The school district. A place dedicated to developing it's students into different fields. The school district is a massive and large ship that travels around the world for various reasons, but every three years the ship returns to Orario for maintenance, while the school district is in Orario students who have graduated will be scouted by different Familia's and offer the students a place in their Familia.
After three long years of being away from his family in Orario, a white haired man will finally get the chance to reunite with his family, and introduce them to his special someone.
In the home of the Hera Familia, the women were only talking about one thing, the return of their favorite and adorable bunny.
???: Wawawawawa~! The young master is finally coming home after so many years! I can't wait any longer!
Cynthia, her eyes glistening with excitement, twirled around the room in her maid uniform, barely containing her bubbling enthusiasm.
???: Calm yourself, Cynthia. We must be presentable when Bell-sama returns.
Violet, attempting to maintain her poise, adjusted her uniform with an air of restrained eagerness, trying to mask her own anticipation.
Cynthia: I can't help it! It's been too long!
Violet: I understand, but it's important to greet him with grace and composure, don't you think?
Cynthia: Says the one who shed tears of joy mentioning Bell-sama's name!
She said as she grinned mischievously
Violet's: *Blush* T-That's preposterous!
She said blushing from Cynthia's comment.
Just as their banter continued, the door creaked open behind them, revealing a woman with an aura of elegance and authority, her snow-white hair cascading like a waterfall.
???: You two seem rather excited this morning, even more so than me, the one awaiting her son's return after three long years.
Cynthia: Hya! M-Meteria-sama, good morning!
She said surprised by Meteria's voice.
Violet: Good morning, Meteria-sama.
She said as she quickly composed herself.
Meteria:*Smile* Good morning, both of you. Shall we head to the guild?
Cynthia and Violet: Yes!
The two said nodding their heads vigorously.
Meteria: Excellent! I believe sister is already waiting for us by the gate.
As they approached the gate, another beautiful woman, similar to Meteria but with eyes that shone differently, stood there, exuding an air of quiet anticipation.
Meteria: I knew you'd be here already. *chuckles*
Alfia: *Smile* Shall we go?
Meteria nodded, her eyes shimmering with a mixture of emotions.
Meteria: Of course!
The four women, each with their distinct air of anticipation, made their way towards the guild, their steps echoing the unspoken joy and longing for a rabbits return.
The guild is the place where most students from the school district immediately go if they haven't already been recruited by a Familia beforehand, it's also the first place students who already joined a Familia in Orario would go to register themselves as adventurers.
Because of this the closer Meteria and Alfia were to the guild the more crowded the streets became. Luckily with the presence of Alfia, the people were smart enough to move out of the group's way letting them pass without any stops.
As they reached the entrance to the guild they immediately noticed the many number of people wearing the uniform of the school district as well as deities looking to recruit the students.
Meteria: Woah! There's so many people...
Violet: It would appear that many of the students from the school district have already found Familia's to join, by the looks of it they're just here to register themselves.
Cynthia: Yeah but by the looks of it some of those student's are still looking for Familia's to join.
Alfia: Ignore them we don't care about them, Meteria stay close to me.
Meteria: Seriously sister... I can handle it.
Suddenly a person among the crowded guild approached them, a woman with long red hair wearing the guild uniform.
???: Excuse me are you Alfia and Meteria-sama?
Alfia: Yes, who are you?
???: My name is Rose Fannett, Someone booked a private room in the guild for you all, but...
She began to look hesitantly at Alfia and the others.
Alfia: Well? We don't have all day!
She said a little irritated at Rose.
Rose: I-It's just that your Alfia the silence, and those two maids are also first class adventurers I can tell. I'm not sure if the person who booked that room is trying to fool me...
Alfia: Get to the point.
Rose:*Nervous* Y-Yes! H-He said he was A-Alfia sama's nephew.
The group suddenly perked up when they heard what Rose said, but the first one to react was Meteria.
Meteria: What was his name?!
Rose: Oh...Uhm.... His name was Bell Cranel I believe.
They all immediately reacted when they heard Bell's name.
Meteria: Where is he?!
Alfia: Bring us to him.
Rose: *Nervous* S-So he wasn't lying?
The one who responded to Rose's question wasn't Alfia and Meteria but Violet.
Violet: You must be fairly new here Ms. Rose, Bell Cranel is indeed the name of my young master, and he is indeed the nephew of Alfia-sama, and over here is his mother Meteria-sama.
Rose's eyes immediately opened wide when she realized her mistake, she doubted the identity of the boy she had a chat with earlier, Rose was even pretty rude towards the boy due to her suspicions. The only reason she's doing the whole thing was because Bell paid a hefty sum for the room and her services in looking for his family when they got in the guild.
Rose: F-Forgive me for not knowing!
Fear was showing in her eyes as her body began to tremble. Her thoughts began to imagine what would happen to her if Bell told his family how she acted towards him.
Meteria: Doesn't matter! Where's my boy!
Rose: *Nervous* R-Right this way.
She led them to one of the private room of the guild, luckily like earlier thanks to Alfia's presence the many people in the guild also gave them space to walk.
Rose: R-Right here...
As they reached a small wooden door, Meteria didn't even wait for Rose to continue as she immediately opened the door.
Meteria burst through the door, her heart pounding with a mix of anticipation and longing. Her eyes immediately landed on Bell, seated on the couch, and without a second thought, she rushed over, unable to contain the flood of emotions within her.
Meteria: Bell!
Her voice trembled with a mixture of joy and yearning as she enveloped him in a tight embrace, holding him close as if afraid he might disappear if she let go.
Meteria: My boy! Oh, how I've missed you!
Bell, initially taken aback by the suddenness of her embrace, couldn't help but feel the swell of emotions welling up inside him.
Bell: I-I missed you too, Mother.
The room soon filled with the presence of Alfia, Violet, and Cynthia, but they instinctively allowed Meteria her moment, understanding the depth of her longing for her son. But not long after, Alfia, moved by the reunion, approached them, joining in the warm embrace.
Alfia: Welcome home, Bell.
Bell, feeling the warmth of their love, smiled softly through his own forming tears.
Bell: *Teary eyed* It's good to be home, aunty.
Violet, ever the composed one, directed Rose to close the door, though Rose, hesitant and worried, couldn't shake off her apprehension.
Rose: R-Right... *Is he going to tell on me?!*
As Meteria finally loosened her embrace, her tear-filled eyes glistened with emotions too intense to put into words. She spoke, her voice quivering with love and longing.
Meteria: *Teary-eyed* I've truly, missed you, Bell...
Bell, touched by his mother's raw emotions, responded with-
Bell: And I've missed you more than words can say, Mother.
Violet: Young master, it's been too long.
Cynthia: *Teary eyed* Young master~ We've missed you!
The two maids did a slight bow as they greeted Bell.
Bell: Cynthia-nee, Violet-nee. I've missed you two...
Still hugging his crying mother, Bell greeted the two maids with a warm smile.
???: Uhm.....Should I really be here?
Suddenly a voice in the room were heard, everyone apart from Bell immediately looked for the source of the voice, and with the small room it didn't take long for them to. Because of the group's emotional reunion with Bell, as well as the anticipation boiling in their hearts none of them even registered the orange haired girl seated beside where Bell was sitting at before he and Meteria embraced.
Everyone apart from Bell and the still tearful Meteria began to glare at the orange haired girl in the room.
Alfia: *Glare* Who are you?! And what are you doing here?
She asked with a hint of malice.
Violet: Please, allow me to dispose-
Bell: Wait wait wait!
Suddenly Bell ran to the girl's side shielding her from Alfia and the other's glare.
Cynthia: You know her young master?
Bell: Um. Allow me to introduce to you, Lefiya!
The girl stood up from the couch and did a small bow
Lefiya: Hello! My name is Lefiya Virdis! N-Nice to meet you!
Everyone in the room had one thought in that moment, if Bell was introducing a girl to them during what was supposed to be their family reunion, it would mean said girl is someone special.
Meteria: Nice.....to meet you Lefiya.....Tell me are you my son's-
Lefiya: Girlfriend? Yes, I'm Bell's girlfriend.
The room fell into a sudden hush the moment Lefiya confessed. Even the composed Alfia and unflappable Violet seemed momentarily surprised by her direct admission.
Bell: Why don't we all take a seat?
Without further ado, Alfia and Meteria settled on the couch opposite Bell and Lefiya, while Cynthia and Violet positioned themselves behind Alfia and Meteria.
Bell: I'm sorry for springing this on you so suddenly. I just wanted you all to meet Lefiya as soon as possible.
Meteria: I-I... well, it's not entirely unexpected.
Alfia: M-Meteria?!
Meteria: What's wrong, sister? Do you think any woman could resist my Bell's charms?
Alfia: T-That's not what I meant!
Meteria: Isn't that right, Cynthia? Violet?
Cynthia:*Smiling* Absolutely, Meteria-sama!
Violet: Indeed, Meteria-sama. Bell-sama has that effect.
Bell: *Blushing* Um, anyway...
Meteria: Yes, yes, enough of that. Tell us—
Alfia: Who is this young lady? How did you two meet? Where are you from? Does your parents know you're here? Do you—
Meteria:*Smiling* Sister...
With a smile, Meteria nudged Alfia, trying to divert her enthusiasm. However, it wasn't a joyful smile; rather, it was tinged with annoyance, something Alfia quickly noticed.
Lefiya: Um...
Meteria: *Chuckling* Apologies for that, Lefiya. My sister can be a bit... excited. So, tell us about yourself! How did you meet my son?
With her smile, Meteria managed to lighten the mood in the room.
Lefiya: Well, I was the class representative when I met Bell, and things... sort of just took off from there.
With a slight blush, Lefiya honestly answered.
Alfia: Class representative? I assume your grades are up to par?
Bell: Uh, Aunt Alfia, she—
Lefiya: I've actually achieved the highest grades in the history of the school district.
Everyone, except Bell, widened their eyes upon hearing Lefiya's achievement.
Meteria: I-Is that so?
Bell: Yes, it's true, Mother. Lefiya excels in almost everything she does.
Violet: Grades don't necessarily dictate success in the real world.
Alfia: Violet has a point there.
Lefiya: I've also built connections with many nations outside Orario.
Alfia: *Tsk!* And pray tell how you did that?
Lefiya: Well.....It seems that by staying close to Bell, adventures just come our way.
Her straightforward response to someone like Alfia caused Meteria to crack a laugh.
Meteria: *Chuckling* I'll toast to that.
Alfia: S-Sister!
A bit embarrassed, Alfia tried called to Meteria.
Meteria: *Chuckling* Sorry sorry, it's just.......I rarely hear anyone answer to you like that....it's.....refreshing.
Alfia blushed red because of her sister.
Seeing this Meteria coughed once to change the tone.
Meteria: Anyways sister, enough with your questions. You don't want to scare Bell's girlfriend don't you?
Alfia:*If she's going to be scared with something like this then she doesn't deserve to be Bell's lover*
She looked at Alfia with finality before turning back to Lefiya.
Meteria: Lefiya, would you like to join us for lunch at our place?
Without hesitation, Lefiya smiled and said—
Lefiya: *Smiling* I'd love to! I've been eager to see where Bell grew up.
Meteria: *Chuckling* I think you and I will get along splendidly.
Lefiya: Could you share some stories about Bell's childhood?
Meteria: Certainly!
Bell: *Blushing* No, please! Not too many embarrassing ones!
With a big smile on her face Lefiya said-
Lefiya: And spare no details!
Meteria: Oh most certainly not!
The two woman chuckled as the group stood up preparing to head home.
Bell: *I'm scared*
