Celestia Malfoy lounged on one of the plush sofas in the Slytherin common room, her silver-blonde hair cascading over the armrest as she listened to her friends chatter away. Daphne Greengrass, her best friend, sat beside her, their heads bent together in whispered conversation.

"I still can't believe Potter got selected as the Hogwarts champion" Daphne said, her tone dripping with disdain.

Celestia rolled her eyes dramatically. "Ugh, don't even get me started on that. It's utterly ridiculous. Like, what has he ever done to deserve it?"

Draco Malfoy, her brother, leaned against the fireplace, a scowl etched on his handsome features. "Exactly. It's all just a ploy to make him look like some hero. Typical Potter privilege."

The rest of the Slytherins murmured their agreement, nodding solemnly as they sipped on their butterbeer.

As the conversation shifted to lighter topics, Marcus Flint, accompanied by Blaise Zabini and Theodore Nott, sauntered over with smirks on their faces. Celestia eyed them warily, knowing all too well their reputation for troublemaking.

"Hey there, Celestia," drawled Marcus Flint, his voice smooth as silk. "Mind if we join you ladies?"

Celestia shot Marcus a knowing look, her guard already up. "We were just leaving, actually," she replied coolly, standing up and gesturing for Daphne to follow suit.

But Marcus, Blaise, and Theodore were persistent, blocking their path with cocky grins.

"Aw, don't be like that, Celestia," Blaise chimed in, his tone laced with arrogance. "We just want to spend some quality time with the prettiest girls in Slytherin."

Draco's expression darkened as he watched the scene unfold. Celestia shot him a warning glance, silently urging him not to intervene.

"Sorry, boys," Celestia said, her voice dripping with ice. "But we're not interested. Now, if you'll excuse us..."

With that, she grabbed Daphne's hand and swept past them, leaving Marcus, Blaise, and Theodore staring after them in disbelief.

Once they were safely out of earshot, Daphne burst into laughter, her blue eyes sparkling with mirth. "I swear, Celestia, you have a way with words."

Celestia grinned, feeling a surge of satisfaction. "Well, you know me. I don't tolerate fools lightly."

Draco caught up to them, his expression still stormy. "You didn't have to be so harsh, Celestia. They're just having a bit of fun."

Celestia raised an eyebrow incredulously. "Fun? More like harassment. Trust me, Draco, those boys are bad news."

Draco sighed, running a hand through his platinum-blond hair. "I know, I know. But sometimes it feels like I'm the only one who sees it."

As they made their way back to their dormitory, the conversation turned to lighter topics, their laughter echoing off the stone walls of the dungeon corridors.

Despite the drama of the evening, Celestia couldn't help but feel a sense of camaraderie with her friends. They may be ambitious and cunning, but when it came down to it, they always had each other's backs.

The walls of their dormitory buzzed with energy as Celestia Malfoy, Daphne Greengrass, Astoria Greengrass, Millicent Bulstrode, Tracy Davis, and Isla Flint gathered for a much-needed girls' night. Armed with snacks, drinks, and a pile of magazines, they settled in for an evening of gossip, laughter, and maybe even a bit of mischief.

"Alright, ladies," Celestia declared, a mischievous glint in her silver eyes. "Tonight, we spill all the tea. No secrets left unturned."

Daphne laughed, her blue eyes dancing with excitement. "Oh, this is going to be good. I've been dying to dish about that new defence professor."

"Ew Daphne! He's like what? 50?"

The girls giggled conspiratorially as they settled onto the floor, passing around a bowl of popcorn and flipping through the latest issue of Witch Weekly.

As the night wore on, their conversation veered from Hogwarts gossip to more personal topics. They shared stories of crushes, embarrassing moments, and dreams for the future, each revelation met with nods of understanding and bursts of laughter.

At one point, Millicent Bulstrode pulled out a box of magical beauty products, her eyes alight with excitement. "Alright, ladies, who's up for a makeover?"

The girls squealed in delight, eager to indulge in some pampering. They traded tips and tricks as they experimented with different hairstyles and makeup looks, each transformation more dramatic than the last.

"Wow, Celestia, you look stunning!" Tracy Davis exclaimed, admiring her handiwork.

Celestia grinned, feeling a surge of confidence. "Thanks! I might have to try out this new look more often."

As the night stretched on, the laughter grew louder and the bonds of friendship grew stronger. They talked until the early hours of the morning, unwilling to let the night end.

Eventually, exhaustion caught up with them, and they reluctantly bid each other goodnight, promising to do it all again soon.

As Celestia crawled into bed, a smile tugged at the corners of her lips. Tonight had been exactly what she needed - a chance to unwind, connect with her friends, and just be herself.

And as she drifted off to sleep, she couldn't help but feel grateful for the amazing girls she was lucky enough to call her friends. In a world full of challenges and uncertainties, having them by her side made everything just a little bit brighter.
