No One's P.O.V
~ A Couple Years Ago ~
A couple of kids were around their treehouse, while Mags is in his room doodling himself next to a dragon with a heart in the middle. Dreaming of seeing a dragon in real life, and hoping to even have a dragon of his own.
Little Aerrow: Hey Mags, whatcha drawing there?
Little Mags: It's me with a dragon, some day I'll get to see a dragon and be friends with it
Little Finn: That's suppose to be a dragon? HA! Dragons aren't even real
Mags felt devastated and began to cry, while Piper and Aerrow were glaring at Finn for making Mags cry.
Little Piper: Finn!!
Little Finn: What?
[SMACK]
Little Finn: OW~!! Ow!! Ow!! I'm sorry!!! Ow!! I said I was sorry!!!
While Piper chased after Finn with a pillow, Aerrow went to go check on Mags who curled up in his blanket and sobbing in silence. Aerrow sat next to him and patted his back.
Little Aerrow: Don't listen to Finn, he doesn't know what could be out there in Atmos. Tell you what, I promise you that when we can travel through the skies I'll help you find a dragon
Little Mags: [sniff] You promise?
Little Aerrow: I promise
Mags smiled and came out of his blankets to hug Aerrow while he looked stunned for a while until he hugged Mags back.
~ Present Time ~
A harsh thunder storm arrived as the Storm Hawks were traveling in the Condor, meanwhile Luna was moving boxes of her prototype bombs into her shelves when a box came tumbling down when the Condor moved backwards as Luna fell to the ground.
Aerrow: Grab onto something, guys!!
Luna got a hold of the bed when she noticed something particular inside the box and found a journal with writing on the cover that says "Mags Dragon Log", she picked up until she heard from the hallway Stork screaming.
Stork: Can't hold it together!!!
Junko: I got you, Stork!!!
Junko took control of the Condor and steered the Storm Hawks to safety causing everyone to sigh of relief, the storm has passed and everyone could relax knowing it was all over.
Aerrow: Good work, you two
Mags: Say, isn't Luna supposed to be here?
Aerrow: Luna!!
[Door Opens]
Luna: Hey guys, sorry for the delay but you wont believe what I found. A box filled with toys and other stuff including this journal that belongs to Mags [hand the journal to Mags]
Mags: No way!! I thought I lost this!! My Dragon log
Luna: Dragons? You like dragons
Aerrow: A lot
Piper: Never ending love for dragons
Mags: It's always been my dreams to meet one in person!!
Finn: Still, they don't-
[SMACK]
Finn: Owww~!!
Aerrow: I was wondering too where I kept it, after we left to start a new journey as the Storm Hawks, I remembered packing some of our stuff that I forgot that I put it in Luna's room. Sorry Luna, it was before you joined our squad
Luna: No worries
Aerrow: Now... Any idea where we are?
Piper: Way off course; here. We're at the very edge of the charted Atmos, Aerrow. A place called "Sky's End"
Stork: Yeah, our end, more likely
Luna: [gulp] I'm sure we'll survive, right?
Finn: [take the map] Here there be dragons
Piper: Sorry to say this Mags, but. Dragons don't exist anymore, those pictures are just decoration
Luna: Meaning, they're extinct?
Stork: Oh, no. They're real. I heard Sky Traders whispering about them all the time
Piper: Well, you shouldn't believe everything you hear, Stork. There's absolutely no way we're running into dragons out here
Luna: Then, anyone want to tell me what that is?!
The Storm Hawks looked out and to their shock, it appeared to be a ginormous dragon flying around, making Finn let out a girly scream while Mags stood there stunned and in awe of its beauty. All of the sudden it got a hold of the Condor, making everyone panic while Finn slid across the Bridge and fall flat.
[ROAR]
Finn: Let's get outta here!!!
Aerrow: Quick!! To your skimmers!! Mags c'mon!! Mags?!
Mags: Unbelievabl-WHOA!!!!
Aerrow grabbed Mags hand, making him snap out of it and hurry as everyone hopped on their skimmers and fly off Leaving Luna and Stork to steer the Condor and fly further away, meanwhile Mags, Aerrow, Finn, and Junko went off to distract it.
Finn: Man, this thing is huge!!!
Aerrow: But we're faster, Finn!!!
The dragon appeared and got a hold of the Condor again, while Stork and Luna clutched onto each other and let out a scream of terror. Finn took aim and shot the dragon, drawing it's attention towards him as he let out a scream and flew off while it breathes fire causing the Condor to get burnt while the windows are covered in charred smoke.
Piper: Whoa!
Stork: Not to worry. I've got this under control, Luna my dear if you wouldn't mind pulling the lever with both your hands
Luna: [teeth chatter] [high pitch voice] Nope
Stork: [sigh] I'll do it
Stork pulled the lever as the wipers wiped off the charred smoke, only to see the dragon coming at them again as Luna let out a screech while Stork steered the Condor away with the Dragon flying midair with the others flying ahead until Aerrow spotted something.
Aerrow: I think I found a chink in its armor. I'm gonna aim for that belly-button looking thing!
Piper [coms]: Aerrow, dragons hatch from eggs. Even if it was real, it can't have a belly-button!!
Aerrow: Well, then, Finn, Junko, Mags. You distract it while I aim for its imaginary belly button
Mags: What?! Aerrow wait!!
Aerrow didn't waste any time as the others try to distract it while Mags was feeling anxious about the idea, including Finn.
Finn: Aerrow? Whatever you're gonna do. I think now's a good time to do it!! Especially when I have a future with Luna if she chooses me!!!
Sure enough the dragon got a hold of Finn's pants and ripped it, revealing his underwear. Meanwhile, Aerrow got underneath the dragon and aimed at the belly-button as it stuns the dragon causing it to descend into the ground. The Storm Hawks cheered but Mags felt a bit disappointed but thrilled to have seen a dragon before his very own eye. They followed the location to when the dragon landed, causing Mags to quickly walk up to it so he could inspect it but stopped midway when he noticed something was wrong about it.
Finn: Huh, we actually took down a dragon! Sweet!
Junko: I didn't think dragons had brass vacuum housings and titanium turbine drives
Mags: They don't, this is a ship
Stork: Luna dear, you can let go now
Luna: [shivers] Nope, not happening
Mags: Luna, it's not real. You're acting like as if you're terrified of dragons
Luna: That's because I am afraid!! I heard scary stories about dragons
Mags: From whom?
Luna: My cousin Scorpio, when I was little, and also from Finn
Finn: [nervous laugh] I can explain
Mags gave him a stern stare that made him quiet, when suddenly the hatch started to unlock and open while Aerrow and Mags got ready to attack if necessary when they saw merging outside the hatch was a skyknight looking back at his ship distraught.
Male Sky Knight: EVERYTHING IS RUINED!!! YEARS OF WORK!!!! YOU'VE DOOMED THEM ALL!!!!!!
Aerrow: Sorry about your ship, but you attacked us first
Piper: And exactly whom have we "doomed"?
Male Sky Knight: Oh, it's true that I attacked you first, and- and for that I-I beg your pardon, as I see now that you are the Storm Hawks
Mags: At least there's a third person who's acknowledged us as the "Storm Hawks"
Male Sky Knight: But I have a good reasons for my actions. I need to show you something [walks away] Oh! But by the way, the name is Rinjinn, last of the Dragon Knights
This left the Storm Hawks confused as they followed Rinjinn to what appears to be a cave, as they stopped midway and listened to his story.
Rinjinn: My dragon vessel was used to frighten away any ship that came too close
Finn: I wasn't scared
Rinjinn: Well, unlike you, people in these parts are superstitious. It was the best way to keep my little ones safe
Mags/Luna: Little ones?
Just then, he unleashed a bird-like call that made the others confused when they heard a loud screech from inside the cave, making Mags a bit curious until out came small baby-like dragons making Finn let out a girly scream.
Finn: RUN AWAY!!!!
He sped off running while Luna clutched onto Stork more, while Mags was staring in awe of the dragons when one flew near him making Mags freeze for a while until he reached out with his arm as his hands neared the little dragon, as a bead of sweat slid down to his chin when suddenly the little dragon nudge its snout against Mags hand and purred. This made Mags giddy and smile in delight, as it crashed into Mags chest while he held it in his arms, this caught Aerrow's attention as he watched Mags smile like a child receiving a wonderful birthday gift as he smiled at Mags and walked up to him, patting his back.
Aerrow: You see, told you I would find you a dragon, just didn't expect it to find us
Mags: [blushes] Y-Yeah
Aerrow: Hey Luna, come see the dragon
Luna: That's okay, I'm good over here in a safe distance
Mags: Luna, there's nothing to worry about. It's harmless
Luna:...
Aerrow: C'mon
Aerrow gently took Luna's hand as he lead her near Mags with the dragon in his arms, while Luna looked nervous and scared but Aerrow gently nudge her to get close. Luna hesitated but slowly reached out her hand while closing her eyes as Aerrow signaled Mags to bring the dragon close while it sniffs Luna's hand and gently licks her hand. This made Luna look up as she stared at the dragon eye to eye, Luna was fascinated by it's eye color making the dragon nudge it's snout against Luna's hand as she gently pets it while it purrs, making Luna smile and giggle like a child. This made Aerrow and Mags smile as the dragon flew out of Mags's arms while Luna followed after it and watched in awe as it flies around with its other siblings.
Luna: Whoa~ this is so cool!!
Rinjinn: Truly, the dragons are harmless. And, even more, they're now defenseless
Finn: Uh, yeah, you know what, if you say so... Um, maybe I should go back and, y'know, uh, guard the Condor or something
Mags: [mutters] Weak
Piper: I thought dragons have been extinct for... Forever?
Rinjinn: They were. The skies of Atmos were once dark with dragons, when Atmos built wings and took to the skies, dragons were considered a deadly threat that had to be stopped. They fought back in self-defense, only to be hunted to extinction. Bedtime tales of dragon wickedness filled young minds, and hardened young hearts. The age of dragons was over. So when I came across a clutch of unmatched eggs I knew it was my destiny to care for them. In doing so I've learned that these are not beasts, but friends
Luna: Just like you and Radarr, Aerrow
Rinjinn: This place has been the dragons sanctuary against those who would hunt or harm them
Piper: And we've opened you up to attack
Aerrow: We won't leave until we've helped you fix your ship
Mags/Luna: Yeah!!
Luna: And it's given me an idea for an amazing illusionist bomb to create, "The Dragon Bomb"
Mags: Already a fan of it
Luna left to quickly work on her new bomb as she painted a design for it, adding a dragon design on it which got Rinjinn and Mags approval, while she used colorful powder inside and sealed it so that wouldn't slip out as Luna smile in glee of her greatest creation when suddenly Radarr came back looking alarmed about something.
Junko: I think Radarr is trying to tell us something
Radarr: [squawk] [tapping his wrist and holding out four fingers]
Aerrow: Okay, four words
Radarr: [hold up one finger]
Piper: First word!
Radarr: [taps his eye ball]
Aerrow: Look
Radarr: [nods disagreeing]
Stork: See!
Junko: Saw!!
Finn: See-saw!!!
Luna/Mags: Eye?
Radarr: [squawk]
Piper: Eyeball!
Radarr nodded as he held two fingers indicating, second word but Finn got the wrong idea and held out three fingers, making Luna and Mags look annoyed but Luna found him silly.
Finn: Second word [held out three fingers]
Radarr: [point towards his eyeball]
Junko: Eyeball!
Radarr: [growls]
Junko: But you just... Okay
Radarr: [pretending to cut something]
Aerrow: Piston!! Eyeball piston?
Stork: Oh! Oh! Oh! The death throes of a three-armed swamp gobbler?
[Record scratch]
Mags: What did you see in Stork?
Luna: I find his paranoia cute and silly, but also interesting
Radarr: [growls] [pretends to cut something]
Piper: Reaching? Grabbing?
Finn: Sawing? Sea-saw!!
Luna: Oh dear~ Saw?
Aerrow: Eyeball saw!
Stork: Eyeball saw? Is that some kind of torture device
Luna: Radarr, straight to the fourth word! Now!!
Radarr quickly pointed at the dragons flying above them, that's when they all got the answer.
Junko: Um, dragons?
Radarr: [squawk] [thumbs up]
Junko: Yes!!! This is fun!!
Finn: Eyeball saw dragons!!
Stork: Eyeball saw dragons?
Luna: Eyeball saw the dragons... [gasp] [eye widen] Oh no, guys, I think I know what Radarr is talking about. Remember the Murk Raiders?
Piper: That means this place is about to be swarming with Murk Raiders!!!
Mags: Not just any Murk Raiders
Aerrow: Captain Scabulous, Luna! How far are you in completing your dragon bomb
Luna: It's almost completed but I haven't tested it yet, what if it messes up
Aerrow: Luna, you got nothing to worry about. Your bombs always come out... Eh, creative
Luna: [pout] Aerrow, I've had seven glitter bomb incidents that landed me in the infirmary
Aerrow: Yeah, but you survived. No enemy can handle your bombs
Luna: I guess
Aerrow: Keep at it, once it's succeeds we'll use it to distract the Murk Raiders
Luna: Alright
While Luna continued to finish the adjustments, she took it far to test it out where no dragons would get harmed by it. Meanwhile Aerrow and Mags took turn in scouting out the area to see if they spotted the Murk Raiders approaching.
Aerrow: Nothing yet, but they'll be here soon enough
Piper: We have to repair the ship
Mags: And protect the hatchlings! They're defenseless without protection from the ship
Aerrow: Don't worry about the hatchlings. Radarr, I need you to take the dragons to the caves and keep them out of sight. Luna! How is the-
Just then something fiery flew up into the air and erupted into an explosion as the sparks form a dragon like flying around and sounding like a roar as it moves like one, leaving the Storm Hawks and Rinjinn in awe as it neared towards them and disperse when it got close while Finn sped off in a girly scream.
Aerrow: Whoa~ Luna!! That was amazing
Mags: Yeah!! It was so beautiful it scared Finn off, screaming like a little girl
Finn: [glares] Hey!! I wasn't screaming! I was. Excited
Mags: [grin] Then why did you ran away?
Finn: It was a reflex
Mags: Sure it was
Luna: It's great, but it needs to last a bit longer, maybe I need to add more sparks so it can last longer
Aerrow: Alright, you all know what to do. You just have to do it before the raiders come
Mags: Luna, keep at it with the dragon bomb, we're really gonna need it
Luna: Got it
After Radarr fled with the hatchlings to a cave, Aerrow, Piper, and Stork got to work, while Radarr came back to help after finding a good hiding spot for the hatchlings. Finn was cleaning the rust off so it wouldn't look fake but genuinely real to the Murk Raiders. Meanwhile Luna got to work in testing out different bombs to see which one would make the comparable match to use against the enemy.
Aerrow: Well, Rinjinn, we're almost done
Rinjinn: Just a bit more time to patch up the hull and- Oh!
The Storm Hawks and Rinjinn looked up, only to have spotted the Murk Raiders already arriving at their destination, while Luna geared up and attached her new bombs into her belt.
Aerrow: Times up! Now we fight
Luna: I got the bombs ready, found the perfect comparable bomb and ready to blow these up in their faces
Scabulous [Bullhorn]: Surrender the hatchlings or I'll burn you where you stand
Finn and Aerrow flew high into the sky while Mags and Luna kept their distance as to not be spotted, while they distracted the enemy.
Luna: I wonder if he remembered about the present
Scabulous [Bullhorn]: AND I HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN ABOUT THAT GLITTERING PEST'S PRESENT THAT COVERED MY SHIP WITH DISGUSTING GLITTER!!!!!
Mags: What is he talking about?
Luna: Who knows, probably suffering from hallucinations [nervous laugh]
Finn: At least with this many ships it's impossible to miss
Finn got his crossbow ready and aimed, he pulled the trigger and fired indicating that they were going to battle instead. Aerrow flew from the side to slice one of the Murk Raiders ship as it goes down while Stork flew the Condor and blasted the ship as they avoided the canons, meanwhile Luna flew above ready to unleash the bombs.
Aerrow [Coms]: Mags, Luna!! Unleash the dragon
Luna: Copy that!
Mags: Time to distract these morons
Mags and Luna dropped three bombs as they erupted and the sparked like dragons appeared and flew around, distracting the Murk Raiders as Luna and Mags attacked the same ship, destroying it as it descends into the ground. They all started avoiding the attacks as they both flew next to Finn and Aerrow, with Luna on Finn side while Mags was on Aerrow side.
Aerrow: Finn, Luna. Over and under!!
Finn: Right!!
All four flew over and under from the side of the Murk Raiders ship and destroyed their canons one by one, with Mags shooting down some canons while Luna slipped some explosive bombs inside the canon to make them explode the same time when the canon is about to launch.
Finn: YEAH!!! BABY!!!!
Luna: WOOHOO!!!!! TAKE THAT!!!
Just then, more Murk Raiders arrived, making the Storm Hawks worry as they were surrounded.
Stork: This is bad! This is very bad!! Very bad!!!
Mags: Luna, another bomb real quick
Luna: I don't think we need to. Look!!!
Just then, the ship was repaired and the dragon from before appeared as it flew towards the ship and crashes into it, damaging the exterior walls on the Murk Raiders ship. When all of the sudden, they started blasting at the ship which made Luna think of an idea.
Luna: Mags, feeling like risking a dangerous mission
Mags: Knowing you, it might be creative with a little
Luna: Ka-boom
Mags: Aerrow, Luna and I are gonna invade the ship and cover it with explosives, won't be long
Aerrow [Coms]: Okay, be safe Mags
Mags: I will
While Mags and Luna went on their daring mission, the others heard this while Finn and Stork decided to tease Aerrow, while Piper giggled at their act.
Finn: Be safe~
Stork: I'll be so safe~
Finn: I'll be safe for you~
Aerrow: [blushes] You guys stop. Stop! I'm gonna kill you
Piper: But how will that keep us safe?
They all giggled and laughed while Aerrow was blushing in embarrassment, he was lucky that none of them didn't have a camera to take a picture of that moment. Their moment was cut short when they watch as the ship went down as they turned back to the Murk Raiders ship to see the canons appearing as it blasted the Condor causing it to tilt to the side, both Murk Raiders ship were attacking at the same time while Aerrow looked back at Finn.
Aerrow: Finn, we gotta get back to the Condor
While they both flew to the Condor, Luna and Mags were already in the Murk Raiders ship, setting the bombs in place as they rushed back outside to hop on their skimmers only to witness the Condor being pulled into the Murk Raiders ship as it got a hold of the Condor like last time while the others were surrounded by pirates.
Mags: We gotta rescue them
Luna: Yeah, but wait-
Luna followed after Mags as they neared before they could attack their friends, as they landed and slid across the runway glaring at Captain Scabulous.
Scabulous: Tell me where the dragons are, and you'll save yourselves a world of pain
Mags: [glares] I think not, unless you value your ship more than the dragons. See, Luna and I decided to take creative matters in placing her latest bomb, she calls it her "nuclear bomb" so unless you let us go and leave, Luna wont hesitate to make your ship go
Luna: Ka-boom
Scabulous: [grin] Well now, didn't think you had the girl that the Dark Ace is seeking out
Aerrow: Huh?
Piper: What are you talking about?
Scabulous: I'm saying that the girl over there has a bounty from the Cyclonians, whoever captures her and brings the girl to her fiancé
Luna: [glares] EX!!!!! HOW HARD IS IT FOR EVERY CRIMINAL TO REALIZE THAT HE'S MY EX???!!! OH MY GOD!!!!!
Scabulous: Will be rewarded greatly. Boys!! Grab the girl
Luna and Mags raised their weapons at them, when all of the sudden they heard a loud screech from the sky and spotted all the hatchlings flying towards them making the Storm Hawks grin when they spotted Radarr.
Piper: You wanted dragons
Mags: Now you got 'em!!
Luna: Good luck with their fiery breaths
They watched as the hatchlings bite into the pants of the two Murk Raiders, lifting them up into the air while Finn was laughing his butt off while Captain Scabulous and Eyeball were getting a wedgie from a hatchling. Soon they all heard a tear while Mags shielded Luna's eyes. After that, they fell to the ground while Mags couldn't contain his laugh and bursted out laughing.
Scabulous: Well don't just stand there starin' at our ginch!! Attack you dogs!!!
Mags: Time to get to work
Mags ran towards the pirates as he leaped up into the air, blasting any pirate with his energy pistol while Luna tapped on any pirate as they floated in midair while Mags took them out. Meanwhile Aerrow and Finn fought and punched a pirate while Piper blocked Eyeball's attack, when out of no where the hatchlings came at the pirates and attacked causing them to scatter and run for their dear lives while some of them jumped off the Condor and parachute down to the ground while Captain Scabulous and Eyeball were surrounded.
Eyeball: CAPTAIN!!!! THE BIG DRAGON, IT'S BACK!!!!
Scabulous: Looks like we've got ourselves some unfinished business
Just then, both Eyeball and Captain Scabulous left letting the Condor go and they sped off after the dragon ship, leaving the Storm Hawks to finish off the remaining pirates.
Aerrow: He's going after the dragon ship!!
Luna: Time for a ka-boom?
Mags: No!! Look!!!
Luna: [pout] Aww~
They watched as Radar called out the hatchlings as they flew after the Murk Raiders ship, while the dragon ship descends into the clouds they detected something behind the ship and spotted the dragon as they launched all crystals only for the dragon to disperse and avoid the attack as the energy hits the ships causing them to descend into the ground making Captain Scabulous growl in frustration. Little did he not know was that the dragon ship was behind him. Meanwhile, Luna was still pouting since she didn't get a chance to blow up the ship.
Aerrow: C'mon Luna, look on the bright side, you're safe
Luna: Yeah but I wanted something to ka-
[BOOM]
Finn: What the heck was that?
Luna: [grinning] MY KABOOM!!!!!! HAHAHA~!!!!!!
The Storm Hawks and Radarr arrived back with the hatchlings unharmed and spotted Rinjinn dragon ship landed as he and Junko came out, they all congratulated for a successful mission.
Finn: That was awesome!!
Rinjinn: Yes, but with the secret out, it will only be a matter of time before someone else comes back for the hatchlings
Aerrow: We've taken care of that
Just then, they heard a loud airhorn from above and spotted Tritons and the Neck Deeps, and even more sky knights, knowing them they'll ensure that the hatchlings will be safe.
Stork: Tritonn and the Neck Deeps?
Aerrow: All the Sky Knights have agreed to protect the hatchlings until they're old enough to fend for themselves
Rinjinn: Thank you all
Luna: It's the least we can do, after all we're one big famalia. We protect each other
Stork: Um, you don't have any idea how long it will take for the dragons to "grow up", do you?
Aerrow: I have a feeling you're about to tell me
Mags/Stork/Luna: 60 years
Aerrow: Uh, did I mention we'd be working shifts? [nervous laugh]
Afterwards it was nightfall and everyone stayed up to watch the stars on the ground while Aerrow and Mags are up on the roof of the Condor, watching the dragons fly around.
Mags: So~ is there any chance I can ask if we can care for a dragon?
Aerrow: Absolutely not
Mags: [pout] Why not? I'll take care of it! Feed it, wash it, and make sure it fend for itself
Aerrow: I don't think it's a good idea to take him away from his siblings, plus you'll pay more attention to it than me
Mags: Wait, are you jealous of a dragon taking my attention away from you?
Aerrow: [blushes] What?! No!! Of course not
Mags: Admit it~ you're jealous~
Aerrow: I am not
Mags: Don't deny it, denial is a river in Egy-eep!
All of the sudden, Mags was pinned to the ground while Aerrow stared at him. Anticipating of what he'll do next when all of the sudden he was being bombarded by Aerrow ticking him.
Mags: HAHAHAHA!!!! STO-HAHAHAHA!!!!
Aerrow: Take it back
Mags: NEVE-HAHAHAHAHA!!!!
Aerrow: Take it back, Mags~!!
Mags: Okay!! HAHAHAHA!!!! I'M SORRY!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!!!
Aerrow stopped tickling Mags while he tried to catch his breath, when he finally caught his breath, Aerrow smiled as he leaned close and closed the gap between him and Mags as they kissed under the stars.
