~ARU POV~
When I got home, I collapsed onto my bed. and then i shot out of it.
"OH SHIT"
"LANGUAGE BETA, LANGUAGE" My mom yelled from the kitchen downstairs.
I had forgotten to get Aiden's number. Suddenly I heard thumping and my mom cursing under breath.
"ARU I'M GOING OUT OKAY YOU JUST STAY HERE DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR-"
"-TO STRANGERS I GOT IT OKAY"
"OH AND YOUR BOYFRIEND WILL BE COMING OVER IN A FEW MINUTES OKAY"
"HE'S NOT MY-"
I then heard the door slam. I grumpily walked to my bathroom to change into my spiderman pajamas. Once I finished, I shoved on my headphones and started listening to music. Soon, I heard the doorbell ring. I grabbed a step stool to look through the peep hole. I saw Aiden, standing there with his camera and nervously shuffling his feet. My music was still blasting so I simply shrugged and walked back into my room. And then mid step i froze. That was Aiden. I scrambled to the door. I opened it, out of breath.
"Hiiii"
"Hi"
Aiden took off his shoes and I let him in.
"Soooo, the assignment" I said, not sure what it was because I maybe wasn't paying any attention.
"The assignment is that we're supposed to make a fictional story"
"So, I was thinking-"
I lowered the volume of my headphones but kept them on. We continued brainstorming until sirens started blaring. Uncle Boo burst into the house, out of breath and looked like he was in distress.
"Wait Uncle Boo?"
"No time to explain, both of you have to come with me."
