Haseena was folding the clothes silently..but anyone could sense her anger which was silent right now.
"Haseenaji", Anubhav uttered with courage but gulped in fear immediately as she shot a glare at him.
AS(to himself)- Murkh ho tum, Anubhav Singh...
"Accha, ab baat bhi khudse hi karenge..", Haseena started with her first taunt of the day.
AS- woh Haseenaji hum-
HM- Haseena 'ji' ?! Ab Haseena, Priye iss sab ki jagah hum Haseena 'ji' ho gaye? Haan, ab toh ho hi jayenge na..aapki nayi junior jo aa gayi hai..jiski baaton mein aakar aapne humein hi suna diya aaj..(tauntingly)

Haseena was completing her file when she heard everyone's salute outside. She went there and found Anubhav standing there. She noticed Tisha staring at him and fisted her palms. Tisha - a new addition in MPT. She had been appointed for training and experience in MPT under Haseena's guidance.
"Jai Hind Sir!", Haseena saluted, loud enough to break Tisha's daydreams..
AS - Jai Hind Haseenaji..(calmly)
HM- koi problem hai kya Sir?(sensing the anger in his tone)
AS- aapne file check karke headquarters bhejvayi thi?(sternly)
Haseena glanced at Tisha and then at Anubhav..
HM- ji nahi Sir, woh actually-
AS- humein kisi prakaar ka koi bhi bahaana nahi chahiye Miss Malik..! Aap jaanti hain kitna gambhir case hai yeh..fir iski report aapko apne netritv mein karni chahiye thi na?! (Angrily)
T- Sir Maddam Sir ne hi yeh file ready ki thi...(Everyone looled at her in shock..including Haseena)
AS- Miss Malik..aap abhi ke abhi saare corrections karengi aur do baje tak humein sahi entries ke sath yeh file chahiye. IG Sir khud iss case mein involved hain, hum aisi galtiyan afford nahi kar sakte.(coldly)
He walked out..Here everyone glared at Tisha for lying ofcourse.
T- S..sorry Maddam Sir..woh main..main dar gayi thi..(looking down)
KS- Ama tum galti karti ho phir uska saja bhi bhugatne ka himmat rakho na!(angrily)
HM- Karishma Singh, shaant ho jaiye. Nayi hai woh, ho jaata hai. Par ek baat yaad rahe ASI Tisha Dubey..hum ya iss department ka koi bhi officer jhoot ko bilkul support nahi karta. Aage se agar aapne aise kuch kiya toh majbooran humein DSP sir ko batana hoga...

Haseena forgave her and did the required corrections in the file. She reached the Headquarters at 1:50pm sharp and was about to knock Anubhav's cabin door, when she saw the scene in front of her and her anger knew no limits now. Anubhav was sipping coffee with Tisha...who was talking to him as if they were childhood friends. She noticed Tisha intentionally trying to get hold of Anubhav's hand..but he was unaware of that.
"May I come in, Sir?", they heard Haseena..Anubhav gulped as he knew this expression if hers. He nodded timidly. Haseena entered in style and put the stack of files on his desk with a small bang..expressing her anger.
HM- Jai Hind Sir..jaisa ki aap dekh sakte hain l, sabhi files ready hain aur 2 baj rahe hain..I hope ab aapko koi shikayat nahi hogi.
AS- V..very good Haseenaji..
HM gave a fake smile and glared at Tisha..she hurriedly stood up and saluted her.
AS- ASI Tisha, Aapko ab jaana chahiye..aasha karte hain aap samajh gayi hain jo humne kaha hai..
T- Bilkul Sir..aap kahe aur main na samjhun aisa kaise ho sakta hai..(AS widened his eyes..Haseena felt like slapping this girl)..I mean, aap kahe aur koi na samjhe aise kaise ho sakta hai..aap accha samjha lete hain...(nervously fumbled)...main jaati hun sir..Jai Hind! Jai Hind MS!
She practically ran away..Anubhav fixed his gaze on Haseena..who was still glaring at him angrily.
HM- I think humein bhi jana chahiye Sir.
AS- Haseenaji aap coffee pikar jaiye na..

Haseena was playing with Ruhi when she noticed his gaze at her.
HM- Ruhi baby, apne papa ko bolo apna kaam kare, humein ghoorne se hum nahi maanne wale...(kissing Ruhi's cheek)
Ruhi looked at her father, who made a puppy face..and again looked at Haseena with a pleading face.
HM- matlab bolne bhi nahi aaya abtak par side apne papa ki logi tum..(angrily)
Ruhi bowed down..
AS- ab hamara gussa uss bechari par kyu nikaal rahi hain Priye...(HM glared at him)...maan jaiye na🥺
She turned her face other side and gave Ruhi her doll to play with. She again went outside the room and Anubhav followed her.
Kitchen-
Haseena was gazing at the contents of fridge..trying to decided what to make..as it was just her, Anubhav and Ruhi..the parents had gone for a senior citizen trip of the locality.
"Khana hum bana dete hain", she heard Anubhav's voice.
HM- koi zaroorat nahi hai..(closing the fridge after taking a bottle gourd)..hum lauki bana rahe hain..
AS(mumbled)- hey prabhu, priye ka aisa mood upar se aaj lauki bhi khilvayenge aap..(making faces)
HM- nikaliye ab..kaam kijiye apna..(washing her hands)
Anubhav thought for a few minutes and an idea struck him. He grabbed the SaReGaMa Carvaan from the living room and played a song.

She blushed..but her smile turned into fear suddenly..
HM- Ruhi?! Woh akeli haina room mein? Bistar par hai woh bhi..pillows bhi nahi lagaye..aise kaise chhod aaye aap..abhi gir gayi toh..hum jaate hain..(she said in one breath and was about to run..when he pulled her wrist by one hand and closed her mouth from other)
AS- saans le lijiye pehle aap..(she blinked her eyes in confusion)..soo gayi hai Ruhi..thak gayi thi subah se khel-kudkar..palne mein soyi hai shaanti se apni doll ke sath..(smiled and took his palm off)
HM- oh..toh batana chahiye tha na..(he looled at her)..ha sorry..humne mauka hi nahi diya aapko..
AS- hmm..waise, aap sach mein lauki bana rahi hain?(with pleading eyes)
She chuckled and said- Nahi..yeh toh hamare soup ke liye hai..aaj hum soch rahe the aapki paak kala ko hi mauka diya jaaye..
He smiled widely..
AS- Chef Anubhav Specials mein se kya khana pasand karengi aap..?
HM- um...unke haathon ki aaloo puri..mm..abbi se muh mein paani aa raha hai...(imagining)
AS- jo hukum rani sahiba..aap sthaan grahan kariye hum shuru karte hain..
HM- arre nahi maharaj..aap aise akele kaam karenge toh rani sahiba ko dukh hoga..aur waise bhi..kiso mahaan shaksiyat ne kaha hai ki jab do log sath mein kitchen mein khana banate hain toh khana..(joining her thumb and index finger) lajawab banta hai..(winked)
He smiled and they made their meal...
