"Neuvillette..."
"No."
"Come on. Tell me."
"No."
"Come on! What did I do when I was drunk?!"
He was being so secretive about it I was starting to imagine some things.
I didn't try to drag him to be, did I?
I wouldn't be too surprised if I tried to strip him.

No.
No way.
I wouldn't be insane enough to just go for it.
"If you want to know, then why don't you start by telling me what I did when I was drunk?"
"I already told you-"
"Not those bunch of lies." He said bluntly, putting down his pen
How did he know I lied?!
Did he remember something?
"Your drunk self is awfully honest, Wrio." He chuckled darkly.
Sh*t!
I told him myself!
Aah!
I'm an idiot!
A complete moron!
How can I tell him about my lies myself?!
"So?" He raised an eyebrow.
Argh!
Can I just jump to my death now?
But, fine.
Fine, whatever.
Nothing happened anyway. There is no reason for me not to tell him.
"You passed out about two seconds after drinking that cup of wine."
"And?"
"I brought you home and got you into bed. I took off some of your clothes but I got interrupted when you woke up. You said a bunch of nonsense about me being pretty, unbuttoned my shit to stare at me for a bit, told me I was pretty a few more times, insisting that what you say is the truth as you are the Hydro Sovereign, and then you went to sleep."
"That's it?"
"That's it."
A rough version of it anyway.
But I didn't lie this time.
I just omitted some details.
"Perfectly normal and reasonable behavior then." Neuvillette concluded.
How is that normal behavior?!
"I'm not-"
He started frowning as he gave me a once-over.
"No matter how I look at it, I've said nothing but the truth." He said seriously.
A blush shot up my neck faster than I could think it was possible.
Do you have to be so serious about that?

L-Let's change the subject!
"So... What was I up to?"
A devious smirk surfaced on his lips and I heard about a dozen alarms go off in my head.
"Oh, I wonder. Should I tell you the truth, or should I lie? I guess I could do both. A mix of both truths and lies."
"Neuvillette-"
"Furina came to tell me to take you home because you got drunk. I went upstairs with her only to get yanked inside and pushed up against the door by you, my dear." He started.
"I-"
"Furina was still on the other side of that door so she probably heard you when you demanded I bring you back home. You demanded I bring you to our bedroom, to be precise."
I did what?!
Is that why she's been looking at me so weirdly the past few days?!
"Neuvillette, I-"
"Oh, I'm not quite done just yet." He interrupted me.
What else could I have possibly done?!
Isn't this bad enough already?!
"When we got home you thew your jacket and boots to the side and sat down on the bed."
Okay. Till here it's still fine.
"Then you told me to strip."
...
I could feel something break inside my mind.
"I did what?"
"You told me to strip. Three times to be precise. You even asked me if I needed help when I didn't move."

I must have been out of my mind!

"Then you started pouting about how I couldn't even do this much for you even though it was your birthday. You also blamed me for not asking when your birthday was even though I did so on multiple occasions."

"You eventually apologized for that one."

"But you then told me that you still want me to strip." He continued.

"So I did."
"Excuse me?"
He did?
"It was your birthday. Plus, I was still under the impression I owed you for my own drunken antics."
I felt my brain malfunction.
Neuvillette...
Neuvillette stripped down right in front of my eyes and I don't remember?!
"You made some comments about my loose hair and my upper body. You also didn't forget to tell me to hurry it up already as neither of us was innocent anyway."
Can I just die now?
"You mentioned that you've slept with about five people previously and then bluntly told me that you wanted to drag me to bed after hearing about my own experience with sexual intercourse."

"You ended up putting those plans off for later."

"You then told me you lied about what I did when I was drunk."

Can I be just a little last blunt an honest when I'm drunk?!?
"Anything else?" I asked.
At this point...
"There was nothing else. I went out, took a shower, and changed before we went to sleep." He finished his story.

I did all that only for us to go to sleep?
That-
"And that was all a lie." Neuvillette smiled kindly.
"What?"

"Or maybe it wasn't." He continued.

Wait. No, he can't possibly-
"I guess you will never know, will you?"

Neuvillette!
You can't do this!
"Neuvillette... Neuvillette, my love. Please tell me that was all a lie."
Please tell me I didn't do any of that.
"That was all a lie." He said seriously.
"It was?"
I still held some hope but-
"I'm not sure. I'm just fulfilling your request for me to tell you it was."
