Today was a momentous day for the Storm Hawks, because today Aerrow alerted the others of him and Mags's plan to surprise Luna with her very own Skimmer.
Aerrow: Okay, we all know the drill, we're gonna put this skimmer together and make Luna her very own ride
Mags: We got all the parts we need all we need now to put this baby together and give Luna the best surprise is the whole wide wo-oah!!! Hey Luna, how you doing?
Luna: Good, so where are we heading?
Aerrow:... Well, we need to head to Terra Saharr to do a supply run
Luna: Really? But don't we have enough from my home Terra?
Aerrow: Well, we need something else that your home Terra doesn't have
Luna: Like?
Junko: Uhm...
Mags:... Oh! We need a rare tellurium crystal
Luna: Tellurium crystals? Do those even exist?
Mags: Uhm
Piper: They do!! And they only exist in Terra Saharr, so we need you to go get them!
Luna:... Okay, anything else
Aerrow: We need bandages and medicine
Finn: A new pair of socks
The Storm Hawks looked at Finn with a "really?" Look on their face.
Stork: Volume 2 of the most horrifying creature that exist in Atmos
Luna: Alright then, I'll get ready when we land at Terra Saharr [walks away]
[Door Closes]
Storm Hawks: [sigh] That was close
Piper: Socks? Really Finn?
Finn: What?! I had to think of something!!
Mags: You could've come up with something better
Finn: Like what?! A dress!
Mags: [look at Finn up and down] Yeah I never thought you would dress like a girl
Finn: Hey!!
Aerrow: The good thing is we have Luna out of the Condor, all we have to do is fix the skimmer and design it
Piper: Great, only one question... What kind of design does she want
[Cricket Chirping]
Aerrow: Oh, I never thought of that
Stork: Approaching Terra Saharr!!
Aerrow: Great! Luna should be heading to the market
Luna: I'm heading out! By the way should I have one of you go with me?
Aerrow: Uhm, why don't you go by yourself for a change
Luna: Okay, I guess
Aerrow: Remember!
Luna: Tellurium Crystal, bandages, medicine, socks, and a book of volume 2 of the most horrifying creatures that exist in Atmos! Got it!! Oh! Should I-
Piper: You can borrow my Heliscooter!!
Luna:... Okay
Luna walked off to the Hangar as she hopped on Piper's Heliscooter and drove off to the market, Stork watched through the scope as she drove far off to the martlet and away from the Condor.
Stork: The Baby Kitten is out
Aerrow: Great, now let's go work in putting this skimmer together
Storm Hawks: Yeah!!
Finn: What about the design?
Radarr: [whining]
Aerrow: Why don't we design different options, the best one will be the design
Mags: I don't know about that
Aerrow: What do you mean
Mags: I mean sometimes whenever we can't decide on what we'll do it ends up with all of us arguing
Aerrow: It won't be like that, trust me
Mags: Mhn hm... I give it 30 minutes we'll all be arguing
Meanwhile, Luna arrived at the market and parked a Heliscooter aside. She walked around the market to search for the things they requested.
Luna: Hmmm... Let see, Sock, volume 2, bandages and medicine, and tellurium crystals. I mean I can find the others but tellurium crystals, does that even exist? I mean there's a thunderbolt crystal but a tellurium crystal. I don't know... Ah, here are the socks [hands the merchant coins] now for the book, medicine and bandages, finally the tellurium crystal. Doo doo doo~ tellurium~ doo doo doo~ tellurium crystal~ oh! Here the book [hands the merchant coins] all I need is the medicine, bandage, and tellurium crystal. Too easy~ I wonder how the others are doing without me?
Back with the Storm Hawks everyone helped put together the skimmer as the wings were on and working in perfect condition, the wheels were on, and finally the windshield were placed.
Aerrow: Perfect, now it's looking like a skimmer
Mags: Guess we should paint it
Finn: But what color? I say we paint it brown
Piper: Why?
Finn: So she and I can match!
Storm Hawks: No
Piper: Oh! How about pink
Mags: Nah, we should go with teal
Junko: Or Yellow
Stork: Uhm... I'm thinking electric blue, to capture her beautiful hair
Aerrow: C'mon guys, we should fight over what color we should paint it. I say we should go with plum
[Cricket Chirping]
Radarr didn't approve to any of the colors they were choosing, that the Storm Hawks started a small argument. Making Radarr worried about the argument getting heated to the point where they were about to grab the bucket of paints until they heard Luna voice.
Luna: [Radio]: Hey guys, I'm just letting you know I got the book, medicine, bandages, and socks
Finn: [whispers] That was fast! How did she do that?!
Aerrow: Eh, that's great Luna
Luna [Radio]: All I'm missing is the Tellurium Crystal and I'll be heading back, maybe the chief in Terra Saharr will know
Piper: No!! I mean! Maybe you should look around and see if you can find it on your own, you should be able to find it. It can't be hard to miss
Luna [Radio]: Yeah~ Maybe I should stay away from the Condor and search for it
Aerrow: Great idea and-
Mags: Wait! Why do you sound like you saw something interesting that will get you into danger?
Luna [Radio]: uhhhh kkhhhh oh no khhhh I'm cutting off kkkhhhh
Mags: Luna that is the fakest radio cutting off I have ever heard
Luna [Radio]: Bye~ I love you!! [bzzzt]
Mags: Maybe I should go check in on her
Aerrow: Mags, she's fine. What's the worst that can happen. Cyclonian are plotting to harm the town with some kind of device? Haha, now let's get designing the color for Luna skimmer, even though we know mine will be better
Mags: Ha! Nice try, but mine will reign supreme
Finn: Nah uh! Mine is!!
Piper: Oh you're going down!!
Back with Luna, she drove the Heliscooter to the destination where she noticed a couple of Cyclonians working on building some kind of power drill. But when she looked at where there was a tent, someone walked out and Luna was shocked to see the two people she least expected to see.
The Dark Ace and Repton
Luna ducked down as she peeked her head to the side to see the Dark Ace and Repton discussing something. She carefully crept around the rocks and lay low as she hid behind a rock close enough to where they were and listen in.
Dark Ace: The sooner the drill is complete, we'll sink the town into a deeper depths and trap them
Repton: And with the crystal we have, we'll for sure get the job done quicker!
Dark Ace: I will be leaving this scroll into your trust, the sooner Luna rejects signing it. The easier the signature will appear and Luna will be stuck with me, forever. Fufufu
Luna gasped as she leaned close when suddenly a few small rocks fell onto the ground, causing a small noise to draw their attention.
Repton: What was that?!
Luna covered her mouth when she heard footsteps approaching where she is, as she watched a silhouette of the Dark Ace walking towards the rock she was hiding when she tried to to shrink herself against the rock so that she's hidden. She looked up and saw Dark Ace next go the rock as she held her breath and looked around until he turned around and didn't see Luna.
Dark Ace: It was probably the wind, let's continue the plan accordingly. I have to head back to Cyclonia, I trust that you and your raptors will make sure you don't lose the scroll
Repton:... We'll secure it
Dark Ace: Good, I'll be off
Luna watched as the Dark Ace walked towards his Skimmer and drove off, while she peeked around the corner to see Repton place the scroll on top of the desk as the commands every talon and raptor to get back to work.
Luna: [whisper] Perfect chance to get the scroll back
Luna pulled her hoodie on and pulled up her mask as she moves like a ninja and avoids being spotted as she nears the tent and enters to see the scroll in clear view. She walked towards the table as she grabs it and unravels the scroll, hoping that it would be what she was looking for only to be disappointed that it wasn't the one, just a blueprint plan of the drill.
Luna: Ugh!! I HATE YOU DARK ACE!!!!!!!
Luna froze when she realized that she shouted at the top of her lungs, catching so much attention including the Raptors and Talons.
Luna: Oops
Repton: It's you!!! GET HER!!!!
Luna: Well, I wanted action and I get it
Luna took out her hammer guitar and started bashing and smashing any Talons that came at her, including blocking Spitz and Hoerk. Afterwards she switched it up with her energy whip that held an icer crystal when she jumped up in the air and attacked. As she twirled and catches Hoerk with her whip, pulling him towards a group of talons and Spitz as they knock onto the ground in pain. Luna rushes up to the drill getting ready to destroy it when to her shock she didn't expect Repton to appear in front of her and use his weapon that contained a scalus crystal, Luna froze in shocked as she reached out for a paint bomb only for Repton to strike and knock Luna onto the ground. Luna got up as she crawled towards her paint bomb to grab it, only for Repton to be blocking her way while his boomerang neared her face.
Repton: Not so tough now, are you Princess
Luna: [glares] Tch
Luna was pulled up by two Talons, while Repton laughed along with his Raptors.
Repton: I'd contact the Dark Ace to let him know that his precious runaway bride is here. But why not show you as the town sinks and crumble
Luna: You won't get away with this!!
Repton: Actualy, I can!! Hahahahahahaha!!!
Talon E: Heh, looks like you lose... Eh... What's a good insulting name
Talon G: Uhhh
Leugey: Oh I know one that Repton told me but I forgot why he told me not to say it... Oh. Pipsqueak!!
[Record Scratch]
Luna: [eye twitch] [growls] What. Did you. Say?
Repton: Idiot!!! You said the word!!!
Leugey: What? Pipsqueak?
[Ding Ding!]
Luna broke free from the talons grips as she threw them far while they let out a girly scream as Luna knocked Leugey out, rushing forward to the drill as the others tried to stop her only to be thrown, bashed, punched, or kicked out by the little menacing girl. Making Spitz and Hoerk panic as they try to make a run for it only to get caught by her whip as she bashes their bodies on the ground multiple times as she twirled them around and launched them at Repton only to avoid the attack and grin but get kicked on the back by Luna as she kneed him on the ground and bash his body with her hammer guitar until every talon and raptor is unconscious or groaning in pain.
Luna: FEAR THE WRATH OF LUNA!!!! HAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! [smile] Okay, time to get my tellurium crystal
Luna stepped on Repton head as she walked up to the drill control panels and removed the tellurium crystal, and pop it into her satchel as she gets off and leaves an explosive bomb behind on the drill as she casually walks up to the Heliscooter and hops on.
Luna: Oh! And just so you know that tellurium crystal isn't an actual crystal, just to improve machinery. Bye~ [drive off]
Repton: IDIOTS!!! YOU MADE ME BELIEVE THAT CRYSTAL COULD BREAK THOUGH ANYTHING!!!! WHY YOU-
[BOOM]
Luna: Hahaha, yes!! I got the tellurium crystal!! And the best part is, I didn't run into the Dark A- Oh no
Up ahead Luna spotted the Dark Ace with a few talons behind him, making Luna's eyes twitch until she saw him jump off and land on his Skimmer as he grins and looks her while holding his blade.
Luna: You have got to be kidding me!! 'Oh no, he's hot and WHAT AM I THINKING?! I NEED TO CLEANSE MY BRAIN AFTER I FIGHT THIS GUY!!'
Dark Ace: Well well, I never thought that my dear bride would come back to me
Luna: Nah, I was hoping to avoid you like the plague. Man, sure wish I had the Storm Hawks right now
Luna made a sharp turn to the clouds to avoid being spotted, while the Dark Ace and the talons went after her. Meanwhile, back at the Condor everyone had different ideas but could decide on which color to choose as they argue back and forth. Radarr needed to put a stop to this argument when he had an idea, he rushed to Luna's quarters and rummage through her desk until he found Luna design and color scheme to the skimmer. He rushed back to the others as they kept bickering back and forth, when Radarr screeched to get their attention as he presented the design and Aerrow took it out of Radarr hand.
Aerrow: Radarr, you're a genius! This is brilliant!
Mags: Yeah, the colors make it look like a galaxy
Piper: And it some of the colors we wanted to add on, good thinking Radarr
Stork: Uhm, I believe this must be from Luna room, am I right?
Radarr: [nods agreeably]
Aerrow: As much as it was wrong to go into her room, this is perfect for her skimmer. Stork Hawks, let's get paining!
Storm Hawks: Yeah!!
Mags: I wonder how Luna doing with the supply run
Aerrow: I'm sure she's fine, she probably saw Burner and is having a nice chat with them
Wrong. Luna was on the ground dodging and swerving as she tries to avoid the Dark Ace and the Talons, she went through tunnels and around rocky pillars but couldn't shake him off her tail. Just then she noticed the rocks all around and decided to have a plan, she dropped another smoke bomb to hide from the others as they drove past her, making Luna drive away as she took off her glove and started tapping at any medium, small, or large rocks around the area until she was ready to trap them.
Luna: This should be enough, now I just need to wait and-
Just then Luna felt an enormous blast sending her across the ground along with the Heliscooter, she got up and spotted the Dark Ace walking out of the dust cloud along with a few Talons. Luna slowly got up and started backing away until she was at the edge of the cliff, as she looked back at the long drop and back at Dark Ace.
Dark Ace: No where to run Luna, give up nice and slowly or we can make this difficult for you. You're trapped
Luna:... [smirk] Fufufu, I think it's you who is trapped
Luna placed her fingers together when suddenly a rock fell from the sky, making the talon pick it up as he looked up from the sky and said "oh no." This got the Dark Ace's attention when he looked up as his eyes widen and gasped, rocks falling from the sky flying towards them.
Luna: See ya later, Dark Ace! Come back with the scroll next time so I can get rid of you from my life!!
Luna drove the Heliscooter before Dark Ace could go after her when so many rocks came falling and they were all completely buried in rocks, Luna drove off only to be stopped by a few talons that she didn't capture.
Talon A: You're not going anywhere, kid
Luna: Oh crumbs
???: You might wanna leave the girl alone
Just then the Talons got knocked out and punched as they scurried and ran off, Luna was surprise to see the Third Degree Burners in the presence of Luna.
Scorch: Were we too late?
Luna: You arrived just in time, thank you. I wasn't expecting anyone could reach my call for help
Blister: You Storm Hawks helped up, now we return you a favor. Consider us, even
Luna: Yeah, I have to head back to the Condor. Do you mind escorting me there, just to keep me safe
Blister: With pleasure
Luna drove off with the Third Degree Burners tailing her to keep her safe, Luna contacted the Storm Hawks and spoke.
Luna: Storm Hawks! Have the ramp ready, I'm coming home
Aerrow [coms]: Great!! Because we wanna surprise you with something~ just wait outside the Condor and we'll bring you up
Luna: Sweet! I'll be there!! And~ I have invited the Third Degree Burners too
Aerrow [coms]: Wiat, why are they with you?
Luna:... Uhhh [screech] Oh dear! [screech] I'm cutting off [screech] Bye~ [hang up] Phew! That was a close one
Luna drove off and approached the Condor where the others were waiting, as she stopped and parked by them along with the Third Degree Burners.
Aerrow: Blister, nice to see you
Blister: You as well, Storm Hawks
Mags: Say, Luna did you completed your supply run?
Luna: Oh! I sure did, I got everything including [take out the crystal] The tellurium crystal
Storm Hawks: WHAT!?
Luna: Yeah, I can't believe it I managed to find it, though I'm curious about what kind of machinery you're going to improve
Piper: Uhmm... We'll think of something
Aerrow: So nothing bad happen?
Luna: Mh mh [Nods disagreeable]
Mags: You didn't get into trouble?
Luna: Mh mh [nods disagreeable]
Aerrow: You didn't get lost?
Luna: Mh mh [nods disagreeable]
Mags: You didn't blow something up?
Luna: Mh Mh [nods disagreeable]
Aerrow: You didn't run into the Dark Ace?
Luna: Mh
Mags: Luna
Luna: Mh
Aerrow: Why are you making that face
Luna: Mh
Mags: Luna did you run into the Dark Ace?!
Luna: Mh!! [sweating]
Mags/Aerrow: LUNA!!!!
Luna: Well~
Mags: Tell us or else no surprise for you
Luna: Yes, I did. but to clarify I did managed to kick butt when I ran into the Raptors too!
Aerrow/Mags: YOU RAN INTO REPTON!!??
Finn: They're like her parents
Piper: They should get together already
Mags: You, will deal with you later. For now, keep your eyes closed we have a surprise~
Luna: [close her eyes] Did you two finally confess your love for each other and want me to be your wedding planner?
Mags: I said surprise, not a miracle
Aerrow: Follow us
Aerrow and Mags lead Luna into the Hangar as the kept her eyes closed, they all surround the drape object.
Aerrow: Okay, you can open them now!
Luna opened her eyes to see a draped object while the others smiled, Junko pulled the cloth as they unveil Luna's very own Skimmer painted in a mix color of purple, blue, yellow, green, colors to make it look like the galaxy, with a few stars around that show the constellation.
Storm Hawks: TA-DA~!!!!
Luna: [gasp] NO WAY!!! YOU MADE ME MY VERY OWN SKIMMER!!!??
Aerrow: Yep!! It's all yours!!
Piper: And we painted it exactly how you like it
Luna: How did you know these were the colors I wanted?!
Aerrow: We had a hunch you'd want this [high five Radarr]
Luna: This is so cool!! I can't wait to ride this!!
Aerrow: Why wait, we're here at Saharr, let's give it a test run. Stork
Stork: Yes!
Aerrow: Time to open the Hangar door, we're gonna fly
[Narrator: Hey Siri!! Play the opening theme of Storm Hawks!!!]
Luna hopped on her skimmer as the Storm Hawks got on their own, after they fixed up Piper's Heliscooter. Engines roaring as Luna smiled big and looked at her friends, they all smiled and Luna started up her skimmer and drove off into the sky. Everyone was cheering as Luna performed a few tricks in the air, to her satisfaction she smiled and cheered.
Mags: She loves it
Aerrow: Told you I kept my word
Mags: So you did
Luna switched her skimmer from wings to wheels as they ride the desert all over Terra Saharr, Luna drifted and jumped over ramps as she screamed with joy.
Luna: THIS IS THE BEST SURPRISE GIFT EVEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRR!!!!!!!
