The rest of the week had gone by faster than what any of us had realized. Black Mask's murder by an unknown assailant along with all of his men had been plastered all over every local news outlet and social media. We all figured out right away that it was the work of whoever Batgirl had warned us about. But none of us had heard anything from else from Batgirl or Batman himself. In fact I hadn't seen him since before Waller had taken me. However the last time we did see each other his didn't even look at me as we talked. I could come up with a number of reasons why he would be pissed off at me but I believe it would actually have something to do with the fact that I have several beautiful, but crazy and extremely dangerous women living with me. One of which is a literal alien from a people he knows nothing of, and another one being someone that tried to kill him and is still wanted in fuck I don't know how many countries.
Thankfully that wasn't my biggest worry at the moment. Currently I was stuck behind some dick bag that wanted to sit at the light in front of me.
"Come on, the light is green jackass!!!"
I yelled as I honked but received a middle finger.
"Real mature..."
I muttered as I rolled my eyes. But when I checked my phone I had 10 minutes to get to work, and the light just turned yellow.
"To hell with this!!!"
I had enough room that I could speed around the guy's blind spot, allowing me to shoot past him and through the intersection before traffic started to flow again.
How I didn't catch any cops I didn't know, but I was able to make it to work on time my first day. All I had to do was think WWVDD; What would Vin Diesel do? From there I had been introduced to everyone and instructed on how the Delivery system worked. Reggie Bowman was my Boss's name, so far he seemed like an okay guy. Judging by how he smelled which wasn't intentional because every time you're even near the guy you could smell that good good wafting through the air. But within my first hour I already had 17 open deliveries.
"Alright new guy, your up!"
Reggie exclaimed as I hurried in an out of the store with all of the orders and rushed them to wherever they were supposed to be.
What I hadn't been told though was that the delivery area was all of Miagani Island. My head started to ache just thinking about all of that. Some people bitched about how long it was taking me and so I wasn't given a tip on more than half the pies I delivered. I even told them that they weren't the only people I had to make a delivery to. One was even a Karen in both name and personality.
"Who the hell are you?!!"
She spat.
"Uhh, Damien? I'm here with your order."
I replied.
"I need to see some identification now!!"
She demanded before trying to reach for my pockets.
"Fuck off lady!!"
I snapped back as I flung her pie like a Frisbee over her head through her door and hurried out of there before she could lie on some bullshit. Thankfully once my day had ended I was notified that the amount of miles that I traveled would be counted towards my tips. Which ended up being $60 and some change, but I had to fill up the tank and actually ended up taking home a whopping $3.
"Ugh, fuck my life."
I muttered before walking through the door.
"I'm home!"
I called out to everyone as Blackfire, Harley, Jinx, and Ivy were the first to greet me.
"Welcome back Bumgorf!!"
Black says as she wore some sexy but skimpy underwear.
"Mista D!!"
Harley squealed as she shoved Blackfire aside, wearing my Punisher tank top and a pair of black and red lacy underwear.
Jinx then shoved Harley aside as she wore a crop top hoodie with nothing underneath as it was also unzipped most of the way while she also wore fluffy Maleficent pajama pants.

Ivy on the other hand was still wearing her outfit from work same as me.
"Welcome home Damien."
I couldn't help but crack a smile as Caitlin and Larissa sat on the bar stools at the counter.
"Make any good tips?"
She asked as Harley, Blackfire, and Jinx all blushed to an extent.
"I'm not talking about that kind of tip."
"Hehehehehe."
The previously three that were mentioned giggled as I held up the $3 and put it on the counter before going on to tell them all about my first day.
"It's whatever though, not like it's going to be like this forever. I mean it's only my first day so."
Harley gave me a warm smile as I sat down on the couch.
She then walked over to me as Blackfire floated in the air to my right while Jinx sat on the couch to my left, and wrapped her arms around me from behind.
"But I sure hope that this lasts forever."
She whispered before kissing me gently on my neck.
It had felt to me like one of those moments where you can't help but relish what was happening in the now. With everyone sitting around me I was thankful that I was even able to do so to begin with. I took Harley's hands in mine as she hugged me while feeling butterflies in my stomach at the same time.

I said with an evil smile as I pulled Harley over my shoulder and held her down.
"I would also like to see you all tickle the ever loving fuck out of her!!!"
"Nooo!!"
Harley screamed in protest as the others refused to listen.
"No mercy, hahaha!"
Jinx laughed.
"Hahaha wait wait wait, time out!!"
Harley pleaded.
"And why should we stop?"
Ivy asked.
"Cause Mista D can do something that none of ya have seen yet!"
She exclaimed as the others looked to me.
"Whatever do you mean Harley?"
I asked.
"You can play the guitar and sing."
When she said this the others were surprised.
"When we went out on our first date he played Bad Romance by Jay Smith Official."
Blackfire was delighted to hear this as she pulled on my arm and got in my face.
"Oh you must play something Bumgorf, it would be most pleasant to see these other talents that you have!"
"Erm, yeah sure."
I say scratching my head.
"I just gotta get my AMP, Mic, and my guitar set up."
It hadn't taken me long to go and get my stuff set up. To be honest I hadn't played this guitar for some time. The other one that I had used when Harley and I went out was just provided.
"All right ladies, hope you can all forgive me if I'm a bit rusty. I don't play very often but I hope you can appreciate this number because it's an original."
Once I finished strumming the last note I noticed that Harley, Ivy, Jinx, Blackfire, even Caitlin and Larissa were either tearing up or at least on the verge of tears.
"That was amazing Mista D."
Harley said as she wiped her eyes.
"Anyone ever tell you that you have the voice of an angel?"
Jinx asked before she realized what she had just said.
"Haha, I mean what?!"
"Where did you learn to play so beautifully Bumgorf?'
Blackfire asked as I aimlessly played a few notes.
"*Sigh* I didn't grow up in what you would call a loving home. My father was a real drunken piece of dog shit. My mom wasn't any better even though she was a victim like I was. Unlike me she chose to use her fear as an excuse to let him do whatever he had wanted."
I continued to play as I briefly thought about what I was going to say next.
"Having said all that you could imagine what my childhood was like. Got suspended more times than I could count because I was getting into so many fights. Spent most of my time away from school in the beginning because of how shitty it was. The only good thing that I had was my friend Jason. He and I would always be getting into some shit, whether it be on the street or the playground. This one time I wanted to get out of the house to get away from my parents and then Jason had brought me over to his uncle's house. Apparently his uncle used to play in a band when he was a teenager but ended up using that money to become a drug addict. Somehow he wasn't that bad of a guy despite being a meth head. He taught Jason and I how to play before he overdosed on some new stuff that had taken to the streets back then. But yeah, that's just a small little slice that is my life."
"And you used music as your escape from all that was going on at home."
Caitlin had assumed correctly so I simply nodded.
"Why are you not in contact with Jason now, did you two have a falling out?"
Ivy asked as I then shook my head no.
"I don't know where he went. One day we were set to meet the night after he went to go strip some cars for parts and after that I never heard from him again. I even checked the obituaries to see if he was dead but I found nothing."
I stopped plucking the strings as my mind took me down memory lane.
"Come on Damien, hurry your ass up!!"
Jason shouted as I zoomed past him.
"I could say the same thing to you haha!!"
I laughed from over my shoulder as we ran down the alleyway. Kicking over trash cans and jumping over whatever debris was in our way.
"Let's go let's go!! They have the new Issue of Civil War and their bound to be going fast!"
Jason sighed as he hurried after me around the corner.
"Your such a fucking nerd you know that?!!"
I rolled my eyes as i started to show off and skip backwards without running into anyone or anything.
"I'd rather be a nerd than someone with dick breath like you!!"
"The fuck did you say to me you little shit?!!"
Jason roared as he charged after me.
The rest of the event played in my head like an old film reel as I couldn't help but laugh.
"Are you okay?"
Larissa asked as she gestures towards the tears rolling down my face.
"Yeah."
I said as I wiped them away.
"I'll be fine."
2 Days Later.....
The last couple of days had gone pretty much the same as the first. Customers were always calling me directly to ask me where their food was while I was stuck in rush hour traffic. Even though a few called to cancel their orders, the upside was that more people had tipped today and very generously might I add. On top of that those cancelled orders I was able to take home with me so that I could save Ivy or myself a night of cooking up another F-5 Hurricane in the Kitchen.
But then when I was about several blocks away from the parking lot at my apartment, a pregnant woman and her little girl had been dragged into an alley as several people passed them by without giving so much as a single fuck. I peeled off down the alley and parked to where their only way out was through me.
"Hey, leave them alone!!!"
I yelled at them as I slammed my door.
"Hehehe, you can have what's left after the boys and I have our fun!!"
The main goon laughed as he pulled a switch on me.
"Not gonna happen asshole!!"
I said as I ran in head first, narrowly dodging the man with the knife as he tried to slash me.When he tried to stab me I side stepped as I grabbed his wrist and performed a joint lock. Following that up with a chop to his throat and finally hooking my leg behind his and palming his face into the ground. The other two looked at me infuriated, but their attention was off the pregnant woman and her daughter.
"Run now and head straight for home, don't stop until you get there!!"
"Thank you!!"
The woman yelled back as she scooped up her daughter and ran like the devil.
"Chicken legs licken legs, slice and dice!!"
One of them grinned as they also had a switch blade.
"Heh, that's cute. Did you're husband over there get you that for your anniversary or something?"
I asked as I pointed my thumb over my shoulder.
"Grrrrrr, shiv the spud!!"
The other shouted as they both charged me.
When they came charging at me from either side I decided to put Harley's training to further use.
I then threw a right cross and caught the one to my left in the chin. From there I flipped him over my shoulder as the one to my right go up and came charging at me. As they were on the ground I felt my insides twist and sting a little bit which caused me to wince, other than that I was alright.
"Go on then and get your asses up, I fucking dare you!!!"
None of them even tried as I gave them my best Batman like scowl. Typically in situations like this, one would normally stick around to give the police a statement. But seeing as how I've had enough problems recently I thought it be better if I just left. Luckily I found zip ties sitting up against the wall of the alley. So I quickly went about tying up the three goons before hurting back to my car and speeding across the bridge for home.
Short Timeskip.....
Of course the girls had noticed my swollen knuckles not even a minute after I walked through the door. Even though I had originally planned on telling them what happened after we ate they still demanded that I told them so I told them anyway. I asked.
"The caller you are trying to reach is currently tied up at the moment."
A man on the other line said, causing my blood to boil.
"However if you would like for me to take a message..."
"Damien it's the guy, the guy that Mmph!!"
Jinx screamed.
The girls immediately knew what was going on but it seemed that whoever he was knew of this.
"Tell them all to stand down..."
A bunch of red dots seemed through the window at each one of their heads.
"Or else."
"Damien.."
Caitlin muttered.
"Mista D..."
Harley muttered as well while Blackfire was like stone. Ivy kept looking to the sapling and everyone around her but I shook my head.
"The fuck do you want, and why bring any of them into this?!"
I growled.
"Oh well you see, that car that Jinx here gave you head in a little while back belonged to Black Mask who is currently no longer with us. You're girl here Damien has had multiple dealings with organized crime and others over the last several years. I'm going to be asking her a few questions and when she gives me everything I need to know I will give you a holler to come pick her up. Oh and when I do so I won't even be there. I still have business in Gotham so I'm still going to be around, just not for very much longer."
Without warning he hung up on me, the red dots disappeared. Leaving the rest of us to sit there and wonder, who the hell was this guy.

I'm planning on making this Arc either 5-8 parts in all.
Also I have to apologize once again. I know I kept saying that the next update would happen by next week but like I said, Red Hood is my favorite my favorite member of the Bat family so I couldn't helo myself when I found some extra free time on my hands.
I'm sure that some of you cam imagine what's going to come of these next few parts.
Not only that but without spoiling as little as I can I will say that things are far from over. I will be exploring all that I can think of within the DC Universe as well as comics, the DCEU, CWDCU, Titans, Teen Titans from 2003 as I'm sure your already aware, and so on.
