Shanvi noticed Kiara working on her assignment despite being unwell. "Why don't you ask Dhruv for help?" Shanvi suggested as she packed up, she's going back as her mission was over now.

Kiara looked up, shaking her head. "It's my assignment, and he's too busy with his new role as the hospital's president," she explained.

Dhruv's strong leadership and commitment to the hospital team and patients were noticed by the board of directors. They acknowledged his skill in handling crises, especially during the recent incident involving Arjun.

Additionally, Dhruv's smart planning and dedication to enhance the hospital's operations made him the perfect choice for the presidency.

Kiara was about to graduate in a few weeks, and her journey was just starting. She smiled as she remembered how Dhruv got emotional when he had a bad dream about her leaving him.

Kiara snapped out of her thoughts when Shanvi gave her a shake, saying, "Hey, let's go! Mr. Shekhawat made dinner today." Kiara sighed and agreed, getting up. "By the way, why do you call your husband Mr. Shekhawat?" she asked, curious.

Shanvi grinned and replied, "Well, calling him 'baby' isn't my style. He's not a baby," rolling her eyes playfully as she headed towards the door.

"Why not call him Sameer?" Kiara inquired.

"Because he's my senior... Also, why don't you call Dr. Sehgal, Dhruv, huh? You also call him Sir," Shanvi teased.

Kiara nibbled on her lower lip, glancing at Shanvi. "Should I start calling Dhruv?" she asked, nervously adjusting her jacket. Shanvi nodded, raising her eyebrows, "Yes, you should. He's not your sir anymore…” Kiara let out a sigh as they started walking towards Dhruv’s apartment.

Dhruv couldn't believe his eyes as he looked at the mess Sameer and Vikram had made in the kitchen. He clapped sarcastically, saying, "Nice job, gentlemen! Please don't do it again.”

Sameer, while flipping the chapati, rolled his eyes and turned off the gas. "At least we're doing something here. What about you? You've been sitting in the same spot all day," he teased, starting to take off his apron. "Is your ass okay? I doubt it," he added with a grin.

They both heard Vikram's laughter, prompting them to glance at him. He was engrossed in his phone, a smile on his face. "What are you up to? I told you to get the salad ready!" Sameer exclaimed, tossing an onion at Vikram.

Vikram groaned as the onion hit his back. "Ouch! I was getting the salad ready, but my wife just sent me her pictures. I couldn't resist," he explained before reaching for the cucumber.

Dhruv sighed and shook his head before heading towards the living room. Just as he was about to sit down, the doorbell rang. "Thank goodness, my Kiara has arrived," he whispered to himself, walking towards the door to open it.

As Dhruv was about to open the door, Sameer came running and stood beside him. Dhruv gave him a side-eye before opening the door, saying, "Welcome, ladies," and extending a hand to Kiara, who smiled at him, but her smile didn't reach her eyes.

As he held Kiara's hand, he noticed it was cold. Dhruv frowned and gently pulled her towards him, placing his palm on her forehead. "Kiara, do you have a fever? Why didn't you tell me earlier?" he asked, guiding her to sit on the couch.

He grabbed the thermometer and sat beside her, placing it in her mouth. "Why didn't you tell me, huh?" Dhruv asked again, gently rubbing her hands.

After a few seconds, he checked the thermometer. "Thank god it's not high," he said, placing it on the table before cupping her face. Kiara giggled, saying, "You're busy, and I didn't want to add more burden," with a weak smile.

Dhruv shook his head, exhaling. "I'm always available for you, and taking care of you is not a burden, love. Never say that again," he whispered, placing a soft, lingering kiss on her forehead.

“Dinner is served, lovebirds!”

They heard Sameer's voice. “Asshole,” Dhruv cursed under his breath and glared at Sameer, who was smirking while eating a slice of cucumber.

After dinner, they sat in the living room, discussing random things as Sameer, Shanvi, and Vikram were set to leave the next day. Kiara snuggled closer to Dhruv, resting her head on his shoulder, feeling incredibly exhausted.

Dhruv adjusted his position to make Kiara more comfortable before turning his attention back to Sameer.

"So, how did you plan all this?" Shanvi asked, giving her husband a skeptical look.

"Simple, I revealed your identity to him," Sameer explained, causing Shanvi to gasp in disbelief.

"You did what?"

"Well, I did everything to save your ass, okay!" Sameer defended himself.

Dhruv frowned, asking, "But why?" He glanced at Kiara, who was now asleep beside him. Sameer exchanged a glance with Shanvi.

"He was suspicious of Shanvi, so, as a loyal secretary, I acted like I was gathering information about you. I revealed your identity and plan, in short, I manipulated him to trust in me," he said, playing with the ring in his hand.

Shanvi's eyes narrowed as she processed Sameer's revelation. "You risked mine and Danny's safety!" She exclaimed, a mix of anger and concern in her voice.

Sameer sighed, putting down the ring and meeting her gaze. "It was the only way to gain his trust without blowing our cover. I needed to stay one step ahead of Arjun."

Shanvi's jaw clenched. "You should have informed me about this," she muttered.

Sameer chuckled, glancing at Shanvi with a small smile. "I didn't inform you just for the sake of your natural reactions. Your acting skills need some improvement," he remarked, tilting his head to crack his bones slightly.

Dhruv sighed, running a hand through his hair. "The thing is going over my head."

Vikram let out a tired yawn, "Hey, don't forget to mention my bravery, alright? I did put my life on the line for all of you," he added before stretching out on the floor.

Sameer shook his head, glaring at Vikram, "Bravery? You asked for my personal jet for the bare minimum you did."

“I deserve that!”

"Quiet! Kiara is sleeping; don't shout," Dhruv whispered, gently lifting Kiara into his arms. Vikram shot them a curious glance before averting his eyes with a small smile.

Dhruv carefully carried Kiara to his room, placing her on the bed and tucking her in with the duvet.

Shanvi glanced at Dhruv as he emerged from the room, "Dr. Sehgal, Mr. Shekhawat and I are heading home now. Also, Kiara has an assignment to finish—"

"Bring the assignment please; I'll take care of it," he offered. Shanvi nodded, while Vikram observed Dhruv with a small smile.

Around midnight, Vikram felt a bit thirsty while staying at Dhruv's house. He quietly got out of bed and headed towards the kitchen.

As he walked through the living room, he noticed Dhruv deeply engrossed in working on Kiara's assignment. Dhruv was so focused that he didn't notice Vikram standing in front of him.

"Why do you love my sister so much, bhaiya?" Vikram asked, taking a seat in front of Dhruv. Dhruv glanced at him, adjusting his glasses with a small smile.

Dhruv stopped what he was doing and put down some papers. He looked at Vikram with a soft expression and said, "Vikram, Kiara is like the calming music in the chaos of my life.”

Vikram smiled, touched by Dhruv's words. "What makes her so special to you?"

Dhruv laughed, remembering, "When I first met her, it felt like finding a little bundle of happiness. She was totally different from me – playful, a bit mischievous, and just full of joy. It was like discovering a treasure chest of laughter and warmth whenever she was around.”

Vikram nodded, understanding Dhruv's deep feelings. "How do you balance work and your dedication to her?"

Dhruv sighed, "It's not always easy, but love helps me focus on what really matters. Kiara motivates me to be my best, both professionally and personally. With her, every step is worth it."

Vikram grinned, teasing, "Any relationship advice for me?"

Dhruv chuckled, "Communication, patience, and don't underestimate the power of a sincere apology. Oh, and learn to cook – it can be useful!"
