Cole faced off with the Skull Sorcerer and putting all his faith in the Blades of Deliverance, he attacks the Sorcerer who claims the blades have no power. Meanwhile, Zero, the ninja, Geckles, Munce, and Upply fought off the Re-Awakened and Grief-Bringer.
"Aria hurry up!" Zero shouts
"Don't rush me damn it!" Aria shouts back at him
"How long does it take to turn into a dragon?!" Zero turns around and fully faces her "Just do it!"
"If it's so easy you do it!" Aria argues
The ninja turn to look at the sibling.
"Well needless to say Aria's alive," Jay comments
"I can't do it, I'm not a dragon!" Zero argues
"Then shut up!" Aria shouts
"You damn brat!" Zero growls and turns back to the fight
They were soon overpowered by the skeletons. Lloyd puts his hands over his head when the Grief-Bringer was about to step on him. Suddenly he heard a roar and he opened his eyes to see Aria in her dragon form, tackle it to the ground away from Lloyd.
"Good job honey!" Lloyd smiles
The Skull Sorcerer knocks the Blades off the edge and Cole manages to grab them. The Skull Sorcerer continues to fight Cole.
"Your mother lied to the Geckles and the Munce!" Skull Sorcerer shouts "She told them the blades were magical... because she wanted to instill in them some courage. Some hope"
Skull of Hazza D'ur: False hope.
"So she deceived them! And now her deceit has doomed you"
Skull of Hazza D'ur: Her only son!
Skull Sorcerer used the Skull of Hazza D'ur to destroy the two Blades.
"Ugh, no. It can't be" Cole stares at the broken blades
"It is. And now, you will pay the price for your mother's lies" Skull Sorcerer faces him
Skull of Hazza D'ur: Lies, deceit!
Vania, Wu, and an army of guards arrive to help.
"Vania" Cole looks up at her
"Too late. She cannot save you" Skull Sorcerer attacks and Cole defends
Meanwhile the Grief-Bringer bites Aria and in return she slams the Grief-Bringer into rocks.
"Aria!" Lloyd calls out to her
Hailmar swoops in and flies Lloyd away from the two dragon's fight before he got injured.
"Best to stay away from them," Hailmar tells him
Lloyd watches worriedly before running off to help the others. Cole, who by now has given up, has a flashback about his promise to his mother before she died. While Aria finally knocks the Grief Bringer out and she transforms back into her human form panting.
During the flashback, Cole realizes that it wasn't the blades that made Lilly powerful, it was the power inside her. With this knowledge, he unlocks the Spinjitzu Burst and sends the Skull Sorcerer flying back and the Skull of Hazza D'ur flying through the air, before Zero quickly catches it.
Aria rushes over and puts her hand over him, releasing his power. The Awakened Warriors and Grief-Bringer turns into a pile of bones, while also taking away the Skull Sorcerer's powers and turning him back into Vangelis.
"You damn brats!" the Skull of Hazza D'ur shouts
"Shut up dad!" Zero knocks the skull against a rock
"Ow!" the Skull of Hazza D'ur complains
Lloyd rushes over and hugs Aria.
"He said you were dead," Lloyd says as he tightens his hold "I was scared."
"It's alright," Aria smiles "I'm here Lloyd.. just in time."
"As always," Lloyd kisses her hand
The two turn to see the king begging his daughter for forgiveness.
"Hailmar, get him out of my sight" Vanya orders and two guards arrest Vangelis.
"Unhand me!" Vangelis shouts as he's taken away "I am your King! I am your King!"
"Not anymore you twisted fuck," Zero calls out
"Zero," Aria looks at him "..nice one."
"Hmph," Zero crosses his arms with a smirk

Back in the Kingdom of Shintaro, Vania flies up to a platform and reads from a scroll.
"I, Princess Vania of the Kingdom of Shintaro, do hereby solemnly swear to stand up to those that are cruel and unjust. To uphold the laws of the Kingdom and to protect and faithfully serve all who dwell above and below the mountain"
"Then it is my great honor and privilege to pronounce you, Queen Vania, the rightful ruler of Shintaro" Hailmar smiles
The crowd cheers, and Fungus creates fireworks. Soon after, the ninja are getting ready to go home. Layla was talking to Hailmar as Aria approached Zero who had a sad look on his face.
"Whatcha thinking about little bro?" Aria asks
"I'm older then you dummy," Zero flicks her head "..in this life."
"What's the matter?" Aria asks him "You look sad."
"I'm going to miss this place," Zero sighs "but best to get back home."
"Prince Zero!"
The two turn to see Vania rushing towards them. Aria takes that as her cue to leave and pats Zero on the shoulder before walking to Layla.
"Yes, Queen Vania?" Zero questions as he turns to her
"Well- I.." Vania looks away "I hope.. you'll visit.. from time to time."
"Perhaps if I get a chance," Zero smiles gently to her
"Do you have to leave?" Vania asks, not looking up at him.
"I'm afraid so," Zero tells her "I will miss your kingdom though. I've never really called a place home before, so know you have a good one."
"It could.. become yours too," Vania looked up at him "Shintaro could use a good swordman like you, Hailmar will have to retire eventually."
Aria nudged her mother and pointed at the two, the royals walked over.
"Thank you," Zero says "but I have to be in Ninjago to protect my sister. It is my purpose in life."
"Excuse me," Aria leaned between them "I can take care of myself."
Zero and Vania looked over at her, Layla standing close behind.
"What is it that you have requested Queen Vania?" Layla questions
"Well.. I.." Vania turns to her "I had asked prince Zero if he would consider staying here in Shintaro.."
"I don't see why not," Layla replies as she turns to her son "what do you want to do Zero?"
"What?" Zero looked shocked "I couldn't possibly-"
"Why not?" Aria asks "I can protect myself now, I'm no longer a baby Zero, you don't have to look after me."
"I couldn't possibly-"
"I asked you what you wanted prince Zero." Layla interrupts staring at him "This is not a decision for us."
"Am I.. truly able to make this decision?" Zero asks curiously before turning to Aria "What if you get hurt? What if you go missing?"
"Zero, you've looked after me my whole life," Aria smiles "it's time to look after yourself."
"I would.." Zero looked at Vania who smiles to him, he smiles and faces his mother "I would like to stay here.. if you would allow me mother."
"You are your own person son," Layla says before walking towards the ship "send me letters."
Zero turns to Aria who smiles at him.
"Good luck big brother," Aria says "I hope you find what you're looking for."
Zero hugs her and Aria wraps her arms around him.
"Thanks for looking out for me all these years," Aria says
"Thanks for having me.." Zero replies before muttering "big sis.."
Aria closes her eyes and holds onto her brother tightly.
"You know.. it kinda feels like the last time we said goodbye.." Aria tells him "not knowing if it was forever."
"It won't be forever," Zero replies "I can promise you that this time."
Aria releases him as Cole walks over with his crew.
"If you ever need my help, all you will have to do is ask and I will bring the entire Army of Shintaro to your aid" Vanya promises
"And I will bring the entire four of us" Plunder adds
"Upply, Upply, Upply!" the group chants
"Thanks, guys. You're the best" Cole says happily
"And thank you" Gleck says "Son of Gilly"
"Well," Cole put his arm over Aria's shoulders "could've never done it without her."
Aria looks at Cole and he smiles to her.
"Thanks for having my back on this one." Cole holds his fist out to her "Love you cuz.
Aria gives him a fist bump "Love you too cuz."
The two walk onto the Bounty with the ninja and wave goodbye as the ship takes off. Vania looks over at Zero who had tears in his eyes.
"Are you ok?" Vania questions
"Yeah," Zero wiped his eyes before waving to his sister
"Were you crying?" Vania asks looking concerned
"Of course not!" Zero shakes his head, Vania giggles before leaning against him, Zero wraps an arm around her before looking back at the ship "this isn't goodbye sister, not this time.. it's see you later."
