The next day, he tried to venture to another park. He's not doing anything except taking pictures while being eyed by girls who can't keep their eyes on him. And I didn't do anything too except from watching him and observing the people around us.
There were groups of families and tourists who were having a picnic. I suddenly felt envious as I watched them enjoy the good weather of Baguio with their food and their whole family.
I wish I had brought some picnic blanket too.
As usual, I was occupying a bench as I waited for him. So far, we were back to normal and we both acted that what happened yesterday didn't really happen. It's not that I am thinking about his words but I'm actually thinking how far would he go with his lies.
Mom and Dad will really do anything to fulfil their plans. And they are using him well. I don't know how they did it but El is doing his part well. If I didn't know that they were planning something, I might have fallen to his words already. But too bad.
Did they promise him something to act this way? Probably some of our properties? I don't know anymore. I heaved out a heavy sigh as I looked at him. Whatever it is, I dont care anymore. Because at the end of the day, I won't have a choice but to marry him.
A group of girls flocked around him again and he is entertaining them well. He stopped taking pictures and gave his full attention to the group of tourists. A lot of them are wearing revealing clothes and I bet he is enjoying his moment. I looked at myself and I opted for shorts and l white long sleeves for today. Baka may magalit na naman.
I stood up and looked for an ice cream stand instead. He can do whatever he wants and I'm not that bothered.
I walked for a moment until I found the stand. I ordered an avocado and strawberry flavour in a cone. Afterwhich, I went back and saw him already waiting for me on the bench.
Hindi naman ako nagtagal pero para niya akong pagagalitan sa klase ng titig niya.
I stood up in front of him as I licked my ice cream.
"Are you finished? It is almost lunch." I casually asked
Her eyes darken as he looked at me but then suddenly averted his gaze.
"Let's eat our lunch." He then stood up and reached for a basket.
I looked at the huge basket curiously as I followed him and walked toward a shaded part, underneath a tree. Is it a picnic basket?
I suddenly felt excitement as I looked at it. And when he started opening the basket and placing the huge blanket on the grassy ground, my eyes went wide and I couldn't help but smile.
I was just thinking about this and now it is happening!
Nang mailatag na niya ng maayos ito ay kaagad akong umupo. He let me while he started unpacking the food. I watched him do it all but I was more shocked when he placed a bucket of fried chicken and lots of different fast food in front of me.
I looked at him unbelievably. "I thought you don't like fast food?" Hindi ko mapigilang ngumiti.
He just raised his brows at me. "Yes. And you love it so..."
I could literally hug him right now. But of course I stopped myself. My smile continued to stretch as he organized everything. He is redeeming himself a little bit, huh?
"Start eating, it is still hot so be careful." He instructed and I quickly obliged.
I started eating with gusto while he set up everything. "I wish you were always like this." I can't help but comment.
He didn't respond but instead stood up and went in my back. But I was more shocked when I felt his presence on my back and saw his spread legs on both of my sides, basically caging me.
But that's not it. His arms suddenly coiled around my waist pulling my back closer to his chest. My back was on his front!
What the hell is he doing?
I looked back and was ready to blast him with my words when he suddenly spoke.
"Shut up and let me enjoy it for a moment." He authoritatively commanded, then he pulled me closer to him and placed his jacket around my exposed legs.
I was dumbfounded. And lost my ability to speak.
I could feel the heat of his body and his veiny arms that were possessively circled around my waist made me feel something more.
My eyes became uneasy and felt like I couldn't breathe at all. And I thought that would be the end of it. But no.
His lips then started softly and lightly kissing hair. What the hell is this act? This is too much!
"I liked your shampoo's smell and body wash." He commented casually.
I swallowed hard again as I tried to maintain my composure.
"Eh di bumili ka." I tried to casually state too.
He laughed at my response. Even his laugh was too manly for me, or probably sounded so expensive.
And why am I the only one feeling so bothered. He is so casual with his actions and here I am trying so hard to breathe properly with his little actions and words.
"I could just smell you like this, I like it better this way."
There is no way this is happening. Like?
But why does his touch again feel so comfortable? I looked at his veiny arms on my waist and felt the heat of his body. Everything feels so comfortable. He is already invading my personal space but I don't feel offended at all!
I tried concentrating on my food while he eats from time to time too. We remained in that position until we both finished eating our food. Siya na rin ang nag ayos ulit ng mga gamit namin at akala ko hindi na siya babalik sa pwesto niya sa likod ko pero muli rin siyang bumalik pagkatapos.
This time, it became more comfortable because we are not eating anymore. My eyes were settled around us, as I observed the children playing under the sun. It wasn't that hot so everything was just so perfect.
He pulled me closer to him from the back until I surrendered my whole back and weight on him. His jacket remained on my legs, covering it.
"What will you gain from marrying me, El? You already have everything." I opened a conversation.
Seriously though, him marrying me won't benefit him at all. Dahil ang pamilya ko lang naman ang makikinabang. That is why I am having a hard time calculating his reasons why he is suddenly acting like this.
I felt him kissing my head again. "No. I'm not."
"Ummm...sinungaling." I lazily commented.
His chest was so hard yet so comfortable. I bet the girls that he bedded cuddled him all evening. I could already imagine random girls laying her head on his chest after their activity.
Bigla akong napabangon, but I remained in between his legs. I shouldn't have lined up myself with the girls he bedded. It's just disgusting!
"What's the problem?"
I looked back at him and looked at him curiously. "Have you done these things with other girls too?"
I am more curious. Nothing else.
He raised his brows at me as if I was asking a very dumb question. But slowly, he shook his head.
He is lying of course. I rotated my butt and put both of my legs over his other leg, facing him sideways.
The side of his lips lift with my actions. But I am more curious.
My eyes remained looking at him curiously. "Is it true na patagong fukcboy ka? Gaston is more bold right?"
His eyes immediately glared at me. "Tsk."
"And they said that you are really good in bed?! Didnt you know that your sexcapades were the topic of the school? That you like mature women because..."
And he's probably gonna kill me by glaring now. Napatikom ako ng bibig.
"You believe all of that?" He narrowed his eyes on me.
Unti-unti akong tumango. "I mean, I saw you several times with different girls, making out and all in different clubs with Joaquin."
Napaawang ang mga labi niya sa kompirmasyon ko. And he is obviously shocked.
"Fucked!" He cursed to himself as he looked at me uneasily.
Napangiti ako. He seems so bothered but just like what I said, I don't like him. At akala niya ba maitatago niya ang mga gawain niya? People talked about him all the damn time, and information about their family spread like a wildfire. Wala siyang maitatago.
"Why are you smiling, huh?" And now he is accusing me.
I shook my head, still smiling. "You don't have to hide it. I don't like you El, so you are free to do whatever you want. And your expression is funny." I laughed a little bit.
His mood went serious in an instant. I stopped myself from laughing when he suddenly pulled my waist again closer to his body. I remained sideways and looked up to him, still smiling a little bit.
"Tsk. That was before. I'm in love with you and I don't look at other girls anymore." Pasuplado nitong sagot. "And don't believe the rumours." He added more.
Ako naman ngayon ang napatulala sa paraan ng pagsagot niya. Why does he keep on insisting that he is in love with me?
His other hand reached the side of my head pulling me closer to his hard chest. Nagpaubaya ako, and couldn't help but sniff his shirt. He still smelled the same, just like what he gave me during my incident inside the bus while going to Laguna. His perfume was just right, but obviously expensive.
"And do you want to try my skills in bed now? We could. I'm gonna marry you so we don't have to worry if we're gonna get pregnant."
Tuluyan ulit akong napalayo sa mga binitawan niyang mga salita. I looked at him unbelievably. What the hell is he saying? Palalala siya ng palalala.
"I just don't fuck anyone. And I am a virgin and I'm reserving my virginity to the man that I'm gonna marry." I don't know why but my cheeks suddenly heats up after stating it directly to him.
He looked so amused with my answer as he smirked at me.
"Then, let's wait for our wedding then. And don't say 'fuck', were gonna make love, Lenikah."
My cheeks heated more with his response. Why are we even on this topic?
He then suddenly levelled up our eyes. "Though, I could provide you both..." He sensually whispers.
Naitulak ko siya ng tuluyan. His laugh roared but he quickly pulled me closer again to his chest while he gathered my legs to his one side.
I hate him more. Kaya pala gustong gusto siya ng mga babae, at hirap na hirap siyang makalimutan. He is too much for me!
We both remained in that position hanggang sa umuwi na rin kami. We spent the next days together at hindi ko lang alam kung dito ba siya magpapasko. He should be with his family though.
The other day would be the 25th already but he seemed not to have a plan on going back in the metro.
"Hindi ka uuwi ng metro?" I asked as we had our dinner at home.
The weather is getting colder but January and February are the coldest of them all.
"No. I'm gonna be spending my holidays with you." He casually stated and went back to his food again.
This is not good. "Umuwi ka. It is Christmas and you should spend it with your family."
He stopped eating and gave me his full attention. Naibaba ko naman ang hawak kong kubyertos.
"You are my fiance and soon will be my wife. You are my family then."
Napataas naman ang kilay ko sa klase ng sagot niya. Not convincing at all.
"Umuwi ka pa rin. We are not yet married so don't give me that reason. You could come back after christmas but you should go back again in the new year." I bargained.
He furrowed his brows but later on let out a heavy sigh. "Then we'll text and call each other everyday."
"Okay. No problem with me."
And so the next day, I watched him put his things inside the SUV. His driver just arrived a few hours ago and they will both go back to Manila. His movements were heavy and he's been looking at me differently since this morning.
Lumapit siya sa akin. And he did not maintain a distance at all. I saw Ate Myrna's silly smile while she entered the house after looking at us.
I looked up to him while his hands were both on my elbow, holding it gently.
"I always call you and you should answer it." He commanded.
We will be only apart for a few days. But he is acting as if we'll be apart for years.
