"So I took some time to think this over and the plan you laid out for me the last time was just so good, almost too good for me to pass up, but I'm still a bit weary on going through with it." Aaliyah said to Hunter as they met up again to discuss their plans for the first expansion project to Las Vegas, although Hunter had other ideas in mind for Aaliyah
"That's completely understandable, this is your first time and you don't want to mess up especially when it's not your average opening but across the country, however I believe you can do it. All it takes is a leap of faith and some confidence to succeed."
"This investment banker you know, is he really good?"
"The best, he's worked with countless celebrities, prestigious companies and I showed him your business model and he absolutely loved it. He wants to start investing in the company once you have it ready to go." He said as Aaliyah smiled
"Really? Do you know how much he'd be willing to invest?"
"I don't know, perhaps if you agree to come out and meet him, maybe you could convince him to up the investment."
"And what exactly is that supposed to mean?" She asked with her arms folded as he put his hands up
"I'm just stating the obvious, you have the power to make people listen to you and I don't see anything wrong with using it to your advantage, it's a win-win for you."
"Well, I always wanted to go out of town for my own business trip and it's in Vegas no less. By the way my sister-in law agreed to go with me since my husband will be out of town, so I could use that plus one ticket for the party."
"Great, I'll go back to the office and get everything ready for you and we can be on our way to Vegas in no time."
Javi was in his office with Mateo and Rafael, while the newest dog they got awhile back, Pacho, is lying down by Javi's feet
Tori was the one that picked the dog out as he was a puppy then and once she saw him she immediately ran to it and yelled, puppy! With a big smile on her face and begged Aaliyah and Javi to buy it.
What the two didn't know was how big Pacho was going to be at just ten months old. He looks dangerous and could very well bite your arm off, but he's super sweet and gentle, he especially loves Tori as he loves being her protector and following her around everywhere she goes.
"Can you believe this shit, they think they're smart wanting to play me like I'm some fool, but they don't know I control shit too and I can put a stop to far more than they could by just blocking one thing from me." Javi said as he reached on his desk and grabbed his gun
"I ought to go down there and shoot that bitch up and tell sweaty head to stop playing with his limp noodle and come face me like a man."
"And if you do that then you'll have more than one problem on your hands and making worldwide and possibly international news isn't the move I think you want to go for." Mateo advised
"Fuck!" Javi angrily grumbled as he stood up and walked over towards the couch
"Rafael, get up." Javi said as Rafael was asleep on the couch the entire time as he was still trying to get over the flu
"What are you screaming about now?" Rafael groaned as he turned over but still didn't get up
"I need you to handle something for me."
"I'm not driving to Houston."
"No I need you to go by the office and cancel every import order for next week."
"Okay I'm on it, just give me a few more minutes." He said waving his hand at Javi
"Calm down man, don't let this stress you out. If you do this, thousands could and will potentially starve, just think about this."
I already have, I'm not some toy people can play around with. I've been nice this whole time, not once have I went back on my end of the agreement and they've continuously fucked me over. I've said nothing, I've done nothing and all I ask is to be treated fairly and do not try and cheat me, well now they've done it. They want to stop my business and money, okay fine, how about you don't eat until I say you can eat." Javi said as Mateo heavily sighed
"Alright it's your call, but I still think you can go about this a better way."
"Fuck em, you play with me and my money, there's consequences for that. They know who they're dealing with and they don't deserve sympathy."
"Baby I have great news to tell- oh sorry, I didn't know you all were in here, I'll come back." Aaliyah said as she walked into Javi's office and stopped once she saw Mateo and Rafael
"No it's okay baby you can come back, we were done talking." Javi said as he nudged Rafael again who was this time lightly snoring
"Hey pendejo, get your sick ass up."
"I told you I'm not sick anymore, I just have to get my energy back." Rafael yawned and stretched while sitting up
"Well just go handle what I need from you and then you can go home and rest."
"Aright I'm on my way now, I'll see y'all later." He said leaving as Mateo was following behind him and he shut the door
"Are you alright? You seem upset." She asked
"I'm fine."
"You sure? It's okay I can come back later and let you cool off."
"No, being alone with my thoughts right now is the last thing I need, come talk to me." He said motioning for her to come closer as she was hesitant
He stepped forward and she took a step back, "Okay what's wrong with you? You're acting like you're scared of me or something."
"You still have the gun in your hand." She said as he looked at his hand and smiled
"Oh, sorry about that, force of habit." He said as he puts it down on the desk, "Now can you come talk to me?" He asked with his arms open as she went to him and he picks her up while hugging and kissing all over her face
He walked them over to behind his desk as he sat down while he placed Aaliyah in his lap. Pacho wanted to get in on the love as well as he gets up and tries to jump in between the two.
"Órale Pacho, saca tu gran culo de mis huevos." Javi said as he was pushing Pacho away
(Pacho, get your big ass off my nuts.)
"Siéntate pendejo." He pointed to the floor as Pacho sat down
"Sorry about that baby, I don't know what got into him. But anyway, you said you had some good news, well I'm in need to hear something good on today."
"Do you remember a few days ago I told you that in the future I would reveal what I was planning as far as the business, well you'll be proud to know that I have secured my first out of state business in Las Vegas."
"Oh baby that's wonderful." He smiled as he kissed her lips
"Congratulations, when do you start the process of opening?"
"Next week, I go when you'll be out of town but don't worry I have Kaylee going with me and it's not even a real first day, more so a meeting with the team and I get to meet some of my investors. Babe I'm super excited I don't know what to do."
"I'm excited for you baby, we should celebrate tonight on the job well done."
"No not yet, I want to save it when I'm all done and it's opening day. I don't want to spoil it for myself so I'd rather wait on a celebration."
"That's fine by me, but just know that no matter what I'm proud of you. You did it all on your own and that's not an easy task but you did it. I hate I'm missing the trip to Vegas with you, but that's okay we'll be taking plenty of trips in the future." He smiled as he kissed her lips
"If only everyone was as diligent and respectful like you." He stated as he was getting upset again. He reached in a perfectly carved cherrywood box that was on top of his desk as it had numerous blunts on the inside
"What exactly is wrong babe? Why are you so stressed?" She asked as he lit the blunt and took a hit
"Those motherfucka's fuckin' with me again, but that's alright tho, I got something for they asses."
"Who's messing with you?" She asked as he took another hit
"Corterra and the bitch-made leeches they have working for them."
"Wait, are you talking about the gas company Corterra?"
"Yeah. They owe me 120 million dollars."
"How exactly do they owe you money?"
"It's a long story but they're fuckin me over and I just won't stand it anymore so until I get my money nobody's getting anything."
"I'm sure there's a good explanation for it." She said as he scoffed
"Those pinche gringos know what they're doing and I'm not gonna stand for it. I tried to be nice and let it slide in the beginning because it would've been bad for business to already have trouble but to keep the peace I let it go. Now I'm done letting it go, I want my money and I'll show anyone just what you get when you try and fuck over Javier Castillo."
A few days later and it was if everyone had stopped working. There were no incoming or outgoing flights, trips, ship rides going anywhere that delivered or exported any goods.
With just one phone call Javi had essentially stopped the world as people were wondering and confused about what is happening.
It's been two days since any food or drink has been sold anywhere and nothing is scheduled to come in anytime soon.
Meanwhile Javi is sitting at the table eating lamb chops and drinking a bottle of Dom Pérignon. Sparky and Pacho walk up and stare up at him
"Alright don't look at me like that." He said as as he grabbed one of the lamb chops and both dogs immediately crowded him
"I'll give each of you one, calm down." He said as he grabbed another one and gave them each individual lamb chops and a pat on the head
"There you go, eat up."
His phone started ringing as he picked it up, "Fine time for you to call me Steven, it's been eight months."
"Javier this is absurd, why are you doing this? Whatever is wrong we can fix this."
"You can start by getting me my 120 million dollars."
"My hands are tied right now."
"Aw damn and so is mine, I guess nobody will be getting any food for the next two weeks, but that's alright tho I can always hop on my private jet and take my family to Italy for dinner, perhaps we'll have pizza." Javi said as he sipped his champagne
"Okay, okay you've proved your point, could you just please open everything back up."
"I want my 60 million tomorrow morning at 8AM and the second 60 million in two days, at the same time and not a minute late or else I'm gonna have to personally come pay you a visit and trust me, I won't be the Javier you're used to seeing, now do we have a deal?"
"Yes, we'll have the money."
"Great, now if you don't mind I have lamb chops to get back to." He said as he hung up the phone and went back to eating

Aaliyah is ready to open up shop in Las Vegas, not knowing what's really in store for her.
When will she realize this isn't what she intended it to be? And when will Javi find out about it?
Also when will people learn not to mess with Javi's family and his money. I wouldn't be trying to rock the boat with anyone that has the power to stop the food coming in, Nah let's be friends instead 😅
