“I— urg!”

Kiara covered her mouth, feeling nauseous. Dhruv frowned but swiftly reached out to support her, gently rubbing her back to provide some comfort.

"Are you okay? Let's go over here," he asked with care, guiding her to the side of the path to give her space to throw up. He gently comforted her by rubbing her back as she threw up everything she ate inside.

Once she finished vomiting, she slowly stood up, facing Dhruv. He swiftly took out his handkerchief and began wiping away some from her lips.

As he cleaned her lips, Kiara's chin quivered, "I made a fool out of myself…" she whispered, tears welled up again, her flushed cheeks and slightly smudged mascara evident. Despite it all, Dhruv gazed at her as if she were the most beautiful woman in the world.

"You're the most beautiful fool ever," he whispered gently, his eyes filled with affection as he looked at her. Kiara sighed and drew closer to him, closing her eyes and resting her face against his chest.

Noticing her cold arms, he gently removed his tuxedo and draped it over her. As Kiara's body relaxed against his, he glanced down to find her peacefully asleep. "This girl," he chuckled softly, before carefully and swiftly lifting her into his arms.

“So cute…” Arjun emitted a sinister laugh as he observed them through the window, taking a large gulp of his whiskey. He then threw the glass across the room, shattering it. Sameer, standing near Arjun's desk, calmly stares at him, wearing a frown in response to Arjun's unpredictable behavior.

Observing his actions, Sameer couldn't help but think, "This man is definitely showing signs of being a psychopath," as he continued to stare at him.

"Sadly, their happiness won't endure for long. Tsk tsk tsk, they've drawn my attention," Arjun whispered before picking up a vase from the table and smashing it on the floor.

Seething with anger, he huffed, locking eyes with Sameer, who maintained a composed gaze. "What's your game, Dr. Arjun?" Sameer questioned, advancing towards him.

Arjun smirked, then shifted his gaze back to Dhruv carrying Kiara into the hall. "Tsk... death," he muttered, a chilling glare fixed on the unfolding scene, revealing a sinister anticipation in his eyes.

Shanvi glanced at Sameer as he entered the hall, and he took a deep breath upon realizing she was already looking at him. Breaking the eye contact, he headed towards the exit. She rolled her eyes at his actions before nonchalantly popping a cheese ball into her mouth.

As she was about to eat another one, Shanvi noticed Dhruv entering the hall with Kiara in his arms. Her eyes widened slightly, and a smirk formed on her lips. Dhruv looked at Shanvi and began walking towards her, still carrying Kiara in his arms.

"How much did she drink?" he asked, a slight frown on his face. Shanvi wiped the cheese powder off her fingers before indicating the bottle of scotch. "Half a bottle of this scotch—"

"And you allowed her to drink?" he asked, clearly in disbelief.

Shanvi's expression shifted slightly. "I encouraged her to drink, actually," she admitted before taking a gulp of the scotch herself.

"Unbelievable..." he sighed, gazing at the girl in his arms who nestled closer to him, causing his heart to flutter repeatedly.

"Alright, sorry!" Shanvi said nonchalantly, placing the bottle of scotch back. Dhruv continued to gaze at Kiara before turning his attention back to Shanvi. "We should leave now," he suggested. Shanvi nodded in agreement, and they began making their way towards the exit.

"Book a cab, Ms. Shanvi," he requested, leaving the hall and heading towards the reception. As Shanvi prepared to book a cab, she noticed Sameer standing outside the car with a tense expression on his face.

"Uh... I guess we don't need a cab," she mentioned, causing Dhruv to turn towards the exit where Sameer stood. The moment Dhruv looked at him, Sameer swiftly masked his expression into his usual demeanor.

"Mr. Sameer—"

"I'll drop you off, Dr. Sehgal," Sameer interrupted, opening the door for him. Dhruv nodded before carefully getting inside the car with Kiara in his arms. He settled her comfortably above him as he took his seat in the car.

Sameer closed the door and then turned his attention to Shanvi, opening the passenger door for her. This time, he extended his hand once again.

Shanvi hesitated, glancing at his hand and then back at his face. Slowly, she accepted his hand and settled into the passenger seat.

He jogged towards the driver's seat and settled himself before starting the engine. Meanwhile Dhruv gently removed the strands of hair covering his Kiara's face, tucking them behind her ear as he softly caressed her cheek.

Shanvi glanced at Kiara, occasionally stealing glances at Sameer, who smiled knowingly at her antics.

"Ms. Shanvi, will you be able to carry her inside the PG?" he asked.

Shanvi fell silent for a moment before letting out a dramatic gasp. "Oh my God! I can't. If the security guards find out Kiara's drunk, they'll report to that old lady! And she'll inform Kiara's parents! Oh my God!" she exclaimed in a theatrical manner. Sameer bit his lower lip, attempting to stifle his laughter.

Dhruv nodded, glancing at Kiara. "So, what's the plan?" he asked. Shanvi couldn't help but roll her eyes at his obliviousness, but she managed a smile. "How about taking her to your apartment?" she suggested, gritting her teeth a little.

"Ah, of course! Bring a more comfortable dress for her. She can't sleep in this gown; it looks rather uncomfortable," he suggested.

Sameer cleared his throat, his eyebrows furrowed in response to Dhruv's comment. "I don't think so, Dr. Sehgal. The fabric is the finest silk, and the lace design is specially made in Italy; it's very comfortable," he said in a single breath, prompting Dhruv to look at him with a frown.

"How do you—"

Shanvi burst into laughter, interrupting Dhruv. "I told him! Haha, it's actually my gown. I let him know! Yes!" She stammered, attempting to control the situation.

She shot a glare at Sameer, who promptly averted his gaze. They soon arrived at their respective apartments. Sameer opened the door for Dhruv before moving toward the passenger side. He opened the door for Shanvi, who simply gave him a disapproving look.

"What? The dress is really comfortable—"

"Shut up!"

She swiftly exited the car, rushing inside the PG to fetch a night dress for her best friend. Sameer remained standing with Dhruv, who attentively carried Kiara.

"Dealing with matters of the heart... honestly, it can be quite perilous," Sameer whispered to himself, looking at Dhruv, who seemed unfazed by the weight he was carrying.

He noticed Shanvi hurrying towards them with the necessary items for Kiara, but his attention briefly shifted towards her chest. "I fucking love that place; don't know when I'll get the chance to sleep on it," he muttered to himself, amusingly staring her chest's movements.

Dhruv glanced back at Sameer. "You haven't left yet, Mr. Sameer?" he inquired. Sameer shook his head, offering a small smile. "Dr. Mehra instructed me to stay until all of you safely enter your apartments," he explained, walking slowly towards Dhruv.

Dhruv sighed. "He's genuinely caring," he remarked before heading towards his apartment with Kiara in his arms, and Shanvi following. "Uh, Ms. Shanvi! You forgot this..." Sameer called out, causing Shanvi to stop in her tracks and turn towards him.

"You go ahead, Dr. Sehgal. I'll be right there," she said to Dhruv before walking towards Sameer, who gave her a small smirk.

As Dhruv entered the apartment, Shanvi turned to Sameer and extended her hand. "Pendrive," she demanded. Sameer took a deep breath and shook his head.

"My prize first," he insisted.

"What prize?"

"A kiss will do!" he said, raising his eyebrows suggestively.

Shanvi groaned before quickly walking towards him. She grabbed him by the collar, "I hate you!" She exclaimed before pulling him into a surprisingly passionate kiss.

"Done! Now, the pendrive," she said, while Sameer sucked on his lower lip, savoring the taste of her lipstick.

"Sweet, here," he handed her the pendrive. "Also—" he grabbed her by the elbow, pulling her closer, "your friend's life is in danger. I don't give a damn about her, but just because she's your friend, I'm warning you. And I hate you too, love," he whispered before abruptly releasing her elbow and leaving.
