I stood outside the gym in the parking lot watching as Theo and Sadie got into her car driving off,
I can't believe he would just randomly go the club with my best friend without me.
I am sure he did that to piss me off or punish me.
I decided not to go back into the gym because I knew Ryan is going to question where my fiancée and best friend went.
Instead I got into my car driving to the nearest beach.
I needed some fresh air, I needed to think.
After an hour off driving I pulled up at the same spot Ryan took me a while back.
Thinking off Ryan I wonder how his rib was,
I wonder if he saw a doctor, I was so eager to leave the gym that I totally forgot about his injury,
I took my phone dialing Joe's number he pick up within a few rings.
Joe: Hello
Aluna: hey Joe I'm calling to get an update on Ryan,
Did he see a doctor?
Joe: He is currently at the hospital, after you left he began having terrible pain so we call the ambulance.
Aluna: Oh god, I'm on my way.
End off call.
I ended the call starting my car driving off,
I drove as fast as I can parking my car like an idiot, close to the hospital entrance getting out.
"Mam you can't park here!"
A security shouted at me.
"It's ok I'll park the car for her"
Joe said coming out of the hospital.
"Is he okay?"
I asked Joe while handing him my keys.
"The doctors haven't given us any info yet"
"Sean is in the waiting room you may get some more info from him."
I'm heading home, I can't bear being in the hospital it is bringing back bad memories.
He said before walking off.
thinking about it, the last time I was at this hospital is the night my parents passed away.
As I headed inside I had the same ranching gut feeling I had that night my parents died,
I started to feel a bit dizzy as I walked down the hallway to the waiting room where I saw Sean sitting .
He looked surprised when he saw me approaching him.
"Aluna are you okay, you look unwell."
Sean asked getting up walking towards me.
"Yeah I'm ok, I just hate hospitals."
I said taking a seat trying to catch my breath.
"Joe said the same thing."
Sean said taking a deep breath.
"What's going on? Is the rib broken?"
I asked.
"I don't know the doctors haven't given me and update,"
"I don't know what to do, I'm afraid to call our parents,"
"I don't want to scare them this time at night."
"It's my fault I shouldn't off ring the bell,"
"I should've let him continue to spar knowing he was clearly hurt."
Sean said punching the wall.
"It's not your fault Sean, no one could off stop Ryan from continuing the fight, you know that."
I said.
"Yeah you are right."
he said sitting next to me with his hand dripping of blood from punching the wall earlier.
I took a deep breath, getting up walking to the nurses station asking them for some bandage and gauze.
I took it walking back to Sean sitting next to him taking his hand cleaning up the blood and putting a bandage on it.
I looked up seeing him looking at me.
"My brother is in love with you."
He said making me look at him.
"What?"
"You heard me,"
He said leaning back.
"And you have feelings for him."
"Because if you didn't you wouldn't have come here."
He said looking at me smiling.
I was about to say something when suddenly we were interrupted by a doctor asking for the relatives of Mr Garcia.
"I'm his brother."
Sean said raising his hand getting up.
"And you are?"
The doctor asked looking at me.
"I'm...."
"His girlfriend."
Sean said smiling.
"Okay, well I have some good and bad news."
"Oh god I hate this good and bad news bullshit just tell us what's going on!"
I said making the doctors look at me with an amused look on his face.
"Mr Garcia had a Costochondral separation,"
"His ribs is torn away from the cartilage that connects it to his breastbone."
The doctor said making my eyes widen.
"So does that mean he has to do surgery or something?"
Sean asked.
"Costochondral separation needs to heal on its own, thankfully mr Garcia injury isn't that bad to need any surgical intervention."
"His treatment include rest, ice, or the use of a rib belt to help hold the ribs in place during the healing process."
"And how long is the healing process?"
I asked knowing his match is in two weeks.
"1 probably 2 months."
he said making Sean and I look at each other.
"Come let me take you to him,"
the doctor said leading us down a hallway towards Ryan room.
Ryan POV.
"Mr Garcia, your brother and girlfriend is here to see you."
The doctor said making me confused.
A smile instantly came upon my face when I saw Sean and Aluna entering the room.
"Girlfriend huh?"
I said making her roll her eyes at me.
"That was my doing."
"I see those pain meds are doing you good,"
Sean said giving me a hug.
"Did you call mom and dad?"
I asked.
"No, I didn't want to scare them, it's literally 3:am in the morning."
Sean said.
"Yeah that's true,"
I said taking a deep breath.
"Ohh speaking off them,"
Sean said showing me his phone, it was my father calling,
"go ahead and answer,"
"tell him what happened and tell him everything is okay, I'll be home soon."
I shouted to Sean as he left the room.
I turned my attention to Aluna as she slowly made her way towards me, I sifted aside a little making a place on my bed for her to sit.
I watch as she carefully took a seat like I was going to break or something.
"I have to admit I'm surprised to see you here?
I thought you were clubbing with your fiancé,"
"but by the look off your outfit I guess he went without you."
I said making her look at me confuse.
"How do you know...."
I cut her off by showing her a picture Sadie posted on her insta story with herself and Theo taking shots.
"You follow Sadie on instagram?"
She asked frowning her eyebrows.
"Yeah I followed her so I can stalk you."
I said making her laugh.
"But then again I guess you are the stalker,"
"you told the doctor that you're my girlfriend so you can sneak into my room."
I said making her roll her eyes at me.
"Very funny."
she said holding my hand.
"I'm sorry about your match, I know how important it was to you."
She said looking at me with sorrow in her eyes.
"I'm not canceling the match."
"What?"
she said frowning her eyebrows.
"I have to fight."
"I'm not letting this injury get in my way."
"You are crazy Ryan, you can break a rib or worse the broken rib can puncture your lungs."
She said shaking her head.
"There is nothing more important to me than this match Luna,"
"I have work my ass off to be where I am."
"I have to go trough with it, I may never get a chance like this again."
"I understand how incredibly important this match is for you Ryan but it's also risky,"
"I'm scared to see you get hurt."
She said looking down.
"I'm not going to get hurt, I promise you."
I said lifting her chin so she can look at me.
My eyes went straight to her lips which looked so tempting, god I wish she was mines, I would kiss her every chance I have.
My heart started too race when I realized she was leaning towards me.
I slowly trail my fingers from her chin to the back off her head lightly grasping my fingers between her hair.
She gasped brushing her lips against mine driving me crazy increasing my hunger for her.
"Ready to leave?"
Sean and the doctor asked coming into the room with their very terrible timing.
