I heard my doorbell ring but I didn't bother answering it. I just laid in bed looking up at the ceiling thinking about matty. I hadn't been able to stop thinking about him since he tried getting with me. I regretted not giving in. I wanted him more than anything.
"y/n can you get the goddamn door!?" I heard my dad shout from his bedroom but I ignored him. I didn't care who was at the door. I hadn't spoke to my friends in a week, that's when matty tried getting with me. a week ago. I hadn't even been to school luckily my dad lied and told them I had the flu and that it was contagious so they gave me the whole week off.
It was friday now.
I heard my dad let out an annoyed groan before I heard him walk down the stairs and the front door open. I also heard voices but I didn't know who it was nor did I care.
"she doesn't really wanna see anyone right now" I heard my dad say. I was intrigued to know who it was, my friends had been knocking every single day all week trying to talk but I just wouldn't. My phone was going off all the time too.
"okay okay she's in her room" i heard my dad reply to whoever this person was. who the hell was he letting in?
I heard footsteps running up the stairs but there were multiple people. My door swung open revealing Franky, Grace, Liv and Mini. I let out a sigh and sat up.
"what are you doing here?" i questioned.
"we're taking you out tonight!" Grace exclaimed grinning.
I shook my head. "no no way I don't feel like going out tonight" laying back down looking up at the ceiling.
The four of them sat down on my bed and I felt their eyes on me. "your coming out tonight wether you like it or not, I don't know what's wrong with you but you need cheering up" Liv said smiling.
"if this is all about a boy then get up because we're going to glam you up and your going to get laid tonight, my bestie is not spending her Friday night in bed upset over a boy" mini said placing her hand on top of mine comfortingly.
I guess it wouldn't hurt going out tonight. Maybe it would help me get my mind off of things and by things I meant Matty. "Okay" i mumbled quietly.
"great! wait here I'll run you a bath" gracie said running out of my room. I couldn't help but smile.
"thank you guys for coming over" i said sitting up and the three of them smiled.
"I'll pick you out an outfit" mini replied standing up and looking through my closet.
"I'll do your makeup" Liv grinned.
"and uh I'll put on some music" franky said making me smile again.
"okay that sounds good" i replied. I was honestly looking forward to going out. It had been a while and gosh I needed a drink.
We all began getting ready to go to a party tonight. This is what Mini had picked out for me to wear:
After changing into the outfit Mini and Liv had both done my hair and makeup. We were getting ready for three hours straight.
"is it just us girls going out tonight?" i asked randomly. I wondered if Matty was going to be there too.
"no all of the guys are coming too" Liv answered as she applied blush to my cheeks with the makeup brush.
I couldn't help but smile. I wonder if that meant Matty was coming too. I slightly hoped that he would but at the same time I hoped he wouldn't too. I don't even know what id say to him if did he show up. I suppose I'd just decide in the moment.
"y/n I actually have to ask you something" Mini says as she blended my makeup. I looked at her in the mirror making eye contact, I was a little confused on what she had to ask me.
"you've been upset because of a boy right?" She asked and I let out a sigh before nodding my head. "is it nick? I know you two used to be together when you were younger so if your still in love with him I understand"
I couldn't help but laugh which confused her. The other girls just continued getting ready. "I don't love nick." I reassured her.
"then who is it? rich?" Mini questioned and I saw Grace frown but as soon as I shook my head she smiled.
"Alo?" Liv questioned.
"No chance" I laughed as did they.
"Ryder?" Mini questioned trying to hold in a laugh.
I pulled a disgusted face making liv laugh at my reaction. "then who is it? do we know them?" Liv asked raising an eyebrow with a smirk on her face.
"Yeah you all do" I replied. I didn't care if they found out who it was.
"no fucking way!? matty?" Liv and Mini both said at the same time.
I felt my face heat up a little. Mini spun the chair round so I was looking at her and she said "oh my god! tell us everything"
I explained to them the whole situation about me staying over at nicks whilst Nick was staying at Mini's and about when I went downstairs to get a drink and matty was kissing my neck. And then when he took me to his room so I could prove that I didn't love him, which I really fucking did. I really fucking loved matty. They were all shocked at the story and laughing.
"so if you really love him then why don't you go out with him?" gracie asked confused.
"i wanted to make sure nick was okay with it. I know that me and him are well over each other but their brothers. I didn't want to make the whole group weird and awkward." I explained and they nodded understanding where I was coming from.
"I don't think nick would care. I think he'd want you both to be happy" frankie smiled.
"yeah I suppose so" I replied.
Mini placed her hand on mine comfortingly and said "I'll talk to Nick" and I smiled and thanked her. I thought maybe it would sound better coming from her since he pretty much agreed to anything she said.

"y/n come dance with me!!" frankie exclaimed grabbing my hand the second we entered the party and pulling me to the dance floor with her.
I followed her to the dance floor and we began dancing.I was dancing like there wasn't anybody else in the room and I hadn't even had a drop of alcohol yet.
A hand tapped my shoulder causing me to turn around to see a boy that was around my age with blonde scruffy hair. "Hey im Alex!" he shouted over the loud music.
"I'm y/n!" I shouted back.
He leaned closer and said "can I get you a drink?" before pulling his head away.
I guess it couldn't hurt getting a free drink but I had to let him know I wasn't interested in him because I didn't wanna lead anybody on. I leaned closer to his ear and said "yeah sure but uh im talking to somebody right now so." pulling my head away and looking at him.
He let out a chuckle and shouted "im gay! don't worry im not tryna hit on you, I just moved into the neighbourhood and you seemed cool I thought we could be friends" he smiled.
I smiled back at him. "Yeah okay!" I shouted back over the music.
He held out his hand and said "come on let's go to the bar!" i laughed and held his hand before he pushed through the crowd to the bar, me following behind him.
We sat down at the bar as the bartender walked over. We ordered our drinks as well as multiple shots for the both of us. "cash or card?" the bartender asked.
"Uh cash!" Alex said as he pulled out a massive stack of cash. what the fuck? my eyes widened. I don't think I had ever seen this much money in my life, there had to be at least a few grand.
He paid for the drinks and put the money back in his pocket before looking at me. "I like to gamble" he said referring to the money and I nodded. He must've been good at gambling to win that much.
After we drunk the shots that we had just brought. "so who's the lucky boy that your talking to then?" he asked raising an eyebrow.
"my ex's brother" i said making him laugh.
"oh wow uh does he happen to be at this club by any chance?" he questioned which confused me a little. I raised an eyebrow.
He nodded his head into a direction so I turned my head to look where he was and to see Matty sat with Nick and Mini. Nick and Mini were both talking but Matty was just glaring at the boy sat opposite me. "he's been glaring at me since we sat here" he laughed.
I looked back at alex and laughed before saying "yeah that's him."
He nodded his head and asked "so are you two official or just friends?"
I explained the whole situation to him and he nodded his head in understandment. "wanna make him jealous?" alex joked wiggling his eyebrows up and down.
I laughed and said "don't really feel like causing any fights today" making him chuckle.
"oh come on, it'll be fun. plus did you know that pissed off sex is the best kinda sex" he smirked.
I rolled my eyes and laughed. "I wouldn't know, I've only slept with one guy and it was terrible"
"then my mission tonight is to get my new friend laid by her ex's brother" he grinned confidently grabbing his drink and downing the rest of it.
I did the same before he grabbed my hand and pulled me to the dance floor. We reached the dance floor and began dancing together.
I moved my hands over alex's shoulders causing the both of us to let out a little laugh. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer. I think if anyone was watching they'd think we were together but that was absolutely not the case at all. We were just two friends having fun.
As we were dancing a hand gripped my arm and I felt alex's hands disappear from my waist. I turned around to see Mini. "what are you doing? I thought you were into matty?" she asked confused.
I laughed and replied "I am."
"then what are-" she began saying.
"I'm alex. I'm gay" he said to her smiling and her face relaxed looking a little bit embarrassed.
"oh..right well I've spoke to nick and he's okay with you and matty being together" she said looking at me.
I couldn't help but smile. "Okay I'll talk to matty later" i replied. I was having fun dancing with alex. He seemed like a laugh. I could tell we were going to be good friends.
She nodded and walked away.
"wanna make him even more jealous?" alex said smirking wiggling his eyebrows up and down again making me laugh.
"sure" I simply replied. I wasn't bothered about making him jealous but I was having fun so I agreed.
"Follow my lead" he replied before putting his hand out for me to hold which I did. He pushed through the crowd and walked over to where most of my friends were sat.
They looked over at us and we sat down with an unreadable look on their face.
"this is my new friend alex" I introduced to them.
Alex just smiled as he put his arm round my shoulder. "Hi" he simply said to them.
I made eye contact with Nick who raised an eyebrow probably confused since Mini had just told him that I liked matty and now I had another guys arm around me. But Alex was gay so it didn't matter, they didn't know that though.
We were all just drinking and talking. Matty and I kept making eye contact and I could tell that he was pissed off. I knew I had to talk to him.
I heard my phone ping so I pulled my phone out of my pocket to see a message from matty.
Matty: who the fuck is this boy
I couldn't help but laugh. was he really jealous? I looked at alex who looked at my phone as soon as he noticed me look at him. He laughed and shook his head.
He leaned close to my ear and whispered "tell him im gay. i think he's pissed off" the both of us laughing.
I texted matty back.
Y/n: my new friend, he's gay
I got an instant reply.
Matty: oh! good.
Matty: come dance with me?
I smiled at his message
Y/n: i thought you HATED dancing
Everytime we went to a party as a group matty would always just sit at the bar drinking and anytime anyone asked him to dance he'd refuse because he apparently hated dancing. Clearly not
Matty: I do, but I'd always dance with you ;)

Y/n: okay let's go dance
I looked over at him to see him standing up and he walked over to me and put his hand out for me to grab. I held his hand and we walked to the dance floor together ignoring the looks from our friends.
We made it to the dance floor and his hands moved to my waist as he pulled me closer. We moved our bodies to the sound of the music whilst looking into each others eyes.
God I really fucking loved him.
"Can I kiss you?" he randomly asked breaking the silence.
"you don't have to ask" I replied smiling up at him.
He smiled back at me before one of his hands moved from my waist placing it on the side of my face. He leaned down so his face was in level of mine before he closed the gap between us.
I pushed my lips against his kissing him back straight away. Our lips moving in sync sharing a passionate kiss before we both pulled away breathing a little heavier.
He leaned his forehead against mine and whispered "do you wanna be my girlfriend?"
A huge smile formed on my face. "id love to" I replied.
