my patients as I was talking to her I suddenly collided with someone and his file fell on the floor.
As I touched his shoulder I felt a different but known feeling by ignoring my feelings i immediately disconnected the call and started picking the papers and files from the floor while collecting the papers I said "hey! I'm so sorry I was a little distracted and didn't saw you coming" and without looking at him handed him the paper.
As I again stood at my place I saw that man already left from there by seeing him moving I also started moving forward as I was moving I saw another man going in the same direction.
When I saw his face I was a bit shocked and happy to see him after all these years and by running behind him I called his name
"P...parth....Parth"
Just then while turning back and without noticing me he replied " yes"
And then he noticed
"Sidhi hey!" He said
I just felt tears in my eyes as I saw my friend after all these 7 years and replied "hey! How are you"
"I'm good but what about you, where were you all these years, didn't you miss us but all these years" he bomber back with questions
A little chuckle left from my mouth by seeing that he didn't change a bit and with tears in my eyes I replied
"Aaisa nhi hai Parth...I..m...missed you all so much a..and" as I was trying to say more tears started flowing from my eyes
By seeing me like this Parth immediately hugged me and said " hey calm down you don't need to explain anything and I really missed you sidhu now stop crying and let's sit and catch up about everything"
To which I just nodded in yess and then we all went to nearby cafeteria and i introduced parth and Tina to each other
We all were looking at each other when parth suddenly asked " so tell me everything like where were you all these years and what are you doing right now"
" Um...I live in Bangalore now and came here just to attend my Bhai's wedding and well I'm a pediatrician" i replied with a smile
" Then fir after the wedding wapas Bangalore???" He asked
" Yes, after bhai's wedding...I will leave" i replied
To which he just nodded and there was a sudden silence between three of us and in between that silence i noticed that Tina wasn't saying anything today instead she was just stealing the look at parth and I know that parth might have noticed it too because in between our conversation he was also glancing at her in every 10-15 mins, at first I thought to ask Tina what's going on in her mind but then I shrugged it off by thinking that I will ask her later I was thinking this when to break the silence parth suddenly asked
"why didn't you told us where you were going and you are coming back"
After listening hum I just looked at my coffee and mumbled " you know what happened 7 years back and how bad were the situations, I was so shattered and not so strong to stay there and handle it"
"I understand you don't need to explain it" parth replied
I just nodded in yess and then we had some normal conversation and we exchanged our contacts, after half an hour we both bid byes to each other with the hope of seeing each other again.
While I was leaving parth suddenly said "uske liye nhi puchogi"
I just looked at him and with a stern voice i replied " I don't know tum kiske baare me baat kar rhe ho"
"Hmm" with sad smile parth replied back
"See you soon parth and yes you are invited to the bhai's wedding" I said
After saying bye we finally bid good bye to each other
I was so happy to see my long lost friend today after all these years and everything felt the same our bond was still the same.
But on the other side that one question kept continuously ringing my head like a reminder "uske liye nhi puchogi....wo kaisa hoga kya wo mujhe yaad karta hoga"
While I was lost in my thoughts I didn't knew when we already reached home...after reaching home we all had dinner and talked about the certain things and after dinner as after a long tiring day we both went to my room and laid on bed and I don't know while thinking about today and about him when sleep engulfed me...
