"Next, please."

Kiara rose from her seat and approached the hall. "May I come in, doctors?" she asked. Dhruv nodded with a gentle smile.

"Please, come in," he said softly. Kiara took a deep breath before entering, settling into the chair in front of them.

"Your assignment?" a doctor kindly asked, extending his hand.

Kiara reached into her bag, pulling out her assignment. "Here it is," she replied, handing it over with a slightly nervous smile.

Dhruv and the other doctors glanced at the assignment, nodding in approval. "Well done," the doctor said, his tone encouraging.

"Now tell me, what are the stages of labor and the complications that may arise during childbirth?"

Kiara took a moment to gather her thoughts before responding, "there are three main parts. First, there are contractions and the cervix opening. Then comes the part where the baby is born. Finally, the last stage is when the placenta comes out. Sometimes, things can get tricky, like if labor takes a long time, the baby is stressed, or there are problems with the umbilical cord."

The doctors nodded, acknowledging her answer. "Impressive, Kiara. You seem well-prepared," Dhruv commended, a proud smile on his face.

"Can you explain the pathophysiology of a common cardiovascular disorder?" A female doctor asked.

Kiara paused, taking a deep breath while nervously biting her lower lip. She looked at Dhruv, who gave her a reassuring nod, trying to boost her confidence.

"Can I just have a moment, please?"

"Of course..."

Kiara, with a hint of nervousness, began to explain, "A.... A common cardiovascular disorder involves issues with the heart or blood vessels. Um for example, conditions like hypertension or high blood pressure can strain the heart over time."

"Continue."

"Uh... I-It can lead to complications like heart attacks or strokes..."

The female doctor nodded, appreciating Kiara's effort. "Good," she remarked, offering a supportive smile.

Dhruv couldn't help but steal a glance at Kiara. He admired her determination, her passion for medicine, and the way she handled the pressure. When the doctors praised her performance, he couldn't hide the pride in his eyes.

"Dr. Sehgal, your question, please," the doctor prompted. Dhruv adjusted his glasses on his nose, directing his gaze towards Kiara. "Ms. Tiwari, could you explain the fundamental principle of CPR?" he asked, presenting what seemed like the easiest question.

Kiara couldn't help but contain a smile, her lips revealing her confidence. "Sure, Dr. Sehgal. CPR, or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, is about pressing on the chest and giving rescue breaths. It helps when someone's heart or breathing stops by pumping the heart and giving oxygen to the lungs," Kiara explained confidently.

Dhruv nodded in approval, his eyes admiring his girlfriend or may he say a future doctor.

Kiara eagerly waited for Dhruv by the
hospital gate, excitedly wiggling in anticipation. They were heading out for shopping, and she couldn't wait to pick out a saree for her graduation.

"Dhruv ji!" Kiara called out as he walked towards her. Dhruv couldn't help but blush; his ears and cheeks turned a light shade of red. She had been calling him 'Dhruv ji' since last night.

Dhruv approached Kiara with a smile, his handsome face lighting up as dimples formed. "I've been waiting for a while. Let's go; I don't want all the best sarees to be sold out," Kiara said, holding his hand.

"Shaadi ke baad ke liye bhi saree le le?" he teased, wrapping his arm around her.

Kiara playfully rolled her eyes, "Oh please, we're just shopping for graduation today. Shaadi ke baad ki baatein baad mein." She grinned.

Dhruv chuckled, "Achha ji?"

"Haan ji."

As they strolled down the street, Dhruv enjoyed Kiara's lively chatter. Suddenly, a car approached from their right side. Dhruv instinctively guided Kiara to step to his left, ensuring they were safe from the passing vehicle.

Kiara glanced at Dhruv with a soft look in her eyes. "Always looking out for me, aren't you?" She whispered.

Dhruv smiled, "Well, someone has to make sure you stay safe, especially when you're lost in your own world..."

Kiara smiled and gently wrapped her hands around Dhruv's arm. "I love you," she whispered, placing a tender kiss on the side of his coat. Dhruv glanced at her before planting a kiss on top of her head, "I love you too..."

As they continued their walk, Kiara and Dhruv reached the bustling market, adorned with vibrant stalls of sarees. The lively colors and intricate designs drew Kiara's attention as she excitedly scanned the array of fabrics.

Kiara carefully examined each saree, her fingers gliding over the fabric. "This one has a beautiful border, don't you think?" she pointed out, holding up a saree with intricate embroidery.

Dhruv nodded, appreciating her choice. "It's lovely, just like you. But let's keep searching; we want the perfect one, right?"

Kiara agreed, and they continued their search, Dhruv offered his opinions, suggesting sarees that he thought would complement Kiara's grace.

"Too bright!"

"Too dull!"

"Hmm, not bad."

"Okayish..."

Kiara let out a groan and held a neon green saree against Dhruv's chest, "How about this color, I'll look pretty right?"

Dhruv chuckled, "I think I might need sunglasses if you wear that."

Kiara playfully rolled her eyes, "Oh come on, neon is in fashion! Imagine me standing out in the graduation crowd like a-."

Dhruv raised an eyebrow, cutting her words, "like a highlighter?"

"Seriously?"

Kiara turned towards the other side and soon her eyes sparkled as she discovered a saree that captured her heart. It was a blend of traditional elegance and modern flair, with a stunning combination of blue and silver.

She quickly picked it up, "What do you think?" she asked, placing it on her shoulder with a beaming smile.

Dhruv's eyes lit up with approval, a wide smile formed on his face, "Absolutely breathtaking. That's the one, Kiara."

Kiara grinned, "I agree. This saree will make my graduation day even more special... oh! I can't wait to wear it," she squealed.

Dhruv gently brushed away a few strands of hair from her face, suggesting, "Why not give it a try now?" However, Kiara shook her head, saying, "I prefer saving it for graduation day. I want to see the surprise and awe in your eyes when you see how I look on that special day."

Dhruv smiled, "Fair enough, I'll patiently wait for the big reveal then."

Kiara examined the saree carefully and then approached the cash counter, inquiring, "I'd like to buy this. How much does it cost?" The cashier glanced at the saree and replied, "It's eight thousand, ma'am."

Kiara's excitement dimmed a bit as she heard the price, her brows furrowing with concern. "Eight thousand? Are you sure? I mean, the color is nice, but the fabric seems a bit questionable. And look at these embellishments, they might come off after one wash. Don't you think it's a bit overpriced?"

Dhruv furrowed his eyebrows before leaning towards her and whispered, "You really love this saree, don't you?"

Kiara shot him a quick glare, "keep quiet," she whispered-yelled.

Kiara turned back to the cashier. "Well, I suppose I could overlook these minor flaws if you offer a discount. Maybe three thousand?"

"Sorry, ma'am. The price is fixed."

Kiara sighed, glancing at Dhruv with a defeated look. "I guess it's a bit out of my budget. Let's keep looking for something more reasonable," she said, her voice a little low now.

"The saree is made for you, I can't let it go. I'll take care of it." He handed his credit card to the cashier with a warm smile.

Kiara's eyes widened in surprise. "You don't have to-"

"I want to, and I have the right to do so. I'm your boyfriend after all" he interrupted gently.

Kiara felt a lump in her throat. She hugged him tightly, whispering, "Thank you..."

Dhruv hugged her back, his embrace reassuring. "You're worth every bit of it, Kiara. I want you to have what makes you happy," he said, planting a soft kiss on her forehead.

Kiara looked up at him, her eyes reflecting the love and admiration for him. "I promise I'll make it up to you," she whispered.

Dhruv chuckled, "You don't owe me anything, love. Seeing you happy is more than enough for me."

As they walked out of the market, Dhruv playfully nudged Kiara. "Now, let's grab something to eat. I know you're hungry," he said.

"Yeah, but I want to have some street food, please?"

"Hmm, okay... I can't say no when you act all cute."

Kiara's eyes lit up with excitement. They approached the stall, and Dhruv ordered a variety of chaats to satisfy her cravings.

Sitting at a nearby bench, they dove into the array of chaats - pani puri, sev puri, bhel puri, and more. Kiara savored each bite, her eyes gleaming with delight. "This is so good! You sure know the way to my heart," she teased.

Dhruv chuckled, "Well, they say the way to a person's heart is through their stomach. And I intend to keep your heart full and happy."

Kiara smiled, her cheeks slightly flushed from the spicy chaat. As they enjoyed their street food feast, the sun began to set, casting a warm glow over the bustling market. Dhruv glanced at Kiara, captivated by the way the fading sunlight played with her hair.

"Did I mention how beautiful you are?" Dhruv whispered, tenderly wiping the sauce from the corner of Kiara's lips. Kiara met his gaze with a gentle expression, asking, "am I?"

"Absolutely. So beautiful, too beautiful..." Dhruv replied.
